Amanda Stanton was one of the most genuine Bachelor in Paradise stars this summer. She went on the show to try and find a suitor who would love her for her and she accomplished that goal. She was initially paired up with Nick Viall, but her attention changed to Josh Murray when he arrived at the beautiful Mexican home all of the contestants shared. This did not sit well with Nick, who previously butted heads with Murray on The Bachelorette. If you recall, Josh Murray won Andi Dorfman’s heart on his season of the show. Like most The Bachelor franchise relationships, their pairing did not last very long. Dorfman even released a tell-all book that chronicled part of her relationship with Murray. However, it appears that Amanda Stanton and Josh Murray are totally head over heels. They are engaged and things appear to be going rather smoothly for them. Josh Murray, Amanda Stanton on Bachelor in Paradise Stanton has now revealed that she was embarrassed about not having a perfect family after things went south for her and ex-husband, Nick Buonfiglio. The reality TV star has now took to her blog to reveal that single moms should not give up on love. “I became a single mother when Kinsley was barely 2 and Charlie was a newborn,” Stanton shares. “My parents moved halfway across the country to St. Louis six months prior, I was trying to lose the 40 pounds I gained during pregnancy, still breastfeeding and throwing a pity party for myself while living in a family friend’s house in Malibu.” “Meanwhile, their father was dating multiple girls he was meeting on Tinder, became a regular at the local bars and was going on trips to Vegas with his friends every other weekend.” “I remember thinking it was so unfair that he could just break up our family and then go back to living his life the way he did pre-children while my world completely revolved around them.” It is nice that Stanton thought it was necessary to give fans this insight into what went down after her relationship concluded. It’s clear she’s a great mother to both of her kids. There’s even reports they like Murray, too. It’s kind of a win-win situation. It’s great that things are going great from them and that wedding bells are ringing. Josh has been one of the more popular contestants on the franchise in recent years, so there’s a good chance that the two of them could get their own spin-off. Bobby Brown Issues Statement Following Guilty Verdict In Nick Gordon’s Wrongful Death Case It’s been a rough couple of years for Bobby Brown. Now that Nick Gordon’s wack azz is being held accountable for literally ruining Bobbi Kristina’s life, Bobby is turning to the Lord, according to a statement he released to E! Online. “I am pleased with the outcome of today’s court proceedings. All I ever wanted was answers relating to who and what caused my daughter’s death. Today’s judgment tells me it was Nick Gordon. Now I need to process all the emotions I have and lean on God to get me and my family through this.” Poor thang. We hope Bobby can truly get to a place of healing now.

Hey, remember the 40,000 times you thought the 2016 presidential election couldn’t possibly get any more ridiculous? Well, it seems that you were wrong yet again, as Tuesday’s Pepe the Frog affair has been replaced as the controversy of the week, thanks to a dust-up over the email account of a former Secretary of State. No, not that Secretary of State (though we’re sure you’ll hear more about her emails after this whole ” Hillary is mere moments from death ” business cools off). We’re talking about Colin Powell, whose emails were hacked yesterday, revealing what could most generously be described as his strong dislike for both current candidates. Based on his correspondence, Powell holds a deep disdain for Donald Trump (whom he calls “a national disgrace and an international pariah”), but isn’t that crazy about the real estate mogul’s opponent, either. Powell has previously expressed frustration over Hillary Clinton’s handling of the investigation into her use of a private email server, especially her habit of reminding critics that Powell also used a private email account when “engaging with Department officials” during his time as Secretary of State. His frustrations are clear in a number of the correspondences sent by Powell that were posted on the DC Leak website yesterday following a hack orchestrated earlier this week. “I have told Hilleary’s [sic] minions repeatedly that they are making a mistake trying to drag me in, yet they still try,” Powell wrote in one email. “Everything HRC touches she kind of screws up with hubris,” reads another , which was sent by Powell to Democratic mega-donor Jeffrey Leeds. Powell goes on to joke that he should “send [Clinton] a bill” for overcharging a university for a speaking engagement to the point that the school came under fire and had to cancel a scheduled speech from Powell. Then things really get interesting: First, Powell reveals to Leeds that the Obamas and Clintons have not gotten along ever since President Obama “kicked [Hillary’s] ass” in the 2008 Democratic primaries. (He even claims that Bill and Hillary refer to Barack as “that man.”) Powell then outlines his exact feelings about Hillary in brutal fashion and includes a new allegation about her husband’s infidelity for good measure: Well, it’s a nice that he calls her a friend, but we’re guessing Hillary would’ve preferred if her buddy Colin left out the part about her husband “dicking bimbos on the side.” It seems to us that there are three main takeaways from all of this: 1. Washington is basically your high school cafeteria. 