Rob Kardashian Apologizes to Blac Chyna, Asks for Prayers

Rob Kardashian has issued an apology, made a vow and asked for your prayers. All in the course of a couple Instagram posts. Over the weekend, Kardashian and Blac Chyna appeared to break up for the 978th time, although this split was scripted in especially impressive and creative fashion.  FIRST, Chyna claimed someone hacked into her Instagram account, leaking damaging emails and text messages that included her slamming Rob as “fat” and “lazy.” Other exchanges hinted strongly that Chyna was going to dump Rob some time next year, after securing a trademark on the last name “Kardashian” and laughing all the way to the bank. We’ve posted several screen shots from Chyna’s alleged hacking throughout this story. Such as… The story then goes that Rob got very angry at Chyna for her leaked insults and plans to dump him… and she responded by taking the couple’s baby girl and simply leaving him. Kardashian made major headlines on Saturday night when he filmed himself all alone inside his home, telling Snapchat viewers that he was a “broken” man as a result of Chyna’s actions. Since then, Chyna has posed online with a rumored new love interest and Rob has sworn that this is not yet another Kardashian-related publicity stunt. He said on Sunday that the split is real. Oh, and Chyna’s mom spoke out, slamming Kardashian and saying he needs therapy . So, really, we’re talking about your basic 48 hours for a couple that needs to generate ratings for its E! specials and its E! reality series. And now Rob has jumped on Instagram once again to issue a heartfelt apology, while also expressing his love for Blac Chyna and claiming he’ll actually take Tokyo Toni’s advice. “This weekend I was in an emotional bad place and did some things that embarrassed myself and my family,” Kardashian wrote in an Instagram post on Monday, adding: “I apologize and I’m seeking help to deal with my flaws/issues. Please pray for me and I’m sorry @blacchyna. You are a great mother to our child and I love you.” Now, IF we’re supposed to believe that Chyna was really hacked… and IF we’re supposed to believe that she sent people emails bashing her fiance and confessing that she plans to leave him… … then we have no idea why Rob would be apologizing. Along with the Mea Culpa issued above, Rob shared an adorable picture of daughter Dream Kardashian and promised to be the best parent he can be to the one-month old. “I am going to get better for you Dream. You are my life and gave me a new start on being a better me. Love you,” he captioned the following image. And this is where things just get sad. If Rob and Chyna want to play a million games with each other and/or with the media and/or with their followers, fine. Whatever. So what? That’s how this family has rolled for years. But there’s now a child involved. There’s nothing funny or entertaining about Dream’s parents breaking up every week; or pretending to break up every week; or whatever the heck you choose to believe about this story. There’s also nothing funny about Rob turning to religion and exploiting people’s belief system. You want us to pray for you, Rob Kardashian?!? Allow us to pose a question in response to that request. Flip or Flop: It’s Coming to An End!

