B en Carson  is the seriously unqualified secretary of  Department of Housing and Urban Development. The former doctor has been a complete disaster in the role — he has been protested for attempting to take away fair housing from low-income people and he’s been accused of ethic violations for his family’s involvement at HUD. Not to mention, his staff has time to attack NewsOne and even April Ryan . That said, according to conservative commentator Armstrong Williams on The Daily Signal podcast , Ben Carson is having a “positive influence” on President Trump . Here is our response: Williams went on a delusional rant about the “remarkable” job Ben Carson is doing at HUD. And even had the nerve to say if Jesus were among us today, “Dr. Carson would be one of his disciples.” However, Williams hit a new low in the sunken place when he claims he told Carson, “‘I need you in the President’s ear talking about morality, talking about goodness’ — because he and the President have a very good relationship. I think that whether people see it or not, Dr. Carson has a very calming effect on the president. I think it’s very impactful. I think of all the things that will be said when Trump is no longer in the White House, I think the story will be told about the impact Dr. Carson’s relationship had on the President’s character, on his morality.” In what ways has Carson been a positive influence? When Trump said “shithole” countries about Haiti and the entire continent of Africa? When he attacked Jay Z , Jemele Hill , Oprah , Maxine Waters , Colin Kaepernick and  countless others? When Trump blamed the Parkland shooting on mental health when survivors are screaming for gun control? Even outside of his rhetoric, which is far from Christ-like, how about giving tax breaks to the rich, potentially cutting food stamps to a box of rations, dismantling healthcare for millions of Americans? Furthermore, how can a so-called Christian co-sign a man who has been accused of sexual misconduct by over a dozen women and reportedly paid off porn stars? If this is what Williams considers impactful or positive, then maybe Carson is working for the man downstairs, not the man upstairs. Joh’Vonnie Jackson wasn’t feeling the love in her relationship with her more famous siblings. According to the Daily Mail Joh’Vonnie is ready to tell all in her new book, Bastard Child. Although the public is just finding out about Joh’Vonnie, the Jacksons have known about her for years. But, with a family image to protect, she couldn’t be public about being a Jackson. “I was very aware that I was in the Jackson family growing up, I saw them on TV, I listened to their music,” she told The Daily Mail. “But I was hidden away, kept secret for years, not able to become part of that family. It was hurtful.” Joh’Vonnie is the result of a 25-year affair that Joe had with her mother, Cheryle Terrell . BlackAmericaWeb.com reports that she was born just one day after Michael’s 16th birthday. Despite Joe’s efforts to keep Joh’Vonnie in touch with her siblings, she has never really felt like part of the family. “I have met every single last one of them, but for some reason there has always been something stopping them from accepting me, from being close to me,” she shared. “Of course when I was around them there was a show of love,” she clarified, “but once I was gone there was no phone calls asking how I’m doing or how is my daughter doing, it’s upsetting, real hurtful and I still feel rejected.” Her half siblings also weren’t much comfort when Joh’Vonnie lost her mother a few years ago. Despite their complicated history, one might be surprised to find out who among the Jacksons was the first to offer up their condolences. “Even when my mother died in 2014 the first person who called me was their mother Katherine, the only sibling to call was Rebbie, she’s the only one who really cares,” she said. “I later said to my brother Jermaine, ‘my mother died.’ He started stuttering and said, ‘I was gonna call.’ It was a wake up call,” she added. “It let me know my position in the family. As far as I’m concerned they can all kiss my ass.” Most of all, Michael was particularly distant with her when they met in person. “It was a big moment for me, but Michael was looking at me and seemed cold and standoffish,” Joh’Vonnie recalled. “He never acknowledged that I was his sister, there was no hug or kiss, not even a handshake, no physical contact at all,” she continued, “I wanted to embrace him, I thought that he would wanna go some place quiet and sit and talk with me and ask me about my life and get to know me a little better. It was very hurtful, he wasn’t interested at all.” However, Michael was much more interested in getting to know Joh’Vonnie’s daughter, and that rubbed her the wrong way. “With my daughter, he was totally different, she got hugs and kisses, everything I didn’t get, I’m woman enough to admit I was jealous,” Joh’Vonnie confessed. “I never did get a chance to speak to Michael properly. At the time it was very hurtful, again there was this theme that I felt shut out.” Joh’Vonnie’s daughter, Yasmine, is backing her mother’s decision to share her experience with the Jacksons. On the flip-side, Katherine was much more welcoming to Joh’Vonnie and her daughter despite the affair she was born from. “She was really nice to me, I think she was very hurt at the time of the affair, that’s totally understandable. No woman likes for her husband to go cheating on her and produce a child, it was probably heart-breaking,” said Joh’Vonnie. “But you know she had come out of that, she let me live in her home, me and my daughter, we didn’t have to pay any rent. Amber Portwood Freaks Out: Do I LOOK F–king High?!

