Harrison Ford Injured on Set of Star Wars, Expected to Survive

Han Solo has been compromised. Disney confirmed today that Harrison Ford was injured during the filming of Star Wars: Episode VII, saying via press release that the veteran actor hurt his ankle and was taken to a hospital in London. “Harrison Ford sustained an ankle injury during filming today on the set of Star Wars: Episode VII,” reads the company statement. “He was taken to a local hospital and is receiving care. Shooting will continue as planned while he recuperates.” Details are scarce, but the star – reprising his beloved role of Han Solo for the wildly anticipated follow-up – was filming a scene near the door of the Millennium Falcon when the incident occurred. J.J. Abrams, of course, is directing the Star Wars reboot, which will set 30 years after the events of Return of the Jedi. It will return original stars Ford, Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill and also feature up-and-comers such as  Lupita Nyong’o , Adam Driver, John Boyega and Daisy Ridley. I like to think that Lily Aldridge scammed the fucking system. She’s one of these entitled LA rich kid scenesters who grew up around the cool kids who “ran shit” in her city…and in doing so she got VIP and backstage at all the events…always dating the guy in the band, whether it was Kings of Leon or some other shitty act…like Maroon 5…you can’t hide your past…all while booking commercials…like tampon ads… Then one day, she tricked a booker at the right agency to pull her out of commercial modelling she was only getting because she knew the right people, to actual modelling, because no commercial model really likes being referred to as a commercial model, but all models want to be Victoria’s Secret girls…so I guess the team at Victoria’s Secret factored in the fact her Husband was in a huge band, and the fact that she’s not that bad looking, even if she’s short, and her implants were small enough to fit in with the other girls, so book her in…it’s not like they even had to pay her. I am convinced, she is a volunteer working for them. I am also convinced she’s a horrible person…the only interesting thing about her is that her mom was a Playmate in the 60s and I’m all looking at bids of anyone raised by pornstars of their generation…even if I think they suck.

Is this video of a possible Sasquatch? Myles Lamont of Vancouver, British Columbia, shot this footage in mid-2011, but is just uploading it now, renewing the never-ending debate over Bigfoot. Not unlike all other Bigfoot sightings (below), the footage is obviously grainy and shot from an incredible distance. No one can ever get the thing in focus. Nevertheless … whatever that creature is appears to be gigantic and moving at BREAKNECK speed up a snowy slope in the Tantalus Range mountains. But is it a ‘squatch? You decide: Sasquatch Video: Real or Fake?! Lamont acknowledges that “we were able to view the subject much better than what the video portrays, as [we used] a simple point and shoot camera.” “The subject was clearly bipedal,” he adds, and from what he could observe, “was without snowshoes or backpack and wearing all one-colored clothing. “Movement over this kind of terrain in soft snow without snowshoes would have been very difficult,” he says, not to mention “the distance traveled.” “For a human without proper snow travel gear,” Lamont concludes, this kind of speed would be incredibly hard. Of course, that doesn’t make it impossible. “Perhaps the most reasonable explanation is a very ill-prepared hiker … one who is very physically fit and able to cover ground in an unusually quick fashion.” Especially if said hiker had “very large feet.” What do you think? Seth Rogen  ripped Justin Bieber as “an obnoxious piece of sh!t” back in March and now it seems he’s not quite done ragging on his fellow Canadian. Rogen sat down with Howard Stern today and explained his distaste for the Biebs: “He’s a good example of someone you meet, who you think you’re going to hate and then you get to hate him.” Rogen goes on to say that Bieber “lives up to every one of your expectations” of how terrible he’ll be. Harsh words! And believe it or not, it gets worse! Rogen refers to Bieber as a motherf*cker and a “dick” and says his time with Zac Efron on the set of his upcoming film Neighbors only served to highlight what a jerk Justin is. Seth describes Efron as having the “humility” that Bieber lacks before finally concluding: “F*ck this kid!” So we guess it’s safe to say Seth won’t be  partying with Bieber and Rob Ford at any Toronto hot spots in the near future. Oh, well. He may have lost a potential Canuck friend, but Rogen is certainly gaining plenty of fans by tearing JB a new one.
