Earl Gibson III/Getty Images David Alan Grier Talks Fox’s “The Cool Kids” David Alan Grier  is making everyone laugh, per the usual, this time on Fox. The comedian/”In Living Color” legend recently chatted with Bossip at Roxbury Park after some Beverly Hills lawn club bowling, dinner and bingo for his new show “The Cool Kids.” David plays a “rusty, dusty” man named Hank who leads a crew of rambunctious retirement community living geezers who can’t help but get into wild adventures. Hank is joined by his buddies Sid, Charlie, and the very sassy Margaret, who bullies herself into the group and shows the boys she’s a boss. According to David, Hank is “very petty, very petty” and super hilarious. Not only that, “The Cool Kids”  differs greatly from his previous role on “The Carmichael Show” because of the humor, and because this time around he’s the only black person on the cast. The Carmichaels was so political and so cultural and that was really fun to do. This is not that, I’m the only black cool kid up in there, I’m an island, I’m holding down the whole race!” said Grier. JWoww Files For Divorce After 2 Years Of Marriage The Jersey Shore caused a few marriages to take place before its original iteration ended…and it looks like one of those unions has now come to an abrupt end. Jersey Shore watchers caught the courtship of Jenni “JWoww” Farley and the boo she picked up from the beach, Roger Mathews over the course of the last two seasons. The couple tied the knot back in 2015…but it seems that their marriage won’t quite make it to the next season of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation . According to TMZ , JWoww filed divorce docs in New Jersey 2 weeks ago, just a few days before their third wedding anniversary. She cited the reason as “irreconcilable differences,” and said that they’ve been navigating rough seas for at least the last six months. The couple shares two children, 4-year-old daughter Melani and 2-year-old son, Grayson. SMH! Welp, reality TV isn’t exactly known for fostering and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships. Hopefully, these two can find happiness separately. We’re guessing Jenni is about to turn up now that she’s about to be back on the shore AND back on the market. Getty

Dad Arrested For Stuffing 3-year-old in Trunk as "Social Media Experiment"

Welp. This is a new one. A Chicago man was arrested this month after witnesses spotted him stuffing his three-year old son into the trunk of his car. “You are being bad and I’m going to punish you by putting you in the trunk,” Matlak screamed at his child after putting him in the trunk, onlookers told police. The temperature outside was 89 degrees at the time, according to a Norridge Police Department report. HOWEVER, the man, Boguslaw Matlak, and his wife, Laura Quijano told authorities that they were not actually punishing their child. Instead, were trying to gauge and understand public reaction to child endangerment when they turned on a hidden camera themselves and filmed Matlak placing their infant in the trunk of their vehicle. They say it was was parked in public view (outside of a restaurant in Norridge, a suburb of Chicago) for this specific reason. “I was thinking maybe I should do a video to show people that they should do something about it when they see something wrong, to get involved,” Matlak told NBC Chicago of the September 2 incident. He was simply conducting a social media experience, Matlak argues. Three people were sitting near where Matlak’s Audi was – parked outside of a Panera Bread – and told the responding officer that after shutting the trunk, Matlak quickly got into the car and sped away. Matlak said at the time to the cop that he was hioping to become an “Internet sensation.” He said he had done the same trunk prank with his child twice before, yet no one had reacted. The officer listened to Matlak’s excuse and went to check on the three-year old, who was found safe and sound with his mother.  Quijano told the officer that the back seat in the car had actually been folded down … that she had been inside at the time… and that she grabbed her son right away and pulled him into the seat alongside her. Matlak was arrested and charged with endangering the life of a child. The toddler was sent by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services to live with a relative for more than three weeks, but was then returned to his parents on Wednesday. “We’re still investigating,” a department spokesman has told NBC News. Rina Infelise, Quijano’s lawyer, told NBC that her client and her husband have always been consistent, saying: “From what I know the story has always been the same – it was a social experiment… “There were five cameras used. It was pretty planned out.” And pretty darn stupid.

Matt Brown, Alaskan Bush People Star, Checks Into Rehab

Matt Brown has taken the first step in his hopeful path to recovery. The Alaskan Bush People star has admitted he needs help. Speaking to People Magazine, the Discovery Channel personality says he is checking into rehab for the second time in order to receive assistance for a dependency on alcohol. “I struggle with substance abuse, and after a year of ups and downs, I decided to return to treatment,” the oldest Brown son tells the publication in this week’s issue. He adds: “I’m really grateful for everyone’s support and hope to have my life back on track soon.” The reality star first entered a treatment facility of this nature in the spring of 2016. What made him realize that he had to try again and that he had to turn his life around? “I could see myself spiraling,” Brown explains, acknowledging that he had been spending more and more time drinking over the previous year. “I was more withdrawn. I was slower. Things didn’t excite me the way they used to.” On a recent episode of Alaskan Bush People, Matt got injured while helping to build the family’s new residence. Overall, meanwhile, the Browns have been through a whole lot over the past two years; most notably, of course, the loved ones have been dealing with matriarch Ami’s very serious lung cancer diagnosis . It was believeed for awhile that Ami would not survive the Stage 4 illness, but she remains a major part of the series and of the family. Due to her need for medical care, however, the Browns have left Alaska and settled in rural Washington. Now, they’ll be without Matt for an unspecified period of time. (It’s unclear at the moment just where Matt will receive treatment and for how long he will be there.) “It’s hard not having one of my babies here with us,” says Ami, who is now cancer-free, yet has been informed she should undergo tests every three months for the rest of her life. “He was so strong for me, and I want to be strong for him,” she adds to People. “We miss him terribly, but we’d rather lose him from home for a little while than lose him forever,” dad Billy says. “We just want him to do what he needs to do to get better.” Amen. This time US Weekly says that just five months after being caught cheating on Khloe just days before she gave birth to their daughter True, Cleveland Cavaliers center, Thompson, who is 27 was spotted by an eyewitness canoodling with another woman at L.A.’s Warwick nightclub on September 20: “Tristan and a girl were chatting and flirting throughout the night,” a partygoer reveals in the new issue of Us Weekly. “They were very touchy-feely. He had his hand on her butt.” Sources close to the couple say that it doesn’t matter what anybody else saw — Khloe isn’t going to buy it unless she’s seeing it with her own eyes. “Khloé believes every word Tristan tells her,” says a source close to the mom of daughter True, 5 months. “They’ll stay together.” If you hadn’t already heard, Khloe has every intention of moving back to Cleveland with True when Tristan’s NBA season resumes and there’s absolutely nothing her friends and family can do to convince her to stay in Los Angeles. “Everyone is flabbergasted, but her family has learned to keep their opinions quiet,” reveals the insider. “People underestimate the threshold of what she’ll put up with for love.” The new allegations come on the tail of an insider revealing to US Weekly that the couple were “doing better than anyone could have expected” after the first cheating scandal. “Tristan has promised Khloé he will never betray her again,” the insider revealed. “She believes him.” Khloe is obviously a very loyal woman. She stuck with Lamar through drug addiction and cheating. Now she’s sticking with Tristan through public embarrassment. What would you do if you were in her shoes?

