Brian Lancaster Dies; Former Road Rules Star Was 43

Brian Lancaster, a reality star best known for having been a cast member on Season 7 of Road Rules, was found dead in his Pennsylvania home last Thursday. He was 43 years old. According to TMZ insiders, Lancaster had a history arrhythmia (that is, irregular heartbeats) and his family believes he passed away from heart failure. Lancaster competed on Road Rules: Latin America back he was 23. This season of the widely-viewed adventure reality series found Lancaster competing in missions across Mexico, Costa Rica and the United States. On its website, the DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home in West Chester, Pennsylvania shared an obituary for Lancaster. It described him as a “jack of many trades, including advertising account manager, telecommunications project manager, special education teacher, bartender, and reality TV star.” His relatives tell TMZ the death was not drug or alcohol related. Police will likely investigate but, as far as his loved ones know, there were no foreign substances found inside Brian’s home. Out of respect for Lancaster (pictured below in the latest photo we can find of him), we’re going to simply excerpt other portions of his obituary: In his formal education, Brian graduated from University of Colorado Boulder with a B.A. in Journalism, Public Relations and Advertising and graduated from Eastern University with a Master’s degree in Elementary Education. He would tell you though that his real education came from examining life endeavoring to become “well sharp” in order to chop through life’s challenges. Although not actually Jamaican himself, Brian was long entranced by their culture and proudly sported excellent dreadlocks. A spiritual explorer, dreamy stargazer, inquisitive world traveler and barstool philosopher who enjoyed a good mind meld, Brian excelled at being a human being rather than a human doing.  Constant in his soul and spirit, he would share possessions, thoughts and every part of his essence with anyone who came into his orbit. Brian, who was also known as Chilly Willy, Lanc, Dawg and Briana, never knew a stranger and was a connoisseur and collector of an eclectic assortment of friends ranging from 18-97. He was a consummate hugger, professional cuddler, iconoclast and master bullshitter who was extremely accident prone. Ever the authority shirker he was well-known for crossing lines and pushing the envelope. As you can tell by these passages, Lancaster was a unique individual. He is survived by his fiancee Sarah J. Bell and his parents Dennis and Carol Lancaster and he will be greatly missed. A private service was held in memory of Lancaster on Wednesday for his friends and family members. View Slideshow: 28 Reality Stars Who Died Way Too Young The obituary also notes that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Lancaster’s name may be made to the Brandywine Valley SPCA, a no-kill shelter in Chester and Delaware County, where Lancaster adopted his faithful companion, Reagan. Pretty admirable. This, sadly, is not the first tragedy to hit the Road Rules cast over the past several months. If you recall, Danny Dias died in June of 2017 at the even younger age of 33. Toward the end of Lancaster’s obituary, meanwhile, it reads: View Slideshow: Celebrities Who Died in 2018: In Memoriam Because he couldn’t be sent to space or have his head cryogenically frozen he will have to settle with living on forever as ashes in the earth, just the way he wanted. Amen. May he rest in peace.

Michael B. Jordan, Tessa Thompson And Sylvester Stallone Are Back At It Again With ‘CREED II’

Gilbert Carrasquillo/Getty Images) Ryan Coogler Executive Producing ‘Creed II’ Michael B. Jordan and Ryan Coogler JUST finished promoting ‘Black Panther’ together and now they are back together again working on ‘Creed II’ Jordan headed back into production on ‘Creed II’ this Monday alongside Tessa Thompson and Sylvester Stallone who are also reprising their roles in the Metro Goldwyn Mayer Pictures and Warner Bros. Pictures sequel. In case you missed the first film, Creed II is the continuation of the Rocky saga and sequel to the 2015 critically acclaimed and crowd-pleasing 2015 hit Creed, which took in more than $170 million at the worldwide box office. Coogler, who directed the first film, returns to the franchise as an executive producer on Creed II, while the new film is being directed by Steven Caple Jr., who helmed the acclaimed 2016 drama The Land. “When I wrote and directed Creed, I wanted to tell a human story about a family from a new perspective, while also paying homage to the Rocky characters we’ve all grown up knowing and loving. I’ve known Steven was an amazing filmmaker since our days at USC film school together, so I can’t wait to see what he, Sly, Mike and Tessa bring to this next chapter,” said Coogler. Caple Jr. said, “It’s an honor to be a part of the franchise and work with such a thoughtful team. I got involved because I’ve always been a Rocky fan and I enjoy stories with heart and substance. But when Ryan put his touch on Creed I felt another level of connection to the franchise. It started to feel personal for many different reasons. This next Creed is a tale beyond the boxing ring and dives deeps into family, legacy, and fears. I’m excited to share my view and collaborate with the talented cast and crew.” “Ryan and Steven are voices for their generation and their shared vision for Creed has brought the Rocky franchise to an entirely new audience. We know audiences will continue to embrace the legacy that Sly created so many years ago,” said producer Irwin Winkler. Here’s a synopsis of the sequel: Life has become a balancing act for Adonis Creed. Between personal obligations and training for his next big fight, he is up against the challenge of his life. Facing an opponent with ties to his family’s past only intensifies his impending battle in the ring. Rocky Balboa is there by his side through it all and, together, Rocky and Adonis will confront their shared legacy, question what’s worth fighting for, and discover that nothing’s more important than family. Creed II is about going back to basics to rediscover what made you a champion in the first place, and remembering that, no matter where you go, you can’t escape your history. Also reprising their roles from the first film are Tessa Thompson as Bianca, Phylicia Rashad as Mary Anne, Wood Harris as Tony ‘Little Duke’ Burton, and Andre Ward as Danny ‘Stuntman’ Wheeler. The new cast is rounded out with Florian “The Big Nasty” Munteanu as Viktor Drago, Dolph Lundgren returning to the role of Ivan Drago, and Russell Hornsby as Buddy Marcelle. Creed II will be distributed theatrically in the U.S. by MGM on November 21, 2018, and Warner Bros. Pictures will distribute the film internationally. Caple Jr. directs from an original screenplay written by Stallone based on characters from the Rocky franchise. The film is produced by Irwin Winkler, Charles Winkler, William Chartoff, David Winkler, Kevin King-Templeton and Stallone. Coogler, Jordan and Guy Riedel will executive produce.

