Carrie Fisher: Buried in Prozac Pill-Shaped Urn

Carrie Fisher was laid to rest on Friday afternoon. As previously reported, the iconic actress shared the sad occasion of her funeral with Debbie Reynolds, Fisher’s beloved and famous mother who incredibly passed away just a day after her daughter. The Star Wars favorite died on December 27, from complications related to a heart attack; while Reynolds died on December 28, from complications related to a stroke. She was cremated… and her ashes were placed in a gigantic Prozac-pill urn. For real! “It was a porcelain antique Prozac pill from the ’50s that was one of Carrie’s prized possessions,” Todd, Fisher’s brother, explained The Hollywood Reporter. Leave it to Fisher to keep us cracking up, even in death. The actress, of course, was very open throughout her adult life regarding her mental illness. She suffered from anxiety and Bipolar Disorder and was never seen without her therapy dog, Gary, by her side. Todd Fisher spoke to reporters moments after the funeral in Los Angeles yesterday, which took place one day after his sister’s private memorial . He went into further depth at the time regarding the unusual urn selection. “We couldn’t find anything appropriate. Carrie would like that,” he said of the choice, adding again of the antique pill box: “It was her favorite thing, and so that’s how you do it. And so they’re together, and they will be together here and in heaven, and we’re OK with that.” Fisher died at age 60 and Reynolds at age 84. Todd also said that Carrie’s daughter, Billie Lourd, as on board with the urn. As for everyone else in the family? “Everybody’s as settled as we can be, and we’re not going to go any further,” he shared. “We’ll have a bigger service down the road for the public and all the family friends, but this was a private family service and we’re – it was fitting and it was beautiful.” View Slideshow: Debbie Reynolds: Mourned, Honored by Hollywood Continued Todd Fisher: “We have so much of them that was left behind. All of my sister’s words and all the movies, and all the things that they created. That’s what we need to remember.” And just like Fisher’s fans, who can sit back and at least watch her work at any time, Todd has ways he can remember his loved ones. “They were both Molly Browns of sorts,” he said fondly, expounding: “Molly Brown’s a movie my mom made years ago and it’s about a very strong woman. Arnold Schwarzenegger Fires Back at Donald Trump: Go Do Your Job!

Arnold Schwarzenegger has a message for Donald Trump. Actually, Arnold Schwarzenegger has a few messages for Donald Trump. Just hours after the President-Elect went on one of his typical Twitter storms – slamming Schwarzenegger as a has-been due to the poor ratings for this week’s Celebrity Apprentice premiere – the ex-movie star has fired back. Hard. The NBC reality show returned on Monday night to 4.9 million total viewers, along with a 1.3 rating in the key demographic of adults 18-49. The previous season premiere, which was hosted by Trump and aired back in January 2015, garnered 6.8 million viewers and earned a 2.4 in this same under age category. That’s a pretty huge dropoff. And it’s one The Donald took pointed notice of on social media. “Wow, the ratings are in and Arnold Schwarzenegger got ‘swamped’ (or destroyed) by comparison to the ratings machine, DJT,” Trump tweeted on Friday, morning. Added the impending President of the United States: “So much for being a movie star-and that was season 1 compared to season 14. Now compare him to my season 1. But who cares, he supported Kasich & Hillary.” In this case, at least, we have to give Trump credit: He got his numbers right. This rarely happens when it comes to Trump on Twitter . Schwarzenegger, the former Republican Governor of California, has never been one to back down from a fight, however. So he quickly jumped on social media and took Trump down with a couple piece of advice. “There’s nothing more important that the people’s work, @realDonaldTrump,. “I wish you the best of luck and I hope you’ll work for ALL of the American people as aggressively as you worked for your ratings.” Damn! Shots fired! And Schwarzenegger wasn’t finished, either. “Please study this quote from [Abraham] Lincoln’s inaugural, @realDonald Trump,” he wrote. “It inspired me every day I was Governor, and I hope it inspires you.” Schwarzenegger then went ahead and read the quote in a video. This is what it says: We are not enemies, but friends. We must not be enemies. Though passion may have strained, it must not break our bonds of affection. The mystic chords of memory, stretching from every battlefield and patriot grave to every living heart and hearthstone all over this broad land, will yet swell when again touched, as surely they will be, by the better angels of our nature. Without doubt, these profound, helpful words will turn Trump around and he’ll focus entirely on governing the country, sympathizing with all Americans and doing everything he can actually make this country better. Darn. We almost did it. We almost wrote that entire paragraph with a straight face. It’s worth noting that Trump is an executive producer on The Apprentice. This is ridiculous, yet it’s true. It means he actually makes money if you watch the show, which could explain why he’s so bitter over these terrible ratings. The guy is clearly in need of money. A lot of money. He may owe Russia hundreds of millions of dollars. Expect Vladimir Putin to hack into the NBC ratings database any day now.

