The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star posted a (tiny) picture to Instagram yesterday, writing online after spending time at the San Diego Zoo with her daughter: “No make up kinda weekend.” Kardashian has been all about her looks these days. More than a year after giving birth to North West, she keeps complaining about the 15-20 pounds of baby weight she has to lose. Even more annoyingly, she’s now being paid a large sum of money to shill for a ridiculous weight loss corset, actually telling fans to go buy some device called Whats a Waist despite the fact that one SHOULD have a waist. It’s totally normal and Kim is setting a terrible example for women by focusing so much on extreme weight loss. So let’s hope this no makeup photo is the start of Kardashian going in the opposite direction, of her telling fans they ought to be happy with who they are and how they look. The couple kept the news that Mendes is pregnant out of the tabloids for an astonishing seven months, and according to reports, having Ryan run all the errands was an important part of keeping Eva’s baby bump under wraps. “Their lives completely changed as soon as Eva got pregnant,” a source tells People magazine. “They used to travel all over the place together and go on hikes with their dogs.” As soon as Mendes began showing, however, she reportedly holed up in Gosling’s LA apartment and “barely left the house.” Ryan waited on Eva hand and foot during this difficult time and aside from a few suspicious instances (such as when Eva was a no-show at the Cannes Film Festival where her and Gosling’s film, Lost River , premiered) the couple seamlessly pulled off one of the great celeb cover-ups in recent memory.