It turns out the show must NOT go on after all. Following several days of damaging headlines regarding the stars of Flip or Flop, HGTV has apparently decided that it will not continue to air new episodes of this once-beloved real estate-themed series. According to a new E! News report, installments of Flip or Flop that have already filmed or which have been contracted to film  will be broadcast as planned throughout 2016 and early 2017. HOWEVER: “The show will end after that,” an insider confirms. That’s the current plan, at least, and it’s an understandable one. Earlier this month, stars  Tarek El Moussa and Christina El Moussa announced that they separated back in May. They had held off on telling the public about their marital status until they were forced to do so by a leaked police report, one that outlined a frightening incident that took place in and around their Orange County home this spring. Back then, Tarek responded to a fight with Christina by grabbing a gun and heading into the woods. Christina feared that her husband was going to kill himself and dialed 911. Many police officers (and a helicopter) then arrived on the scene, coming across a distraught Tarek, who claimed that he had only taken a gun into the wilderness as protection against animals. The couple then turned over a handful of other (legally registered) firearms to the authorities. Once this situation went viral, Tarek and Christina issued a statement that broadly acknowledged what happened and also acknowledged their split. There was no violence and no charges were filed. “During the [separation] process, we are committed to our kids and being the best parents we can be.” The couple is parents to a six-year old daughter and one-year old son. HGTV then went ahead and issued its own statement, claiming that it would continue to air Flip or Flop as if nothing had happened between Tarek and Christina. The two were planning to maintain their business relationship, despite this personal setback. But it has since come out that Tarek dated the family nanny after splitting from Christina; while Christina is still dating the family contractor . While the network is yet to confirm the E! report that a Flip or Flop end date is basically at hand, it would make sense that these negative headlines related to the show’s stars have simply become too much of a burden. No one has been accused of molesting a relative, but this situation at least bears some similarity to when Lifetime pulled the plug on 19 Kids and Counting as a result of Josh Duggar’s despicable behavior. Tarek recently stood up to a cyber-bully who went after Christina. And the couple is saying all the right things in public. “We are committed to our kids and being the best parents we can be,” the two told E! News. “We will continue to work through this process civilly and cooperatively, and plan to continue our professional life together.” Meanwhile, until this latest assertion that the end is near, the network has been nothing but supportive. “We admire and appreciate Tarek and Christina’s great work on Flip or Flop. When it comes to matters related to their own family, we respect their privacy and honor any decision that works best for them and their children,” the network told E! News in another statement. “HGTV is currently airing episodes of Flip or Flop and the series will continue production as scheduled.” That may still be the network stance, too. Executives may have simply come to the conclusion that it’s not worth planning a new season of the program, considering all this crazy, ongoing drama. Christina and Tarek El Moussa: Are They Dating Other People?

Christina and Tarek El Moussa’s split may have shocked fans, but only because they kept their marital issues so private for much of the year. The fact they’re apparently on such good terms, despite the issues that led to the demise of their marriage, also helped keep up appearances. The Flip or Flop couple’s breakup was revealed earlier this week following a surprising report about a police incident dating back to May. Tarek and Christina separated after an argument in which he stormed out of the house with a gun to “blow off steam” and she called 911. Details of the 911 call El Moussa placed after this have been revealed – and confirmed by the couple, though they say it was a misunderstanding. In any case, they haven’t begun divorce proceedings yet, and want to continue working together – both as parents and on their HGTV hit. “We plan to continue working together in front of the camera,” they said. “We have been working towards this for the past five years.” “As you can imagine, fame is a mixed bag. We decided to separate while we reevaluated the next steps in our married life.” “We believed this was in the best interests of the children and the best way to determine a path forward,” the couple adds. As for whether they will get back together someday?  Don’t bet on it, based on this candid assessment: “We have both dated other people following the separation, but neither of us is ready to announce anything in terms of another relationship.” The HGTV tandem also explained that Christina’s 911 call about Tarek’s alleged suicide attempt was not as bad as it sounds, saying: “His intentions were misread. Once [police] were there it was determined that he had no negative intentions towards himself or anyone else.” “There was no violence, no threat, no arrest.” Christina had been “crying and shaking” when police arrived, which they didn’t explain, but sounds like a pretty bad argument happened. In any case, the couple tried working out their issues through therapy and counseling, but was unsuccessful, and they ended up separating. El Moussa family insiders revealed that while this may surprise fans, “in a lot of ways they just seemed wildly incompatible” in general. “She has champagne tastes; he’s a beer-from-a-can kind of guy,” one source said, which worked fine when they could only afford the latter. Working together to get by in a tough real estate market and to do the best with what they had, they were on the same page for awhile. Then they started to make it big, and bigger still. Leonardo DiCaprio Pays Touching Tribute to Alan Thicke