Kim Kardashian Cries Over Robbery: "They’re Gonna Shoot Me!"

So much for sitting down with 60 Minutes. Or for writing a heartfelt blog post. For the first time since being robbed at gunpoint by multiple armed assailants in Paris, Kim Kardashian has spoken out on the frightening incident. And she's done so in the most predictable way possible: on an episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians. We don't mean to make light of what was truly a life-altering, unimaginable situation. Sources have said that Kardashian thought she would be raped or killed in the early morning of October 3 while hurled out of bed by robbers in masks. She was tied up and gagged and begged for her telling the criminals that she had two young children at home. We cannot fathom what she went through. But you'll forgive us for being a bit disappointed that E! is now using this crime to promote new episodes of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, which returns in March. In the following promo, Kim breaks down in tears multiple times, first while discussing the robbery and the thought that kept going through her head. “They're going to shoot me in the back,” she says in hysterics, recalling the incident. “There's no way out. It makes me so upset to think about it.” Elsewhere, we see her react (or pretend to react; come on, there's no way cameras just happened to be rolling at this exact time) when learning that Kanye West has been hospitalized for a nervous breakdown. “Don't scare me, please. What's going on?” Kim says, crying over the phone. She later says to the camera or to someone nearby: “I think he really needs me, and I have to get home.” It's been a jarring few months for Kim Kardashian, that's for certain. She just recently made a return to social media (see slideshow, above) and is clearly now okay using her near-death experience to earn ratings for her family's reality show. VH1 Big in 2015 with Entertainment Weekly Award Show Featuring: Stevie J, Joseline Hernandez  Court Set To Drop Stevie J’s Defamation Suit Against Joseline Stevie J may be trying to patch his rocky relationship up with the mother of his child Joseline Hernandez by dropping his defamation case against her, BOSSIP has learned. Officials from Fulton County Superior Court filed docs to dismiss Stevie’s lawsuit against Joseline for allegedly trashing his house and spreading false rumors about him. “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” star Stevie sued his co-star turned lover last year for defamation, breach of contract, invasion of privacy and a slew of other accusations after he said she allegedly bleached his clothes – including a $10,00 jacket from P. Diddy – destroyed $15,000 worth of Versace china and then spread lies that he was gay, worshipped the devil and molested his own daughter. Stevie said Joseline’s alleged slander led to an investigation from Georgia’s Division of Family and Children’s Services, but he was later cleared. But Stevie apparently never followed through with the case by officially serving the mother of their baby daughter, Bonnie, with his complaint, and the judge scheduled a hearing for later this month, where he’ll have to explain whether it should go ahead or not. Stevie recently posted pictures of their baby on social media, so he apparently has some idea of where Joseline is to serve her the docs. But perhaps dropping the case is his way of burying the hatchet with his ex after she said he emotionally and financially abandoned her during their pregnancy. We’ve reached out to Stevie’s attorney, Anthony W. Collins for comment.