Paul John Vasquez, Former Sons of Anarchy Actor, Dead at 48

Paul John Vasquez, a veteran actor likely best known to television fans for his role on Sons of Anarchy, died of a heart attack on Monday night, according to multiple news outlets. He was 48 years old. “This news has come as a surprise to us,” a representative for Vasquez People Magazine, adding somberly: “Our hearts are heavy. He was a kind, creative and loving man. He will be missed.” According to TMZ, Vasquez was at his father’s home in San Jose when he suffered the apparent heart attack. He did found him unconscious and called the paramedics, but they were never able to revive him. The cause of death has not yet been made official and remains, as of this writing, under investigation. You very likely recognize Vasquez, even if you weren’t able to immediately place him upon seeing his face. The actor enjoyed a number of small roles on a number of very populr TV shows, such as Sons of Anarchy, How I Met Your Mother, NYPD Blue and CSI: NY. He appeared on the FX drama in 2011 for two episodes as the character of Angel Ganz and is actually the second Sons of Anarchy player to have been found dead in recent months. Back in June, Alan O’Neil – who appeared at various times on the final two seasons of this series – was discovered dead by his girlfriend , although no foul play was suspected The L.A. County Coroner’s Office spokeswoman previously said that O’Neill, who portrayed Hugh on the critically acclaimed program, died of sequelae of chronic ethanol (alcohol) overconsumption. Vasquez, meanwhile, was born and raised in San Jose, California. After graduating college in 1988, he moved to Los Angeles in order to pursue acting as a full-time living. Prior to his sudden passing, he set to star in the short Thug Alley, as well as Spody Gets His Gunz, two projects which he actually wrote. The actor was also scheduled to appear in the action thriller Lone Wolf. Vasquez made his small screen debut the same year in the show Private Eye, contining from then on to establish himself as a character actor over the next few decades. Meghan Markle: Okay, THIS is Why She Must Be Pregnant

This is it, folks. We’ve finally uncovered the evidence we’ve been clamoring for, Royal Family followers. There can be no doubt at this point that  Meghan Markle is pregnant with her first baby and we’ll soon be blessed with a Prince Harry lookalike and the world will be a better place and we’re so happy we could just burst out in tears at any moment. We can at last say this with confidence because of the way Markle is wearing her hair these days. Wait… WHAT? It’s true, or at least theorized. Typically, the Duchess of Sussex wears her hair in loose waves or messy buns. However, she changed things up this past Monday when she ditched her signature look for a pin-straight blowout — and one magazine writer believes it’s a sign she’s with child. Allow her to explain… “Because I am a journalist and I care about these things, I combed through 60+ pages of the latest pictures of Meghan and found that she hasn’t worn her hair like this since at least before her wedding to Prince Harry,” explains Cosmpolitan’s Emma Baty. Okay, we’ll go along with that. Please tell us more, Emma. In her article, which was published on Monday, Baty wondered if the former Suits actress might be following in the footsteps (hairsteps?) of Kate Middleton.  You see, Middleton debuted a similar hairstyle in September of 2017, mere days before Kensington Palace announced that she and Prince William were expecting Prince Louis. With Princess Charlotte, she had gray roots. A week prior to revealing her Prince George pregnancy, Kate got bangs. On Twitter a year ago, Kate Proctor of the U.K.’s Evening Standard suggested that Middleton made these decisions based on what was happening in her womb. “Pattern is Duchess of Cambridge changes her hairstyle, people concentrate on her head, then announces pregnancy,” Proctor wrote on social in September of last year. A few weeks ago, the Internet also got excited over a potential Markle pregnancy because sources claimed her mother was moving to London and that she had been taking infant care classes in anticipation of being a grandmother. Prior to that , similar excitement spread around the World Wide Web because websites claimed that Markle and Harry were asking for two nurseries to be put in their renovated residence. The truth of the matter, however, is that we simply don’t know. Not right now, at least. We’ve heard the same chatter you have about Harry just giving it to Meghan raw on a near-nightly basis in an attempt to make a baby. And we have no doubt that one will bless the couple somewhere down the line.
