My name is Frankie and the fact that I’m sitting down to write My Bieber Experience… the fact that I have one, is absolutely surreal. I guess my journey started back when tickets went on sale for the My World Tour. At the time, I couldn’t afford even the nose bleed seats and was completely crushed that I wasn’t going to be able to see Justin in concert. But a few days before the Cleveland show, my dad told me that he might be able to get us some meet and greet passes and tickets through a guy he knew. I was so excited until the deal fell through. For the longest time I just never believed that I’d get to see Justin perform especially when the Believe Tour didn’t make any stops near Ohio during its first leg. Well once I saw that he was coming back to Cleveland on July 13, I waited 9 anxiety ridden days to do pre-sale and by the grace of God, pulled up the VIP Meet & Greet Experience seats on the first try! After I bought them, I just stared at my computer screen and cried for a bit trying to comprehend what was going to happen. Not only was I going to see Justin 5th row in concert, but I was going to meet him! It’s still insane to think about. Flash forward 206 days later and I was literally up at 3 AM the day of the show. I was so excited, I couldn’t sleep. I got to the venue around 4 PM and became friends with some amazing girls who I spent the majority of the evening with. We all sat together at the pre-show party just eating and gossiping about Justin. Then our VIP host Ryan came out and began to tell us some of the rules for the meet and greet and explained that he was finally able to convince the staff to let us all take individuals photos with Justin. I instantly started hyperventilating at the table unable to wrap my mind around the fact that I didn’t have to share my time with him. It would be just me and Justin. Justin was running super behind schedule so once we made it down to the meet and greet area we ended up waiting there for an hour or so and we all started singing One Time, Baby, and Boyfriend. A few minutes later Justin pulls back the curtain, rides up on his segway and screams, “Stop that!” then disappears with that little smirk on his face. Oh my God, it was soooo cute! The meet and greet itself was so short and quick but seriously some of the most amazing seconds of my life. I walked inside and just starred at him for a moment. He seriously looks like a doll. I don’t think pictures do him justice. He’s just so attractive and flawless. Ugh. Perfection in its finest form. We exchanged hello’s and took our photo. There are no words to describe how incredible it feels to be in Justin’s arms. It was honestly like the world stopped. No matter how many times I stare at our photo together, I don’t think it’ll ever sink in completely. The show itself was absolutely mind blowingly phenomenal. My friend and I originally had 5th row seats but the father of one of our new friends graciously gave us his two extra front row seats just as the 10 minute countdown started. Even though I was in a sold out arena full of screaming people, being that close felt so intimate and so special. I got sprayed by foam that shot from the blasters, felt heat from the flames, and even almost burned my eye when sparks fell from the ceiling. Again, it was perfect and magical and I still cannot believe that it all actually happened. I have been a Belieber since the very beginning and if Justin has taught me anything, it truly is to believe in yourself. Believe in your dreams and never say never. Don’t let anyone tell you you can’t do something or that you can’t get what you want, because you can! Thank you Justin for the most magical night of my life. Treasury Secretary Says Federal Bailout Funds Won’t Be Used For Detroit The federal government has made it clear that they have no intention of extending a monetary olive branch to the state of Detroit in the midst of their bankruptcy woes. Despite the fact that the government famously bailed out the “Too Big To Fail” banks and the auto industry during the height of the most recent U.S. recession back in 2010, Treasury Secretary Jack Lew says Detroit is on their own this time. Think Progress On CNN’s State of the Union show on Sunday, Treasury Secretary Jack Lew was firm in saying that there will be no federal bailout for the city of Detroit, which is going through the largest city bankruptcy in America’s history. While claiming that the administration “stand[s] by Detroit,” Lew said, “I think the issues Detroit has in terms of problems with its creditors it’s going to have to work out with its creditors.” He said that it has “serious financial problems” that have “been a long time in the making,” and that the federal government will only offer “the kinds of normal programs the federal government has” such as the Treasury Department making funds available to take down blighted properties. When host Candy Crowley asked why the government offered bailouts for big banks and the auto industry but isn’t offering one here, Lew responded, “I think the situation we had in 2009 and 2010 was unique and something that hopefully we will never see again.” We think this is pretty shady, especially considering the fact that the government all but forced-fed