Phillip Anschutz’s Hater Politics A Reason To Pass On Coachella Passes Over the past few days social media has been abuzz over the 2017 Coachella lineup, which includes Beyonce , Radiohead, Kendrick Lamar, Future, Travis Scott, Schoolboy Q and Gucci Mane as some of the acts performing… Social media is now on fire for another reason entirely, as many festival lovers are learning that the man who owns AEG (owners of Coachella operators Goldenvoice) has some pretty bad politics — including donating HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS to an anti-gay hate group . Afro-Punk reveals : Philip Anschutz is the billionaire machine behind Coachella and his politics are icky, sticky with the slime of the swamp that folks like president-elect Trump loves to associate with. Anschutz owns AEG, the entertainment and sports company only second to Live Nation in its reach, with investments in the Los Angeles Lakers, the Los Angeles Kings and the Staples Center to name a few. But really where his money is doing the most damage is in his support of socially conservative causes. ProgressNow Colorado’s executive director Ian Silverii was quoted saying, “Phil Anschutz’s extensive influence in Colorado politics has been known for years, but the degree of his support for anti-LGBTQ groups that fund extremist hate groups like Gordon Kligenschmitt’s ‘Pray in Jesus Name’ is shocking.” In even more covert efforts, the Anschutz Foundation gave $110,000 to Alliance Defending Freedom, $50,000 to National Christian Foundation, and $30,000 to Family Research Council between 2010 and 2013, all of which have been known to support prejudice against LGBTQ efforts.Since 2008, the Anschutz Foundation has donated $175,000 to the Mission America Foundation, a far-right organization whose president considers homosexuality to be a “deviance.” Anschutz’ Walden Media group funds films that support his political views as well, funding “Won’t Back Down” and “Waiting For Superman” which are pro-charter school and anti-teachers union. To add insult to injury, Greenpeace notes that media companies owned by Anschutz figure prominently in the denial of climate science and the promotion of climate-change skepticism and even went as far as suing a small town for their regulations on fracking, but eventually lost the case. According to Jezebel : Mission America Coalition—has been classified as a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center for its promotion of travel restrictions for HIV-positive citizens, among other radically right-wing views. Anschutz was also a major backer of Colorado’s Prop 2, which passed and would have broadly legalized discrimination against LGBTQ people before the U.S. Supreme Court ruled it unconstitutional. In other words, Anschutz is taking the money you are handing him for Coachella tickets and using it toward causes you probably (if you are gay, have gay friends, are a teacher, have friends who are teachers, if you care about the environment, drinking water etc…) hate. Now that you know this — will you continue to support Coachella and other AEG events? Or will you take a stance and pass on these events as a political statement. In the case of Coachella it may already be too late, as we’re hearing passes are already sold out. But this is still good information. Kim Kardashian is doing all she can to distract folks from the possibility that she really did get her butt stuck in Kanye West’s gold toilet seat . How else to explain her social media photo barrage after months and months of silence? On Tuesday, Kardashian celebrated the new year by updating her Facebook profile and by sharing a video of her and her family spending some precious time at home. And now the reality star has taken an even bigger step in her return to the pop culture universe: She’s posted her first selfie of 2017! Wait, that deserves more exclamation marks: She’s posted her first selfie of 2017!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It’s not that we’ve been keeping track of Kim Kardashian selfies in the new year (we swear, we haven’t!); it’s just that Kim herself revealed this fact in the caption of the image. “First selfie of 2017 w my mama,” the 36-year old wrote on Snapchat along with the photo. She’s sitting in the backseat of a car in the picture, flashing a peace sign and still rocking that ridiculous lip ring. Elsewhere on Wednesday, Kardashian posted her second photo to Facebook in two days, this time posing sweetly with son Saint West. And in case you weren’t certain who was in the picture, Kim captioned it with the words “my son.” She also included a heart emoji. Kardashian has been spending a great deal of time at home with Saint and daughter North over the past three months. She was robbed at gunpoint while in Paris back on October 3, somehow surviving a harrowing experience that featured her hands being tied behind her back and a group of armed assailants demanding to know the location of her jewelry. They eventually made off with over $4 million worth of Kim’s property. Kim was so shaken up by the incident that she took an extended break from social media. She hasn’t said a word about what happened, either. But numerous sources have said that the mother of two was afraid for her life, screaming at the robbers that she has two young children at home. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West: Are They Together? Then, late last year, just as Kim was reportedly prepared to return to the spotlight, Kanye was hospitalized for some kind of nervous breakdown. He spent nine days under the supervision of doctors and is allegedly still seeking professional help. These events have supposedly taken their toll on Kimye, with Kim and Kanye divorce rumors running rampant around the Internet. Will the couple actually take this legal step? We doubt it, but neither star has come out and shot the chatter down. Although one of the latest pictures Kim shared online was the following snapshot of her, her kids and her husband. She wrote “family” as a caption. Might this have been her simple way of telling everyone to chill the heck out because all is good between her and Kanye? Probably. Or it was her way of positioning herself as a strong family person so that she can use that against West when the two do eventually split. It’s hard to say at this point. Amy Duggar: Did Josh Duggar Abuse Her, Too?!

