As you’ve probably heard by now, Tristan Thompson was caught cheating on Khloe Kardashian again last week. And this time, Tristan made the situation even worse by hooking up with Jordyn Woods , longtime best friend of Kylie Jenner. By all accounts, Khloe was more or less over her relationship with Tristan long before news of his latest infidelity broke. But the fact that her baby daddy couldn’t keep his hands off a woman that Khloe considers a little sister is something the entire family just can’t get over. “Khloe is still hurt. She still can’t believe that Tristan hooked up with Jordan,” a source close to the situation tells People magazine. “Everyone thinks she will be better off now. Tristan won’t be able to hurt her again,” the source continues. “For him to hook up with Jordan is the ultimate betrayal.” The insider goes on to say that Khloe is focusing on her daughter these days, and while she’s wounded by Tristan’s behavior, she’s also determined to remain strong for the sake of baby True. “It’s always difficult when you realize a relationship that you have worked hard on to keep is completely over,” the source says. “But for Khloé, although it seemed she was always hoping Tristan would change, she has been acting for a while like she has moved on. “She has been living in L.A. alone with True for months. They have their routine and schedule in L.A. that Khloé loves. This will not change for Khloe.” The informant goes on to say that Khloe very much wanted a traditional family with Tristan, but she long ago learned to adapt. “When she was pregnant, she never expected to be a single mom though,” the insider reveals. “Tristan’s behavior has definitely shocked her. Khloe is the nicest, most caring and giving person.” Of course, none of this is to say that Tristan and Jordyn are forgiven for their betrayal. Far from it, in fact, as Khloe has been making her feelings about the situation very clear on social media. “People reveal themselves through their actions,” Kardashian recently wrote on Instagram. “No matter how much a snake sheds skin. It’s still a snake.” Jordyn is said to be devastated by Khloe’s comments — and by the fact that she’s been tossed out of the Kardashians’ inner circle. Jordyn was living in Kylie’s guesthouse when news of the scandal broke last week. Now, she’s reportedly moved back in with her mother. “Jordyn was insecure and always known as [Kylie Jenner’s] BFF, so once she started getting attention on her own as her own person from Tristan, she didn’t know how to handle it,” an insider tells Us Weekly . “Jordyn was on a little bit of a high, but now is at her lowest point. It’s really sad for Kylie because Jordyn was Kylie’s only real friend and she feels lost. “The cameras have been rolling through all of this and so much of the Kardashians’ stuff is planned and set up, but this Jordyn stuff is real.” But if Jordyn is hoping for sympathy from Khloe, she’s got another thing coming. “Khloé feels so betrayed,” another insider tells Us. “This time it hurts even more because the person who it was with is someone who knows very much what Khloé has gone through in the past year. Jordyn is like part of the family. “She was very much aware how devastated Khloe was by Tristan’s previous betrayal,” the source adds. “Jordyn knew so much that it is hard for those immediately around them to wrap their minds around how she could do it.” It sounds like Woods won’t be making any appearances on Keeping Up With the Kardashians anytime soon. As you may have heard, Meghan Markle was in New York City this week for a baby shower hosted by a handful of her closest friends. While the celebration was reportedly a rather pricey affair — as is customary for well-heeled public figures in any line of work — the bill was footed entirely by Meghan’s A-list associates, a group that includes Serena Williams and Amal Clooney . Based on the backlash, however, you would have thought that the whole thing was taxpayer funded. The British tabloid press — which has been relentlessly critical of Meghan from the time her relationship with Prince Harry was first made public — claims that the royals are angry about the shower , as such customs are considered beneath her station. And then there was this woman who donned a mask and took to the streets to repeatedly shout the phrase “charlatan duchess” at Markle. (Note to Crazy Lady: This is America. If you want to make headlines for being racist in the streets, you’ll need a more scathing insult than “charlatan.”) Sadly, the harassment that Meghan received on the streets of Manhattan gave way to a less immediately dangerous, but equally virulent strain of pestering on social media. British bird cage-liner The Sun tweeted about the Masked Dumbass and the comments quickly devolved into the sort of troll-fest that