Amber Portwood may have moved on in real life, but on reality TV time, she's still on Marriage Boot Camp Reality Stars: Family Edition . In fact, she's still having to shoot down claims that her baby is Matt Baier's . But she's accused of more than that. As you'll see in the Marriage Boot Camp teaser video below, Amber Portwood is accused of being high — and she freaks right out . This season of Marriage Boot Camp Reality Stars: Family Edition , a show that continues to have one heck of a title, got a little unplanned publicity. Why? Because of Amber Portwood. Everyone on the show has some degree of name recognition — I mean, Brandi Glanville's there wearing stars over her nipples (also in the video). But Amber Portwood wasn't what you'd call a “happy camper” … in that the marriage (it was actually an engagement) that she was supposed to be boot camping ended. It wasn't just that the relationship ended at camp. Amber also found someone new … while she was there. Andrew Glennon may have seemed like he just popped into existence out of nowhere. To many fans, anyway. In reality, Andrew actually worked on the show — on Marriage Boot Camp — and he gave Amber Portwood a shoulder to cry on behind the scenes. He apparently gave her some other body parts on which to do other things, however. Because Amber Portwood is pregnant with her second child . And, though the rumor mill continues to suggest that the baby might be Matt Baier's (and we get it — the timing is really close), Andrew Glennon is the father and they're both excited about this new chapter in their lives. But we're getting ahead of ourselves. Right now, in reality television time, Amber is still struggling through her relationship with Matt. We all know that it's doomed to fail now and, quite frankly, most people have known that since they started dating. But it isn't her various issus with Matt that's giving Amber pauses in this video below. Instead, she gets accused of being high — as in, you know, high on drugs. And though it's an accusation that she herself has also made (within the same teaser video), Amber Portwood absolutely freaks out. Various reality stars on the show are arranged in a deeply demeaning “classroom” set-up. (We're not saying that a show like this can't possibly help anyone, but the theatrics for the sake of entertainment value can be deeply insulting, and may even be designed to push them to their limits while the cameras are rolling) Upon hearing the suggestion that she is “still high from two shows ago,” Amber Portwood stands up, furious. “Do I look f–kin' high?!” she exclaims, furious. The tension is palpable. It's no secret that Amber Portwood has struggled with drugs in the past. She has a scary history with addiction. That may be the cause of her ire — for an addict to be accused of being on drugs is a much bigger deal than it would be for someone else, who might merely shrug off the intended insult. Of course, we see Amber respond to multiple things this way — again, just within this very short teaser video. So part of that is just … Amber being Amber. But clearly there are parts of Amber that we're not seeing, because this is the same show where Andrew Glennon fell in love with her.

Jennifer Garner Fights With Ben Affleck in Public, Debuts New Boyfriend!

Rare is the Hollywood actor whose personal life is more dramatic than the roles he plays onscreen. In the case of Ben Affleck, the gap is so wide that we wish he’d put this Batman nonsense to rest and focus on producing a livestreaming, 24-hour, Truman Show -esque documentary about his day-to-day existence. Last week, Ben was in a motorcycle accident  while rushing to meet his family at church. (If that doesn’t sound like a superhero origin story, we don’t know what does.) Now, it seems Jennifer Garner is deeply concerned about Ben’s safety and has strongly encouraged her ex to put the bike on blocks. And by “strongly encouraged,” we mean she went off on him in front of the other soccer moms. Yes, it seems the exes were watching their 5-year-old son Samuel on the field when Jen flipped on Ben seemingly out of nowhere. “She doesn’t want her kids to grow up without a dad,” one insider tells Radar Online. “Jen believes he’s being incredibly childish and selfish,” the source adds. “She believes he needs to start acting more like a dad and less like a kid.” The source adds that the battle of Jen vs. Ben was a mostly one-sided affair. “Jen emptied out on Ben, and he seemed to be on the offensive,” the onlooker claims. “She only seemed to calm down when Samuel got close to them.” It seems part of the reason Garner was so upset is the fact she simply doesn’t approve of Affleck’s relationship with Lindsay Shookus, the SNL producer whom he’s been dating for over a year. “Jen’s fed up with Ben’s behavior – especially since they agreed to divorce,” one insider tells Radar. “She doesn’t like Lindsay and says she’s a bad influence on him.” There’s no word on why Jen doesn’t approve of Lindsay, but it’s not hard to guess. After all, shortly after Affleck and Shookus were spotted drinking together , he checked into rehab for the third time in a year. Apparently, Garner recently went so far as to issue an ultimatum: “She told him to clean up his act or stay away from the kids,” says the source. But just because Jen doesn’t approve of Ben’s new girlfriend, that doesn’t mean she’s not ready to move on herself. Radar recently published photos of Jen on what appears to be a date with an unidentified mystery man. No one seems to have any information on who Jen’s new love interest is, but she certainly seems to be into him! Rob Kardashian Posts Adorable Photo of North & Dream!