some of the banks bailout money during the financial crisis/recession when they adamantly refused. Tonight’s the night! Errr, sort of. Tonight is part one of the “shocking” conclusion to Desiree Hartsock ‘s quest for love as The Bachelorette . Previews have shown all three remaining men, and Des herself, in tears and The Bachelorette spoilers promise a shocking ending! Just which of these eligible bachelors will Desiree choose? Let’s narrow them down now in our THG +/- recap! Des said “fairy tale.” Minus 4. Recap of the entire season after we just recapped the entire season last week during the Men Tell All episode. Minus 10. More of Chris’ awful poetry. Minus 2. More of Drew who, let’s be clear, doesn’t exactly scream straight male in this “for all the right reasons.” Minus 5. And then there’s Brooks. Desiree’s feelings for him are “set apart” from her feelings for the other guys. Everything about this opening says that she chooses him. Everything. Except the fact that he’s apparently unsure of the fact that he’s expected to propose to her at the end of this. So that’s not good. (Or it’s smart and very good because it means he’s serious? Who knows.) They’re in Antigua for the overnight dates and Drew’s date is first. Drew really feels like if they were married and going on vacation, they’d definitely be doing things like going to Antigua and hanging with the locals. And doing the limbo. (But not, perhaps, the horizontal mambo?) They head down a trail for a picnic overlooking the water and talk about his family and hometown date. Bringing her home to meet his family and his sister was one of the happiest day of his life. Drew calls Desiree his “soul mate” and hopes tonight will be the night he can tell her. The show cuts to commercial with the two of them kissing. When it returns, they’re still kissing. Plus 12. Because of the rain, she takes him to the fantasy suite and then gives him an invitation to the fantasy suite. An invitation which he accepts. Plus 4. Drew tells her he’s ready to propose to her that night. Then he tells the camera crew it’s time to leave. It strikes me just how awkward it is that she can invite all of the men to the fantasy suite on consecutive nights. Isn’t that a deal breaker for any of them? So, so awkward. But hey, what happens in the fantasy suite, right? Brooks needs to go home to visit his family before he can go on an overnight with Desiree. He’s not to the point yet where he can tell Desiree he loves her because he doesn’t know if he loves her. He’s uncomfortable with the idea of proposing to her at the end of this and can’t answer the question “do you love Desiree” without feeling like he’s saying something wrong. His sister says if he’s at this point and he can’t say it, he knows the answer he’s looking for. He gets quiet. Brooks has a tough week ahead of him. Chris, however, is ready to go on his date with Desiree. He’s “truly, madly, deeply” in love with her. Plus 5 . They take a helicopter ride to see the island and he says he has no doubt that they’re sharing the same feelings of love together. He’s so…syrupy sweet. Nice make out session in the waves in their swim suits which is something that just doesn’t happen because SAND IN THE BATHING SUIT. Minus 13. It doesn’t rain out their dinner, so they get to eat and have a conversation about the future. Which Desiree awkwardly brings up. He’s found a job he really likes in Seattle. And he’d like to raise a family in Seattle. But he doesn’t know if Desiree wants to be in Seattle. She’s willing to make the sacrifice for the person she loves and would definitely be down with moving to Seattle. Plus 8. They talk about making eye contact over dinner and she gives him the fantasy suite invitation. He thinks the suite is a great opportunity to spend more time with her and…watch the stars. Is that what the kids are calling it these days? He wrote her another poem. This one tells her that he’s ready to spend his life with her forever and ever. As long as they can watch the stars. Minus 7 Gratuitous shot of Desiree in a bikini getting dressed. Minus 25. Finally, Brooks has made it to Antigua for his date with Desiree. Her feelings for him are deeper than her feelings for the other guys and she’s not just falling in love with him. She’s in love. Before their date, Brooks sits down with Chris Harrison. Brooks’ head tells him he’s in love with her, but his heart doesn’t. He doesn’t want to jump into this because it’s a big deal. Chris asks “are you not sure, or are you telling me I’m not in love with this girl” and Brooks goes “hmm. I don’t know.” Brooks has thought about everything and he doesn’t think he’s going to feel it if he doesn’t feel it yet. Desiree isn’t the love of his life. But he has this crazy love for her. But she’s not the one. He’s ready to commit, but not to Des. Chris tells him to man up. If he’s going to break Desiree’s heart it’s better that he does it sooner rather than later. After all, she’ll have to pick her second choice dude to fill Brooks’ shoes. It’s time for him to go and meet Desiree and he’s got to stop off and cry under a tree first. Desiree thinks today is going to be stress free, no worries. Ehhhh…. He’s crying as he walks up and asks her to go have a talk