2. “Dick” is a verb now. 3. Colin Powell will probably be staying home on Election Day. Tragedy has struck the family of Robby Gordon. The racecar driver addressed the press and the public this afternoon for the first time since his father and stepmother were found dead inside their home in Orange County, California. According to initial reports, the incident is being investigated as a murder-suicide. Around 5 p.m. on Wednesday, police received a 911 call from an individual who said there were two bodies inside a residence nearby, says Police Lt. Fred Lopez. Gordon subsequently told The Orange Country Register that those close to his dad, who was known as “Baja Bob,” grew concerned after he failed to show up at a doctor’s appointment earlier in the day. A search party was then sent out, which culminated in Baja Bob’s close friend, Jay Hooker, finding his friend’s body and the body of his friend’s wife, Sharon. He’s the one who called the authorities. Baja Bob Gordon was known around the NASCAR circuit as someone who was instrumental in launching the careers of young drivers, including multi-time Sprint Cup Champion Jimme Johnson. Johnson even rode with Bob in off-road races on occasion. Robby Gordon: Father and Step-Mother Dead of Murder-Suicide “This is devastating,” Robby Gordon told reporters a day after the tragedy. “He taught so many, and I want everyone to know what a good man he was.” Police have not revealed many details about the crime or the crime scene, but, as we said above, it is believed to have been a murder-suicide. A rifle was found in the house, however, Lopez confirms. There were no other guns found in the home, while Lopez did not say whether or not the rifle was involved in the deaths. No drugs were found in the house. No word yet, either, on which half of the couple committed the alleged murder and which half committed the alleged suicide. Robby Gordon has hinted that he knows what happened, though. “The truth will come out,” he told The Orange County Register. At his press conference this afternoon, Gordon added: “I’d like everybody to understand this is very tough. It’s not only tough for me but tough for my sisters. And my sister that is Sharon’s daughter, Haylee.” Robby Gordon canceled a motivational speech he had planned for Thursday at Chapman Hills Elementary School in Orange. A neighbor named Jill Dombroske, meanwhile, told the aforementioned newspaper that she feels “very sad” over what happened, with another neighbor adding of Bob Gordon: “He’s a very nice, down to earth guy.” Robby Gordon has started 10 Indy 500s in his career, from 1993-2004, finishing in the top 10 five times. His best finish was fourth in 1999. As you can see above, many in the racing community have sent Gordon their thoughts and prayers. We join them in doing so.

London Police Target Black Men To Boost Arrests Just in case you thought police targeting Black and Brown people was a uniquely American issue…just know that brothers and sisters in the UK are going through it as well. Via RT : Metropolitan Police officers “routinely discriminate against black people” in stop-and-search operations in the British capital, according to Scotland Yard’s new head of diversity. Speaking to the Evening Standard, Victor Olisa said it is accepted practice in the force to stop young black men to try and boost arrest rates for drugs such as cannabis, while officers turned a blind eye to white men who may be carrying cocaine. Olisa, 57, one of Scotland Yard’s most senior black officers, said the discrimination was driven by performance, rather than racism. If drugs were found, the officer would repeat the same process to get the results, he said. “You end up building a process and a stereotype. The cop on the ground is just doing it because of what he or she thinks is right, they are not doing it because they are racist. “But when you look at the accumulated data you see massive disproportionality. I think that’s where we get lost.” He said officers should continue to carry out stop-and-search based on intelligence and “be able to explain as an individual why you stopped Joe Bloggs.” The Black Lives Matter movement, which formally launched in the UK this year, says black people are 37 percent times more likely to be stopped and searched than white people and three times more likely to be arrested by white people. Black people have been overrepresented by more than a factor of two for deaths in police custody since 1998, it says. SMH!!!
