Bill Cosby has mostly been in the news recently for allegedly drugging and molesting over 30 different women. Now he’s coming forward to thank Eddie Murphy who rejected an offer to impersonate Cosby during the SNL 40 reunion show. Every time Bill Cosby googles himself these days, he just keeps on getting bad news ( two more women accused him of drugging/abusing them just this week). So yeah … more bad news. It was probably nice, from Cosby’s point of view, that his fellow comedian Eddie Murphy declined the opportunity to lampoon Cosby during the SNL taping earlier this week. Cosby said via a spokesman , “I am very appreciative of Eddie and I applaud his actions.” The action he’s applauding here is Eddie’s in -action during the SNL 40 show. Instead, Cosby’s former cast-mate, Kenan Thompson did the impression of Cosby during the Celebrity Jeopardy bit. This is the second time a major comedian has come to Cosby’s aide. Roseanne Bar also recently said she’s pulling for him and hoping that he can ” make it right .” Of course, nobody is claiming he’s innocent, although he has yet to be officially charged by a court of law. Cosby really is a sacred cow within the comedy community, if allegedly raping over 30 women can’t even get him a little bit of ribbing during a sketch show. Cosby has famously refused to defend himself against the allegations. But he “applauds” Eddie Murphy’s actions? Mo’Nique gave a career changing performance in the 2009 movie Precious, as Mary, the abusive mother of the film’s star Gabourey Sidibe. But now she says that she’s lost a number of other big roles because she’s apparently too difficult to work with. In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Mo’Nique says that she was offered roles by the producers of Empire AND director Lee Daniels, I was offered the role in The Butler that Oprah Winfrey played. I was also approached by Empire to be on Empire. And I was also offered the role as Richard Pryor’s grandmother in [Daniels’ upcoming Pryor biopic]. Each of those things that he offered me was taken off the table. (Laughs.) They all just went away. But that’s just part of the business, you know? I can’t be upset at anybody, ’cause life is too good. It’s just what it is. Mo’Nique is vague about exactly what it is she does that made the roles dry up. She quotes a conversation between her and Lee Daniels, I got a phone call from Lee Daniels maybe six or seven months ago. And he said to me, “Mo’Nique, you’ve been blackballed.” And I said, “I’ve been blackballed? Why have I been blackballed?” And he said, “Because you didn’t play the game.” And I said, “Well, what game is that?” And he gave me no response. What “game” they’re referring to? Us mere mortals may never know, but apparently Mo’Nique is too cool to play it. It’s been over two weeks since Bobbi Kristina Brown was found unconscious in her bathtub in her Atlanta area home. The cause of the 21-year-old’s near-drowning is still unknown, but both drug use and foul play are among the possibilities being investigated by authorities. There were rumors that Bobbi Kristina was spending $5,000 a week on drugs in recent months, and unspecified narcotics were found in her home, though not in the room where she was discovered. Now, more evidence that may point to a drug-related mishap has emerged, as Radar Online is reporting that one of Bobbi Kristina’s best friends died of a heroin overdose less than a year ago, and Brown may have been associated with the three men who have been arrested in connection with her death. Chelsea Bennett passed away from an overdose back in March, and her death has been ruled a homicide, as she was allegedly injected by someone else, and she was left unconscious for more than ten hours before someone finally dialed 911. Given the fact that Bobbi was reportedly “best friends” with Bennett and maintained ties with the men who were charged in her death, it’s understandable that many are wondering if the unsavory figures currently under suspicion in Brown’s near-drowning might have employed similar tactics in order to maintain the appearance of an accidental overdose. Bobbi’s longtime partner Nick Gordon is under investigation and has apparently refused to speak with police unless he is placed under arrest. We may never know for certain what exactly caused Bobbi Kristina to lose consciousness while bathing on January 31, and this latest development may only serve to further confuse this increasingly tragic story. Son Of Former Chicago Bears Player Adrian Peterson Dies Of Cancer So sad. Former NFL player Adrian Peterson (of the Bears rather than the Vikings) has lost his son to an inoperable brain tumor . Via WSBtv : The 7-year-old son of former Chicago Bears running back and Georgia Southern standout Adrian Peterson passed away on Tuesday following his battle with brain cancer. He made the announcement on social media Tuesday. “#Ajsoars is in Heaven, where he belongs…#ajsoars #P3 #MyFirstSuperHero,” Peterson posted on his Facebook page Tuesday morning. He was diagnosed in June 2014, when he was just 6 years old. The Peterson family received an outpouring of support through social media, as they publicly documented the young boy’s heath struggles. Since leaving the NFL, Adrian Peterson has devoted his life to helping others. The Adrian Peterson Foundation is a nonprofit foundation that helps needy children. The internet community returned the favor, raising more than $40,000 for A.J.’s medical expenses in just the past 7 months. In February 2015, AJ was named an honorary officer with the Round Lake Police Department in a ceremony with Round Lake police and Make-A-Wish. Peterson was a star running back for Georgia Southern from 1998-2001, and played for the Chicago Bears from 2002-2009. It was reported last week that Nick Gordon is under investigation for possible involvement in the near-drowning of Bobbi Kristina Brown. Sources say police began to take an interest in Gordon after doctors reported finding injuries on Bobbi Kristina’s face and mouth. Shortly thereafter, insiders claimed that Bobbi Kristina had been planning to leave Gordon in the weeks before she was found unconscious, and that the couple was the subject of a 911 call days before the near-fatal incident. So it’s not hard to see why investigators have taken an interest in Gordon, the problem is, Gordon has reportedly been avoiding them by whatever means necessary. “At this point, Nick hasn’t been interviewed, and is under no obligation to do so,” one source tells Radar Online. The insider adds that police “very much want to talk to Nick for obvious reasons,” but he’s been informed by his legal team that he can’t be forced to talk to police unless they place him under arrest. Bobbi Kristina’s family reportedly believes that he played some role in her near-drowning. They have banned Gordon from the home he shared with Bobbi , and they may have prevented him from visiting her in the hospital. Though Gordon claimed to be legally married to Bobbi, it now looks as though that was not actually the case. He may still stand to benefit from her will, however, which is just one of the many reasons he remains a suspect in the eyes of Bobbi’s family.

With all the shirtless shenanigans Justin Bieber’s gotten into over the years, it’s easy to forget about stuff like the time Justin was arrested for egging his neighbor’s house . That’s a promo for the upcoming Comedy Central Roast of Justin Bieber, which will feature the swaggy Canuck being verbally eviscerated by a variety of talented comedians…and Jeff Ross. When it comes to the Biebs, there’s a lot to make fun of, so it must have been hard to pick just one embarrassing incident to mock in the first promo. Of course, a spot that poked fun at Bieber’s arrest for drunken drag-racing probably wouldn’t have the same comedic effect. Anyone who’s seen these roast specials knows that they can get pretty ugly, so it’ll be interesting to find out if JB is able to keep his cool throughout the proceedings. There might not be enough weed in the SoCal area to keep Bieber apathetically glassy-eyed once Kevin Hart and company start reminding him that he’s not actually a real OG from he hood. So we’ll be eagerly looking forward to March 30 and placing bets on whether or not Justin will trow a tantrum.
