Cold world… Morton’s Under Fire For Kicking Out Cancer Patient For Wearing Beanie Via NYDailyNews Morton’s Steakhouse will donate thousands of dollars to a Tennessee children’s hospital after staff at the restaurant’s Nashville location kicked out a large group when a cancer-ridden diner covered his head with a wool beanie. There was immediate social media backlash after the 16-person Christmas party at the restaurant rang up a $2,500 bill at the chain steakhouse Friday and were then booted from the upscale eatery after Robert Chambers put on his beanie. A waitress even told Chambers he needed a doctor’s note or to call ahead of his dinner so the party could be placed in a private room, several witnesses recounted on Facebook, Twitter and Yelp. Chambers and his family stormed out, while the rest of the party was in stunned disbelief. “After the rest of us complained – get this – MORTON’S CALLED THE POLICE ON US,” wrote reviewer Jason M. on Yelp. “We were not unruly, and quite civil given the absolute rudeness of the management. I was told by a manager that the police officer was just casually patrolling the area and came in, but I was told later that was a total lie. “It would be one thing if we were just a couple of guys, splitting an appetizer and causing a commotion. However, we were a table of 16 with a $2,000+ tab and being treated like criminals.” Says Mr. Chambers: “I have been in treatment for 10 months fighting for my life,” he wrote Monday. “I don’t need or want another battle. My family and friends are highly protective of me because of this situation. Assistant Principal Arrested For Sex With Student No wonder all these teachers are busting it on for the students… the freakiness starts at the top. According to AL: A former assistant principal at Pelham High School was arrested Thursday on charges she had sex with a male student. Catherine Michelle Bell, 33, turned herself in to the Shelby County Jail about 2:45 p.m. She is charged with three counts of “School Employee Engaging in a Sex Act or Deviant Sexual Intercourse with a Student Under the Age of 19 years,” Shelby County Sheriff Chris Curry announced this afternoon. The sheriff’s office led the investigation after being contacted by the Pelham Police Department, said Capt. Ken Burchfield. Sheriff’s investigators, along with the district attorney’s office, obtained the warrants against Bell, who is from Alabaster. She was held in the Shelby County Jail but released this evening after posting $90,000 bond. Authorities didn’t release specifics about the allegations against Bell. She was one of four assistant principals at the high school. Court records show she and her husband divorced in August and have shared custody of a 4-year-old son. Shelby County Schools spokeswoman Cindy Warner released the following statement. She said they wouldn’t answer additional questions at this time. “The Shelby County School District always takes these types of allegations seriously. The school district took immediate action when we were first made aware of the allegations. The employee was placed on administrative leave while the matter was being investigated by the school district, with the assistance of local law enforcement. She subsequently resigned from her position on November 21.” Birmingham defense attorney Tommy Spina is representing Bell. “She has fully cooperated with law enforcement and the school board since being confronted with these charges,” he said. “She resigned her position as assistant principal, cooperated with the school board officials and voluntarily surrendered all information she had in her possession when asked by the investigator to do so. She voluntarily surrendered to the jail today, and has made bond.” SMH.

When the Taliban starts shooting at you, perhaps you could stand up and let the words flow. “I’m sure they would just drop weapons and surrender. Gal Gadot, an Israeli actress best known for appearing in the Fast and Furious franchise, has been cast as Wonder Woman in the upcoming Man of Steel sequel. She will take on the iconic role opposite Ben Affleck as Batman and Henry Cavill (The Sexiest Man of 2013 ) as Superman. “Wonder Woman is arguably one of the most powerful female characters of all time and a fan favorite in the DC Universe,” said director Zack Snyder in a statement. “Not only is Gal an amazing actress, but she also has that magical quality that makes her perfect for the role. We look forward to audiences discovering Gal in the first feature film incarnation of this beloved character.” Gadot, 28, spent two years in the army and competed in the 2004 Miss Universe pageant as Miss Israel. Uh-oh… Hackers Steal 2 Million Facebook And Gmail Passwords Hide ya kids, hide ya wife…..and change ya passwords. Hackers are on the loose . via CNN Hackers have stolen usernames and passwords for nearly two million accounts at Facebook, Google, Twitter, Yahoo and others, according to a report released this week. The massive data breach was a result of keylogging software maliciously installed on an untold number of computers around the world, researchers at cybersecurity firm Trustwave said. The virus was capturing log-in credentials for key websites over the past month and sending those usernames and passwords to a server controlled by the hackers. On Nov. 24, Trustwave researchers tracked that server, located in the Netherlands. They discovered compromised credentials for more than 93,000 websites. Sounds like everybody better get to changing their passwords quick fast and in a hurry..
Maria Kang, the controversial online force also known as “Fit Mom,” was temporarily kicked off Facebook last week after a fat-shaming rant. Kang wrote a post about positive media coverage of an online group that’s encouraging plus-size women to post photos of themselves in lingerie. The group’s goal is to show what “real women” look like . Maria Kang , who caused controversy this year by posting a photo of her toned self with her kids and the tagline “What’s Your excuse?” was not impressed. Fit Mom Banned From Facebook Maria wrote on Facebook that she was “starting to get annoyed” at all the attention this was getting, then criticized the high obesity rates in the U.S. “We keep blaming the culprit (school lunches, fast food) when real change starts at home,” wrote Kang, upset that she, conversely, took heat for being so fit. Kang, who said that she aims to inspire , not shame, is nonetheless proud of how she looks and unwilling to apologize for her fitness commitment. “People made me feel bad about a picture of me and my children,” said Kang, who fears coverage of the lingerie group is “normalizing” obesity. “When you see someone who is healthy it’s almost so shocking,” she laments. “We’ve gone to a point where we’re normalizing [a health] crisis.” Kang says “we need to change this strange mentality we are breeding in the U.S.” and “start celebrating people who are a result of hard work, dedication and discipline.” After Kang put the post on Facebook it was flagged by a reader, and the social media site removed it, calling it “hate speech,” KGO-TV reports. Soon after it banned Kang, Facebook then said the post had been taken down by mistake and reinstated Kang’s access to the social media site. According to KGO, Kang’s original post was not reposted. Kang wrote another message reiterating that she didn’t want to shame overweight people but that she believes some people celebrate unhealthy habits. “I think you should love yourself,” she told ABC News . Paul Walker is dead after a fiery, single-car accident and explosion in California Saturday. The driver of the car lost control and both men passed away. A rep for the actor confirmed the tragedy on his official Facebook page. He was only 40, and Walker leaves behind 15-year-old daughter Meadow. The Fast & The Furious star’s final act was a charity event for his organization, Reach Out Worldwide. It was at this event where Paul Walker died . Whether you were a friend, a co-worker or just a fan, everybody loved Paul. That much is obvious from the outpouring of sadness that followed his untimely death.