Ryan Edwards Threatens to MURDER Maci Bookout’s Husband?!

Ryan Edwards … what can we say, the guy is an absolute mess right now. Between his recent arrest, his problems with wife Mackenzie Standifer, and what many people think is a relapse, things aren't as good as they could be, that's for sure. And with the orders of protection Maci Bookout recently filed against him for herself and her family, he's falling even further in his downward spiral. We've heard a few details of the kinds of things Ryan's been doing that made Maci feel the need to take the matter to court, but this latest little tidbit of information? It's easy to see why Maci is taking action. 1. Where to Start? So, uh, yeah, it’s not the greatest time to be Ryan Edwards right now, huh? 2. What a Mess Things have been unravelling very very quickly for him since last week, when we heard the news that he’d been arrested for violating the terms of his probation. 3. … Probation? Right, because apparently he was arrested last year for having heroin in his possession and somehow, some way, nobody heard about it. He was on probation for that, and he did something last week to mess it up, so he was arrested again. 4. Come On, Mack Mackenzie claims that the arrest was no big deal, that it was one of the terms of his probation that he’d have to be booked, but that doesn’t make sense. Why would he be handcuffed at his home a year after the original arrest, taken down to the police station, and held there for several hours until his family bailed him out if it was just some formality? 5. What’s the Truth? Some reports have said that Ryan violated his probation by missing a mandatory drug test, but again, that doesn’t make sense — a big issue he’s had with Maci for a while now is that she wants him to take a drug test before he sees their son but he doesn’t want to do it. Why would it even need to be an argument if he was already taking the tests for his probation? 6. Hmmm … We don’t have all the details yet, but he was on probation, he messed it up somehow, and now his whole entire life is falling apart. View Slideshow

Stacey Dash Quits Congressional Campaign

Source: Amanda Edwards / Getty Stacey Dash   announced that she’s given up her run for congress. Just weeks after she revealed her aspirations to become a U.S. congresswoman, the actress has changed her mind. “After much prayer, introspection and discussions with my family, I am withdrawing my candidacy for California’s 44th Congressional District,” Stacey said in an email to CNN . The former Fox News commentator explained that she began her congressional bid with the best of intentions. “I started this run with the intention to address the pressing issues in the district where I live,” she added “I hoped, and remain hopeful, that I can assist people living here on the national level. My goal was, and remains, to improve the lives of people who have been forgotten for decades by the Democratic Party.” Stacy was running to represent an area of California that includes cities like Compton, Watts, San Pedro, and North Long Beach. These areas have always leaned democratic. They have a long history of voting in democratic in congressional elections (they’re currently represented by Nannette Barragán), and 83% of the population there voted for Hillary Clinton in 2016. However, Stacey has been a very vocal conservative republican, so we can’t imagine who would have voted for the Clueless star in California’s 44th district. It’s not exactly her base. Stacey said that she’s choosing to lay down her campaign to focus on her family. Bye Bihhh: Human Pop-Up Ad Stacey Dash Withdraws From California Congressional Race

Jennifer Lourie/FilmMagic Stacey Dash Pulls Out Of Congressional Race One Month After Joining Well good riddance! Stacey Dash , who hasn’t done anything productive in life since her role in Clueless , is withdrawing her congressional bid, a representative for the actress confirmed to CNN on Friday. “After much prayer, introspection and discussions with my family, I am withdrawing my candidacy for California’s 44th Congressional District,” she said in an email statement to CNN. The news comes only one month after the outspoken Republican filed paperwork to run.  “I started this run with the intention to address the pressing issues in the district where I live. I hoped, and remain hopeful, that I can assist people living here on the national level. My goal was, and remains, to improve the lives of people who have been forgotten for decades by the Democratic Party.” Well, alrighty then, ma’am.  Dash also added, “At this point, I believe that the overall bitterness surrounding our political process, participating in the rigors of campaigning, and holding elected office would be detrimental to the health and wellbeing of my family. I would never want to betray the personal and spiritual principles I believe in most: that my God and my family come first.” The district she was going to run for includes Compton, Watts, San Pedro and North Long Beach, which has long been represented by a Democrat–it overwhelmingly voted for Hillary Clinton in 2016, 83. Stacey says she pulled out of the race for the well being of her family but, for once, we have to thank her for withdrawing too. Even though she would have lost anyway, which would have been incredibly satisfying. Either way….byyyeeee bihhh!!