Twitter has sadly become known for. Thankfully, the site deleted a tweet in which the user suggested that Meghan should be shot. Unfortunately, it appears administrators have been unable to keep up with the deluge of hate directed at Meghan, as the harassment campaign continues, mostly unabated. The above screenshot was sent to The Hollywood Gossip by a reader who claims that the “Kozi” account is one of several alternates used by Meghan’s half-sister, Samantha Markle. Please note that while we have reported extensively on Samantha’s harassment of Meghan in the past, we were unable to substantiate the claim that she is the owner of the account or the author of the tweet displayed here. Regardless of who’s responsible, however, one glimpse at a thread like this might be enough to convince you that the targeted harassment campaign against Meghan is far more serious than you had realized. Particularly appalling is the content posted by a user who goes by the handle @YankeeWally, in reference to Wallis Simpson — the American actress whose intended marriage to Edward VIII resulted in the king’s abdication. The account tweeted two photos that claim to show Meghan in various states of undress. We will not be reproducing or linking to them, both because they’re likely fraudulent and because posting explicit photos without the subject’s consent constitutes an act of sexual assault. But let it be known that this is the sort of harassment Meghan endures for committing the unforgivable sin of marrying into a high-profile family. Source: VALERIE MACON / Getty Emotions are high following reports from the Chicago Police Department that Jussie Smollett staged his January 28 attack. Reactions from political commentators, social media users, and celebrities close to Smollett have opened up conversations about hate crimes, the trustworthiness of police and the power of the media. As we reported earlier and according to Jussie’s interview with Good Morning America last week, the Empire star says he was picking up food from Subway one night when someone called him a racist and homophobic slur. Jussie was then allegedly attacked by two masked men who poured an unknown substance on him and put a noose around his neck. The alleged incident sparked social media outrage and at first, the CPD reported that they were treating Smollett like a victim. But now, according to ABC7 , police are saying Smollett paid two Nigerian brothers $3,500 to stage his attack. The 36-year-old is now being charged with one count of felony disorderly conduct for filing a false police report. Jussie turned himself in to authorities on Thursday and if convicted, he can face up to three years in prison and substantial fines. In a press conference, Chicago Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson said Smollett staged the incident because he was “dissatisfied with his salary.” Jussie allegedly staged his attack with the Osundairo brothers — one of them was Smollett’s personal trainer while the other one was an extra on Empire. S urveillance footage shows the brothers purchasing the ski masks allegedly used in the attack, and it also shows them buying a red ball cap and gloves. Even before the alleged attack, police claim Jussie faked a letter he received on the Chicago set of Empire that included racist and homophobic statements. The letter, which was sent on January 22, is currently in the FBI crime lab for analysis. According to an ABC7 legal analyst, Jussie could also face charges for the letter if it’s proven to be a hoax, and he could possibly serve up to five years in prison. All this updated information has caused a roller coaster of emotions from people. 20th Century Fox and Fox Entertainment released a statement Thursday morning reading: “We understand the seriousness of this matter and we respect the legal process. Tyler Perry spoke on Jussie’s situation on Facebook and used the disappearance of Terrance Williams and Felipe Santos as an intro: “How I wish that the disappearance of Terrance Williams and Felipe Santos could get half as much attention as this Jussie Smollett thing. I have personally spoken to Jussie, and he is adamant that he’s telling the truth. Also, everyone that I know who knows him says that he is not the kind of person who would make up such a horrible and awful thing. Yet the evidence seems to state otherwise. I’m lost for words. To stoke fears and raise racial tensions is wrong in every situation on ALL SIDES! Yet my prayers are still with him and his family and our Nation. CAN WE PLEASE STOP THE HATE!” Sides will surely continue to be taken. But Jussie’s defense urges people to acknowledge due process before coming to any conclusions. In a statement, Smollett’s lawyer wrote: “Like any other citizen, Mr. Smollett enjoys the presumption of innocence, particularly when there has been an investigation like this one where information, both true and false, has been repeatedly leaked. Given these circumstances, we intend to conduct a thorough investigation and to mount an aggressive defense.” The saga continues.
