The search for Christopher Dorner is officially over. The San Bernardino Sheriff’s Department has released a statement that confirms the ex-LAPD officer was shot and killed by police on Tuesday during a standoff in Big Bear, CA. It reads: “The charred human remains located in the burned out cabin in Seven Oaks have been positively identified to be that of Christopher Dorner.” Authorities had been after Dorner for days after he allegedly murdered three people earlier in the month and also posted messages on Facebook that threatened the lives of other police officers and their families. Dorner’s corpse was identified through his dental records.
Gook luck getting your money… O.J. Simpson Still Owes Over $500K In Back Taxes Via TMZ reports : O.J. Simpson may be rotting behind bars, but it doesn’t mean he can skate on his taxes … so says the IRS, who just slapped him with yet ANOTHER tax lien. According to a federal lien filed in December, O.J. failed to cough up $17,015.99 in taxes for the year 2011. This makes for the THIRD lien filed against him in the last 12 months. As TMZ first reported, Uncle Sam filed a lien for $179,435.07 for the years 2007-2010 and the State of California says he still owes $318,566.04 for the year 2000. Tax debt total = $515,017.10. And don’t forget … he still owes MILLIONS to the families of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman for that whole double murder thing. Better keep pounding those license plates. Time for the state of California to start garnishing OJ prison earnings.

Two people were killed and at least eight others injured in a shooting spree outside the Empire State Building this morning. A 53-year old named Jeffrey Johnson , who was shot to death by police on the scene, is suspected of starting the incident in due to a dispute with a former coworker. In response to the tragedy, a myriad of celebrities have expressed shock and remorse over Twitter. Dane Cook has apologized for being an insensitive jerk bag. On Thursday night, the unfunny stand-up comedian joked that people inside the Aurora, Colorado movie theater last week were probably wishing they’d be shot because The Dark Knight Rises is such a bad movie. Shockingly, anyone with an ounce of sympathy and intelligence came down hard on Cook, prompting him to write the following on Twitter:
“Speaking on behalf of the cast and crew of The Dark Knight Rises , I would like to express our profound sorrow at the senseless tragedy that has befallen the entire Aurora community. I would not presume to know anything about the victims of the shooting but that they were there last night to watch a movie. I believe movies are one of the great American art forms and the shared experience of watching a story unfold on screen is an important and joyful pastime. The movie theatre is my home, and the idea that someone would violate that innocent and hopeful place in such an unbearably savage way is devastating to me. Nothing any of us can say could ever adequately express our feelings for the innocent victims of this appalling crime, but our thoughts are with them and their families.” [via ABC ]