Last night, the world learned that beloved sitcom star  Alan Thicke passed away after suffering a massive heart attack while playing hockey with his son. Thicke has been mourned by millions on social media, including many celebrities who knew the actor personally. Of course, despite his many roles over the years, Thicke remains best known as Jason Seaver on the long-running ABC series Growing Pains – a show that also launched the career of one of Hollywood’s biggest stars. Leonardo DiCaprio wasn’t an original member of the Growing Pains cast, but he’s often said that when he signed on in the show’s final season, at the age of 16, he was welcomed like family. Today, the Oscar-winner posted a moving tribute to Thicke on his Facebook page: “Alan was a devoted father, husband, friend and role model. He knew how to harness the power of the entertainment industry to be a positive influence in so many lives – including mine. “I will be forever grateful for the opportunity I had to work with Alan early in my career. He had tremendous class, a huge heart, and he taught me and so many others the valuable lessons about humility and gratitude. “I’ve seen him a number of times over the years and when Alan Thicke walked in the room, quite frankly, no one was cooler. I miss him already – my thoughts and prayers are with the entire Thicke family during this difficult time.” Actor Kirk Cameron, who starred on the show as Thicke’s son, Mike Seaver, also shared come kind words about one of his first co-stars on social media: “I spent Monday through Friday for seven important years with Alan Thicke as my ‘TV dad.’ I’m shocked and truly heartbroken today at the news of his death,” Cameron wrote on Instagram. “Alan was a generous, kind and loving man. I am so blessed to have grown up with him. Chelsea and I send our love and prayers to his family tonight. A new video allegedly showing one of the thugs who robbed Kim Kardashian  could be the key to solving her case at last … if it’s real, anyway. A copy of purported security camera footage taken of the chilling heist that went down on the night of October 3 was posted today by Radar . Kim, 36, was held at gunpoint in the luxurious No Name Hotel in Paris and robbed of millions in jewels. The crime has yet to be solved. Radar’s video, however, reveals the face of one of the alleged culprits for the very first time, though the story surrounding it raises questions. According to an insider quoted by the celebrity gossip site, the thieves demanded that the building staff turn over video from the cameras on site. That, they believed, would scuttle any trace of evidence. Since that fateful night, however, either the goons have been showing the video to the wrong people or it’s been stolen, ’cause Radar got it. The video purports to show “Kim’s friend or nanny being held … they were storming the room, and one of her friends was being held.” “At the time, Kim was in her bedroom, and there weren’t any cameras there. She didn’t come out to help her friend outside of her door.” “But you can see that it was very violent.” “Kim had every right to be spooked!” Indeed, the grainy black and white footage shows an unknown thug coming up behind and dragging a blonde woman around by the neck. Terminally Ill 5-Year-Old Dies in Santa’s Arms

It’s hard to imagine a more convincing Santa Claus than Knoxville, Tennessee resident Eric Schmitt-Matzen. With his long white beard, easy smile, and 6-foot, 300-pound frame, Schmitt-Matzen is like a Saint Nick drawing come to life. But the most important similarity between Schmitt-Matzen and every kids’ favorite gift-giver has nothing to with appearance, and everything to do with the ability to spread joy to children, even in the most difficult of circumstances. Schmitt-Matzen recently shared a heartbreaking tale with the Knoxville News Sentinel about the dying wish of a 5-year-old boy who loved Christmas. The 60-year-old says he received an urgent request from a Knoxville area nurse, who told him that the boy had informed staff that what he wanted more than anything in the world was a final visit from Santa. “[A local nurse] said there was a very sick 5-year-old boy who wanted to see Santa Claus,” Schmitt-Matzen tells the paper. “I told her, ‘Okay, just let me change into my outfit.’ She said, ‘There isn’t time for that. Your Santa suspenders are good enough. Come right now.’ ” Upon arriving, Schmitt-Matzen instructed staff and visitors that it was crucial they maintain their composure: “I sized up the situation and told everyone, ‘If you think you’re going to lose it, please leave the room,'” he says. “If I see you crying, I’ll break down and can’t do my job.’” It’s not hard to see why Schmitt-Matzen experienced a moment of self doubt, but those present say that from the moment he entered the sick child’s room, he never broke character for an instant: “‘Say, what’s this I hear about you’re gonna miss Christmas?'” the professional Santa recalls telling the boy. “There’s no way you can miss Christmas! Why, you’re my Number One elf!’” The frightened child informed Schmitt-Matzen that he had been told he was going to die, and was filled with questions: “‘They say I’m gonna die. How can I tell when I get to where I’m going?’” the boy asked. “‘When you get there, you tell ’em you’re Santa’s Number One elf, and I know they’ll let you in.’” Schmitt-Matzen replied.