A new documentary about the alleged sex crimes Michael Jackson made its debut at the Sundance film festival last month. With a runtime of over four hours, Leaving Neverland was only screened once, but despite its small audience, the film quickly became the talk of the festival. Neverland is set to make its broadcast debut on HBO in March, and according to a new report from TMZ, Jackson’s family is doing everything in its power to prevent that from happening. According to court papers obtained by the site, the Jacksons — who have already compared the film to ” a public lynching ” — have filed a $100 million suit against the network. Such a move is not uncommon in cases where a piece of journalism threatens major damage to the reputation of a rich and powerful person — even when that person is no longer living. What’s unusual in this case is that the Jacksons may have a valid case. TMZ reports that the family’s attorneys are not disputing the claims made in the documentary. Rather, they’re arguing that HBO relinquished its right to disparage Jackson in any way when it reached an agreement with the singer nearly 27 years ago. Back in 1992, HBO aired a concert special entitled Michael Jackson Live in Concert in Bucharest: The Dangerous Tour. Jackson’s contract at the time required all major media partners to sign a very specific non-disparagement agreement. “HBO shall not make any disparaging remarks concerning Performer or any of his representatives, agents, or business practices or do any act that may harm or disparage or cause to lower in esteem the reputation or public image of performer,” reads a document reportedly signed by HBO execs. HBO’s lawyers will likely argue that the contract is voided by the fact that Jackson is dead and HBO is a radically different network now than it was in 1992. But no doubt the Jacksons have hired a legal dream team, and if there’s no expiration date on the contract, then they may succeed in burying Leaving Neverland — for now. Unfortunately for the Jackson estate, this is 2019 — an era with a virtually infinite number of media outlets. Which means the film is sure to find an audience one way or another. Gwyneth Paltrow very clearly resides in her very own universe. In case this wasn’t obvious based on the bizarre and expensive items the actress peddles on Goop, Paltrow has now shown no shame in freely admitting the following: She doesn’t know what’s going on between Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson . To Paltrow’s credit, if you want to phrase it that way, she does apparently read the Internet. She is evidently aware that Thompson is trending today for some reason; she just doesn’t know it’s beause he cheated on Khloe Kardashian with one of her good friends, Jordyn Woods . She seemingly has no idea that Thompson stands accused of inviting Woods over to his house on Sunday night and then making out with her on the couch and then not saying goodbye to her until 7 a.m. Or that she learned about this affair through a series of very awkwad text messages . Simply put, Paltrow is mostly clueless. But she’d at least like to have a clue. Thompson is actually averaging 29.8 minutes per game this year for Cleveland, but that isn’t the point right now. The point is that Paltrow actually stumbled across this comment and replied with one of her own. It reads: Can someone explain what’s going on? I have never heard of half of these people, someone give me context. Please. It seems serious Assuming Paltrow is familiar with Khloe, simply due to the pervasive nature of her family in the entertainment industry, this is a rather funny way of throwing shade at Thompson. And it’s even funnier because we totally believe that the actress legitimately has no idea who he is. Cardi B, conversely, is very familiar with both people involved in this scandal. And, as always, she has an opinion to share. “Why us women don’t have compassion toward each other? Y’all know I’ve been through some shit, I know y’all know I’ve been through some shit,” the rapper said to her followers on Thursday, clearly angry at those taking Khloe to task for some reason. “This whole Khloe Kardashian thing and everybody is like celebrating that that happened to her. It’s like, why? “I know the Kardashians have done f-cked up shit before and everything, but the thing is, it’s like, I think the karma got to them when the last situation happened to shorty before the day she gave birth,” she added. Cardi, of course, is citing the last time Thompson was caught cheating . Continuing