Rob Kardashian is back, folks.  After several months of self-imposed exile, Rob has reappeared on social media, and it seems things are going as well as can be expected, considering what a train wreck Rob’s life was last we checked. To recap: following a seriously ugly breakup, Rob posted nude photos of Blac Chyna on Instagram. When that got shut down for very good reason, he moved his revenge porn tirade to Twitter. The only reason Rob isn’t commiserating with Harvey Weinstein right now on the island of predatory pervs is that his revolting actions were carried out before the start of the #MeToo movement. Yes, Rob lucked out again, proving once and for all that he’s the living embodiment of privilege. We’d say he still has a career, but Rob never really had a career to begin with (unless you count those three weeks where he tried to be a sock mogul, which we most certainly do not). Anyway, Rob is doing something of a tentative apology tour these days, dipping his toe back into the social media celebrity pond and seeing what sort of response he gets. Amazingly, he’s being greeted with open arms because, well … see our earlier comment about “the living embodiment of privilege.” Last week, Rob posted a troubling tweet , and while many celebs would have been encouraged to seek help, he was encouraged to share the details of his troubles with his millions of followers. This week, Rob is playing the cute kid card with a photo of his daughter, Dream, hugging her cousin North. Now bear in mind, we’re not dismissing the power of the cute kid card. Dream and North are, in fact, adorable children, and thus, the pics that Rob posted received the expected response. “Awwww GOOD Morning cousin love North & Dream,” he captioned the photo. We’re not saying this a calculated move on Rob’s part as he attempts to slowly work his way back into the spotlight, but … … Actually, we sort of are saying that. The man is Kris Jenner’s son. He doesn’t move his bowels without thinking about how it might affect his brand. But anyway – cute kids in that family. Now keep ’em away from Rob, Kris, and all forms of social media. Daryle Singletary Dies; Country Singer Was 46

Daryle Singletary, a country musician responsible for many popular hits in the 1990s, was found dead on Monday morning at his home near Nashville. He was 46 years old. According to the singer’s publicist, Singletary’s passing was unexpected and sudden. “The cause of death is pending,” his rep told ABC News in a statement, adding: “The family asks for your thoughts and prayers during this time.” Singletary is probably best known to this day for his impressive run of of top-five country tracks in the mid-1990s, including such singles as: “I Let Her Lie” “Too Much Fun” “Amen Kind of Love.” His greatest successes may have taken place years ago, but Singletary remained a frequent performer up until his death. He even took to the stage just this past Friday in Alabama, and did not show any signs of illness or any health difficulties at the time. In response to this unexpected death, many singers and groups from within the country music world took to social media in order to pay their respects. “Heartbroken,” LOCASH shared on Instagram, along with a photo of Singletary, adding online: “Sad Day … We lost our Brother … One of the Greatest Voices in Country Music, A true Legend but an even better Friend, Huntin’ Buddy, Husband, Father & Man. Prayin’ for him and his family.” Craig Campell, meanwhile, posted the following image and wrote the following words: “Sad day…the greatest country voice of my time is now singing in Heaven’s band. Gonna miss you @Darylesing ! Now show them how a good ol country shuffle is supposed to sound!” There was also this from country legend Travis Tritt: “I’m shocked and saddened to hear that Daryle Singletary has passed away. “He was a true country voice and his talent will be sorely missed. Praying for Daryle’s friends and family.” SiriusXm’s The Highway even got in on the mournful act, Tweeting: “This is SiriusXM Music News with breaking news. It has been confirmed to us that Daryle Singletary has died at the age of 46. More information coming soon.” Singletary is survived by his wife Holly, their two sons and their two daughters. Virgin Becomes Pregnant at 29 – Here’s How and Why