with him. He loves that they had such an amazing first date. And that she’s a much better person than he is. And she can see the writing on the wall that this is a break-up and not a profession of love. He really wants to be madly in love with her, but…she starts to cry and he begs her not to cry. WHY DO MEN DO THAT? Minus 100. She can’t even look at him and she asks the question “why now?” He tells her he didn’t know. He thought more time would make it happen. Through tears, she says “I love you.” And he wants to know why she didn’t say it earlier. She says she did with their silly running, skipping, jumping analogy, but apparently he failed that part of school. She’s never felt completely loved by anyone in her life. He tries to soothe her broken heart with “I do care about you.” He doesn’t think doing anything differently would have changed things and keeps talking. She tells him to just stop talking because it’s just breaking her heart more to rehash it all. Minus 35. In his one-on-one, he says he didn’t want to leave her and he didn’t expect to feel that. He didn’t expect to want to stay with her. After continuing to say how sorry he is, he asks if they can just walk for a little bit. She says she wanted him to meet her family and he asks her what she’s going to do now. He doesn’t know where she was with the other guys. Best exchange of the night: Brooks: I’m sorry. I’ll shut up. I’m not helping. Desiree: No. Not at all. Whatever mascara Desiree’s wearing? It really lives up to its waterproof claims. Brooks stops to cry by some more trees while Desiree’s salty tears find new homes in the ocean. Brooks misses all of the moments he and Desiree shared already. He was banking on the fact that she was more in love with one of the other guys and his breaking her heart wouldn’t be quite so devastating. He was wrong. EPISODE TOTAL: -172 SEASON TOTAL: +238

Somewhereinamerica Hov is still very rich… Dame Dash Hit With Two Million Dollar Tax Lien Via TMZ reports: Damon Dash probably wishes he still had Jay-Z on speed dial … because the cesspool of debt he’s wading in just got worse … he’s been slapped with a $2.8 MILLION TAX BILL. Dash — who co-founded Roc-A-Fella Records and Rocawear with Jay — has been open about the fact that he’s drowning in debt … despite the fact that at one time he was half-king of a multi-million-dollar business. Now, his financial problems have worsened. Uncle Sam filed a federal tax lien against Dash, claiming he needs to cough up some un-paid tax cash for the years 2005 and 2011. The breakdown: 2005: $2,614,918.10 2011: $187,544.20 Grand total: $2,802,262.30 … i.e. a whole lotta cheddar. The 2005 bill is clearly larger … which makes sense considering Hov and Dash parted ways back in 2004 — meaning in 2005, he was probably still raking in some major-taxable bucks. 2011 … not so much. FYI — Dash has said he owes millions in back taxes to the State of NY and NJ and claims he’s lost multiple properties to foreclosure. My name is Ludovica, I’m 15 years old and I live in Rome, Italy . About two months have almost passed from when I accomplished my dream, and only today I have decided to write my Bieber experience. Everything started July 7th 2012 when they were putting tickets on sale for the Italiano date of the Believe Tour. I immediately bought a ticket and my heart was full of joy. 4 days later, I heard that they put VIP tickets on sale. I was amazed that they cost so much. I talked to my mother and my father and they immediately told me, “NO,” during the beginning of lunch. At the end, they surrendered, and let me get meet & greets shortly after. I bursted into cries of happiness, my dream would be coming true after 300 days, and after 4 years of supporting him. The days passed, and finally we approached the night of the concert, March 23rd 2013. Earlier, my parents and I departed from Rome to go to Bologna the before. I won’t ever forget the joy and anxiety that I had in my heart that day. On March 23, I was very tense, nervous and my heart beat a thousand beats. After getting ready and eating before hand, they finally made us go in line to meet Justin, and divided us into groups. While I was being in line surrounded by beliebers, I saw Kenny and Justin’s grandparents. Then I saw a boy that turned on a segaway, tears of joy went out of my eyes, it was him, I had just seen my idol. As I had anticipated, they divided us in groups from 5/6 people and then they made us enter one by one into the room. It was my turn. As the curtain opened and I saw him, the first thing that I noticed they were the tattoos and the fact that he wore both glasses and a hat. He welcomed me with his sweet voice saying, “Hi sweetie.” I didn’t even have the time to place my purse and jacket that I found me to his side, ready to unsheathe the most beautiful usual smile. Everything was ended in 20 seconds, the words jammed in my throat and the only thing that I succeeded in pronouncing was, “Thank you.” Justin looked me with a smile on the face while I was going out of the room. I will keep on believing in the ‘Never Say Never.’ Sooner or later I will hug him, I’m sure of it. The concert was amazing and the fact to hear his voice in person other than earphones is a beautiful thing.