with this theme, Cardi went on… “Whatever karma they deserve, I think they already have it. “So why do you guys keep wishing that on a woman? Especially a woman that has a daughter? Sean Milliken, a former cast member on the long-running reality show, My 600-Lb. Life died on February 17 due to complications from an infection. He was 29 years old. This sad piece of news was confirmed by Sean’s father via an emotional Facebook post. “Sean was admitted into the hospital a couple days prior, because of an infection,” Matt Milliken wrote, adding in further detail: “Sunday he was having problems with his breathing, they were able to resuscitate him and a short time later his heart stopped.” The heartbroken father described his son as a “good man” with a “good heart” in this same message. According to Radar Online, Milliken was living in Texas in an apartment by himself prior to his death. His friend, Ashley Boone, told this celebrity gossip site that Sean would be remembered as a “special” guy,” adding: “He was definitely a loner and kept to himself but once you knew him he opened up and showed his witty side. He was extremely funny, artistic and kind.” Milliken appeared on one episode of My 600-lb Life back in 2016. The episode chronicled how he became bedridden during his senior year of high school after he grew to be over 400 pounds and suffered a debilitating leg injury. At one point, Milliken weighed as much as 900 pounds. The same year he appeared on this reality program, Milliken told People Magazine he was planning on moving to Houston to see if he could qualify for weight loss surgery. It’s unclear at the moment whether he ever followed up on this plan or went under the knife for any type of gastric bypass procedure. “I’m not 100 percent certain this is the right decision to make,” Sean said in a clip from the show, referring to his move. “I am extremely nervous about this trip. It’s going to take anywhere from 30 to 40 hours to drive there. I’m very worried about that. If I fall, we won’t be near the hospital for people to pick me up.” Sean also explained during his brief stint in the spotlight that he started his weight gain as a result of his rough relationship with his father. “It was scary. So I would eat. And suddenly I felt a lot better,” he said. “In that moment, nothing else mattered. … I felt like it was my fault, I felt like my family had fallen apart because of me. “So I kept going to food to deal with those feelings. I would get out of school and my mom would be at work, so I would just come home and go straight to the fridge. I’d eat everything and anything I could get my hands on. I “I started gaining probably 50 pounds. a year, and by the time I was in high school I was over 400 pounds.” Milliken is only the latest former star of My 600-lb Life to pass away. This isn’t really surprising, considering the health problems of those on whom this series chooses to focus. In August of 2018, James “L.B.” Bonner committed suicide . 90 Day Fiance star Larissa Lima hasn’t even been single for 40 days yet, but she’s back on the market. Given that she says that Colt wanted to bone every woman but her while they were together, that’s not really a surprise. Larissa then teases her fans: “Stay tuned for the results!” She concludes with the tag: “#makemebombshell.” Despite her mention of makeup, one of the photos that she teases makes it clear that she’s going further than that. We’re no makeup gurus, but we don’t think that most makeup routines involve a syringe. It is unclear if Larissa is getting fillers or perhaps something like botox. Either way, she makes it very clear that fans will not get to see the results just yet. Whatever you may think of Larissa’s behavior, on 90 Day Fiance or off-screen, she’s a beautiful woman. But we’re reasonably confident that she wouldn’t do anything to change that. That said, we do remember her confusion about 90 Day Fiance’s startlingly low payments to first-season stars. Larissa had the understandable expectation that being on a reality show would see her get a lot of money. At the time, she mentioned that she would have gotten cosmetic procedures if she had the cash. Larissa also shareda photo from Hottie Hair Salon and Extensions store. True to her word, she’s not showing off how her face looks just yet. “Hmm what to do to my hair????” Larissa asks her fans and followers. “I need new look.” To disguise her face, Larissa obscures it with a massive heart eyes emoji. Take a look: Some fans may be understandably concerned that Larissa is treating herself to a beauty makeover. Is she spending GoFundMe money that fans donated to help with her legal fees and living expenses on a luxury beauty glow-up? Probably not. Given Larissa’s level of fame, it seems likely that she was invited to do this, directly or through a management company. 