A 29-year-old virgin is pregnant with her first child. No, this isn’t one of those things where someone reclaims their virginity — she has genuinely never had sex in any form. A number of people are asking how, exactly, this came to be. Even more are asking why . The how is fairly obvious: Lauren, who hails from a fairly conservative Manitoba community, found a fertility clinic and a sperm donor. It was a little trickier than just that, however. “I was born with hypopituitarism, which means my pituitary gland is not formed properly. It doesn’t send the right hormonal messages to the other glands in the body, like the adrenaline gland or the ovaries.” That meant that she started puberty late. It also meant that she faced some obstacles when it came to fertility. “The hardest thing was probably getting pregnant,” Lauren the 29-year-old virgin tells VICE . “Initially my endocrinologist said it won’t happen, that I’ll need to get an egg donor and spend tens of thousands of dollars on IVF. I felt really shut down.” Eventually, though, she had success using a sperm donor from the fertility clinic. Unlike most she didn’t try the “old fashioned way” of getting pregnant first, but she had her reasons. For starters, she says that dating is … the worst. “People say horrible stuff. I remember when I had an online dating profile the first comment I got was ‘Do you want to come sit on my face?’ For one, does that actually work on anyone? And two, no thank you. People like that turn me away.” You gotta respect people’s boundaries, folks. Just because you would love a direct message (or maybe an unsolicited nude) doesn’t mean that various strangers are up for that as an icebreaker. Lauren, who is due in June, talks about how she’s toyed with the idea of sex, despite not being super interested in dating. “Since I’ve been pregnant there have been a few times where I’ve felt like maybe it would be nice to have someone for that — to go out and have sex…” Not with anyone specific, mind you. “Sometimes, out of curiosity, I think maybe I could try a random hookup, but that feeling very quickly passes — I realize I’m not acting like myself.” hey, some folks aren’t big on hookup culture. “The best possible situation would be with someone I’ve known for awhile. No dinner or anything like that. I’d be strictly seeing what this sex thing is all about.” A lot of people try things like that. Maybe she’d be into it or maybe she wouldn’t. But it doesn’t sound like she’s planning on trying it. “I feel like I would chicken out if there was a big lead-up to it. I’m a fairly anxious person, so I feel like going out to dinner with someone, I would either try to find reasons why I don’t like this person, or try to talk myself out of it.” We’d never tell anyone else what to label themselves, but we can’t help but notice that some of what this woman describes sounds like what you’d expect to hear from someone on the asexual spectrum. Your typical asexual may not particularly desire sex. Some have sex drives, which may strike them as a cosmic joke. Others do not. She says that she has engaged in kissing, much to her chagrin. “I’ve been kissed, very awkwardly. It’s not something I want to relive.” Her interviewer asks her about masturbation, and got a similar answer. “I tried it, and I didn’t really like it. Never did it again.” Some people can’t fathom someone not being interested in sex. Even more people can wrap their heads around finding dating and hookups both equally troublesome, but can’t imagine life without masturbation. If you’re wondering if her virginity is religiously motivated at this point, Lauren says that you couldn’t be further off. “I make jokes about it but basically this is me giving a middle finger to the people who told me I couldn’t do it because I’m not married yet.” It sounds like some people in her life have some very traditional views of how and when you’re supposed to have a child. “It’s the opposite of a religious reason. If you’re telling me I can’t do this, I’m going to do it anyway.” So, if we’re reading that correctly, she may come from one of those religious communities where they’d rather someone have a shotgun wedding than not get married and have a traditional family at all. Hey, good for Lauren for living life by her own terms. As fertility technology improves, people can be awarded greater independence with their reproductive choices. We’re still not over that. But while most of the free world wonders why Kylie and baby daddy Travis Scott would hand down such a moniker to their newborn, Kris Jenner sees something other than controversy affixed to this name: She sees dollar signs. Just last week, Radar Online wrote that family members find the name to be “ridiculous” and: “They just think that it sounds too depressing and it isn’t fit for a little girl.” This may be the case, but no one can deny that Stormi is unique.