It's hard to believe, but at this point, it's been nearly two years since the world learned that Josh Duggar had molested five young girls — and that four of those girls were his own little sisters. Since then, the Duggar family's good reputation — or, OK, if they didn't have a good reputation, they at least had a non-violent reputation — has been irreparably tarnished. And when it came out that Josh had cheated on his poor wife, Anna, and when women began making reports that he'd had violent trysts with them … it's all been so remarkably bad. But is it about to get worse? Amy Duggar, cousin to all those 19 Kids and Counting, went on Marriage Boot Camp with her husband, Dillon King. In a teaser for the show, Amy was seen recounting an instance of domestic violence — she said “he picked me up by my throat, all the way up to the ceiling.” At the time, it sounded like she was talking about Dillon, but she made it clear that wasn't the case . So who abused her, then? Well, in this new interview, she says that the man in question is “a family member,” and that the violence happened when she was younger. Chris Brown and Soulja Boy got into an insane, profane and hilarious beef over Brown’s ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran last night on Twitter. We can’t do it justice. You have GOT to see this. Chris Brown, Soulja Boy Threaten Each Other on Video The once-relevant rapper instigated the online fight when he claimed that the troubled R&B singer called him … for a ridiculous reason. Chris, Soulja says, was furious that the latter “Liked” one of Karrueche’s posts on Instagram; Ya Boy was not too pleased about this. “Chris brown just called me and said he wanna fight me because I liked @karrueche picture on Instagram this n—a a bitch,” Soulja tweeted. Accusing Chris of drug use, he wrote “Aye @chrisbrown pull up n—a I’ll knock yo Bitch A– out stop snorting so much coke n—a. FRUITS.” Fruits refers to the Fruit Town Pirus, a gang that Chris has long been associated with, albeit loosely; Brown is not an initiated member. Anyway, Brown didn’t engage in the fight on Twitter … initially. Eventually, Soulja Boy got him to respond by adding “F–k Chris Brown! That n—a Chris Brown better not tweet s–t with his p—y a–.” “He called my phone trippin so now I’m trippin F–k n—a. Fruits!” Soulja Boy continued, bringing up Brown’s checkered past with Rihanna. “Chris brown think he hard cuz he hit a woman. And jumped a fan at his house party on New Years lmao u can’t fight Bitch do that s–t to me!” Eventually, Brown responded on Instagram. Video style. Along with footage of Soulja Boy trying to cover one of Brown’s songs, Chris called out his new adversary for getting arrested last month.  “You on probation for weapons and all that gangsta s–t you talk about and you get out less than 24 hours later? You told!” Brown said. Chris’ conclusion is that Soulja is a snitch who is in league with cops, as he knows people who’ve been locked up for DUI longer than that. Street n–gas, Chris says, don’t engage in jawing with no “Officer Soulja” (the rapper claims he got off because he has the best lawyers). Brown said that if bringing up Rihanna is the best Soulja can do, he really needs to try harder, since that was 10 YEARS AGO now. He later told him to meet him in the boxing ring at his convenience, where he wouldn’t stand a chance after the adrenaline wore off. Seriously. Watch the clips above. This all happened.