90 Day Fiance is outrageously popular, so advertising through the show’s stars can give a product or store a lot of exposure. For some stars on the show, the chance to promote different brands for cash or free products makes up for how little they make from TLC. In case anyone might balk at dating a married woman, know that Larissa was served with divorce papers last month. Then, in February, she filed her formal response. If you're a Teen Mom 2 fan, then you're probably already aware that David Eason and Jenelle Evans don't have the most stable relationship. In fact, in the past six months alone, Jenelle accused David of assault; David received a visit from the Secret Service for issuing violent threats online, and as always, the Department of Child and Family Services took a keen interest in the Easons and their ability to raise children. The current season of TM2 has shown us that David recently became a major threat to Jenelle's career by menacing crew members while she's trying to film. ( Eason was fired from the show last year after launching a bigoted tirade against fans on social media.) So it didn't come as much of a surprise when Jenelle announced that she's single over the weekend. Of course, we've been down this road before, and these two always reconcile, usually within a day or two. This time, however, those who are rooting for Jenelle to stick to her guns and kick David to the curb have discovered some encouraging news on Eason's Facebook page. Take a look: 1. The Easons On the current season of Teen Mom 2, Jenelle often bursts into tears while defending David. But a lot has changed in the months since the season was filmed. 2. All the Single Ladies On Saturday, Jenelle changed her relationship status to “Separated” and posted that she’s “Single AF” on Facebook. 3. Not Thrilled About It As you can see, Jenelle was not in the greatest spirits over the weekend — but it looks as though she’s sticking to her guns. 4. Leaving the Land In fact, it seems she doesn’t know where David is at the moment — and doesn’t particularly care. 5. Also Single AF David quietly changed his relationship status to “Single” after Jenelle revealed she’s on the market. 6. Last week, we reported that Ronnie Ortiz-Magro has completed rehab after undergoing 30 days of treatment for alcoholism and depression. The troubled Jersey Shore star says he’s happier and healthier than ever now that he’s addressed his issues. And he says he owes it all to his best frenemy, Mike Sorrentino. As you may recall, Sorrentino is currently behind bars on tax evasion charges. But apparently, Ronnie was inspired by the manner in which Mike turned his troubled life around in the years before his sentence. “Mike definitely pushed me to get healthy. Just him being around was definitely an inspiration,” Ronnie told Us Weekly in a recent interview. Ronnie says he still communicates with Mike on a daily basis via email. “He was just like, ‘I’m proud of you … I’m glad that you finally got to your point,’” Ronnie said of the conversation in which he informed Mike of his sobriety. “He’s like, ‘People can try to push you and force you to do things that you want, but that’s not the way you get someone to do it. You have to want to do it.’” Of course, Rahn wouldn’t be Rahn if he didn’t slip in a good-natured joke at Mike’s expense. “We talk every day through email,” Ronnie said of Mike. “He’s doing great. He still has his positive attitude. He still sounds like he swallowed a book of poetry.” Magro went on to say that he attributes much of his erratic behavior on Shore to his struggles with alcohol and depression. And it was Mike who helped him to recognize the nature of his problem: “When you’re the way I was – just depressed, always angry, resentful and just regretful was a big thing – you look at him and you’re like, ‘I want that. I want to be positive,'” Ronnie says. As for Ronnie’s troubled relationship with Jen Harley , it seems the couple is still trying to make it work — although Ronnie seems resigned to the fact that there may be a breakup in his near future. “She’s always going to be the mother of my child, at the end of the day,” he told Us . “All I can do is control myself and the things that I do. “At the end of the day, I want to be the best father that I can be, and that means that I have to take care of myself. I can’t control her.” In conclusion, Ronnie says that he hopes he can inspire others in the way that The Situation inspired him: “I hope that it encourages a lot of people, whether it’s her or people in my family, or my friends,” he said. “I don’t want to be this person that’s this angry and resentful and just has so many regrets.” Clearly, Ronnie and Mike have come a long way since the days of their occasionally ugly roast battles.
