But we’re told producers now are hustling to keep their options open and have been quietly preparing for a new season without her. “They don’t know where it stands with Teresa doing the show or not doing the show or when she’s getting out,” said an insider. “So they’re prepping for either way. Anyway, they need to shake up the cast — last season’s cast was terrible.” With several veteran cast members — including Jacqueline Laurita, Caroline Manzo and Kathy Wilke — having departed as full-time cast members, fans didn’t warm to a mixed bag of newcomers in the show’s sixth season. Producers hope that Traci Lynn Johnson, wife of former Giant and ex-“Today” show correspondent Barber, can take Giudice’s place. This should be interesting.
