What Kind Of Sorcery: Fashion Nova Knocks Off Kim K’s Outfit Just Hours After She Asks Them Not To

Source: E! Entertainment / Getty Kim Kardashian Gets Ripped Off By Fashion Nova Once Again Once you see a Kardashian wearing something–whether it’s on the red carpet or just chilling poolside–chances are you’ll be able to pick-up a knock-off of that exact garment for under $40 within just a couple of hours. Of course, the Kardashian klan isn’t oblivious to this and they know by posting photos of their outfits, they’re exposing some pretty precious info. With the looks her husband Kanye curates for Kim, she’s the most likely to get ripped off–and she knows that fact well. So when posting a fitting room picture on Friday, she had a message specifically for fast fashion brands in her caption. The star wrote, “P.S. fast fashion brands, can you please wait until I wear this in real life before you knock it off?” But unsurprisingly, Fashion Nova–the final boss of fast fashion brands–had a different idea, and they had a copy of Kim’s look ready before the day was over. They had some words for Kim too, writing, “Hey @KimKardashian, We Just Couldn’t Help Ourselves” cheekily naming the bodysuit/skirt combo “The IRL Skirt Set.”   So just about 12 hours later, consumers can buy the same think Kim Kardashian was wearing for an affordable price…what kind of sorcery is this?! Some people theorize that the Kardashians are in on a deal with the brand since these clothes are being churned out so quickly. Though Kylie Jenner has collaborated with Fashion Nova in the past, Kim very notably declined a million dollar check from the brand at the request of Kanye (who later paid her that same, hefty amount to work with Yeezy). Reps for FN have said their designers can create anything in a day and that they have an in-house photo studio with models ready to take photos in these newly made garments. In conclusion: If you’re a Fashion Nova shopper, you just might walk out of the house wearing the same thing as Kim Kardashian one day.

Black History Month Almost Takes An L While Black Women Continue To Shine: This Week’s Winners & Losers

Source: NurPhoto / Getty Black History Month was sooo close to losing this first full week of February. The racist ridiculousness was something serious.  But as the ancestors said before us, still we rise. Check out the losers for the week below, then hit the next page to find out who helped save what was left of Black History month! Losers People who don’t know what racism is Clearly, racism needs to get more airtime in school classrooms because it seems people still don’t understand the full weight of the phenomenon. The topic received a lot of attention this week starting with Liam Neeson who revealed that he once went looking to kill a “Black bastard” after his friend said she was raped by a Black man. Neeson explained himself on Good Morning America   and how he regretted his feelings at the time. However, he never once said that his actions and sentiments were racist. As a matter of fact, he went on to say “I’m not racist, this was nearly 40 years ago.”   Sorry Liam, that was racist. Find out why here. The non-acknowledgement of racism didn’t stop here, however. The next day, Neeson’s co-star in the movie Widows Michelle Rodriguez had the audacity to defend Neeson by saying: “Dude, have you watched  Widows ? His tongue was so far down  Viola Davis’  throat. You can’t call him a racist ever. Racists don’t make out with the race that they hate, especially in the way he does with his tongue—so deep down her throat. I don’t care how good of an actor you are. It’s all bullsh**. Ignore it. He’s not a racist.”   Father help us. I guess Michelle missed that unit on Black fetishization in her 5th grade history class. And guess what Michelle? It’s all tied to the one big family of… R A C I S M.   And finally, you’d think after think pieces, Twitter rants and Facebook arguments, people would understand that blackface is bad and also has ties to racism , right? Naw. According to a recent YouGov poll , only 58 percent of Americans believe blackface is bad. Meanwhile, Gucci is making blackface sweaters and current Democrat leaders, like Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam , are being pinned for their blackface past. *Sigh* Either  A LOT of teaching needs to be done or people just don’t care. Either way, racism is clearly still alive.

Liam Neeson Wanted to Kill a "Black Bastard" After Friend Was Raped

For decades, Liam Neeson has enjoyed a place as one of Hollywood’s most beloved and bankable stars. But the Taken star may have just done irreparable damage to his reputation with one appalling comment. Neeson has been on a promotional tour for his new film, Cold Pursuit , which — like most of his recent projects — finds the Irish actor on a bloody quest for revenge after one of his loved ones is victimized. The plot of the film prompted Neeson to reflect on a time when he had been driven mad by a thirst for vengeance in his real life. He recalled an instance that occurred in his youth, in which a close friend of his was raped. “God forbid you’ve ever had a member of your family hurt under criminal conditions,” Neeson told The Independent . “She handled the situation of the rape in the most extraordinary way,” he added. “But my immediate reaction was … I asked, did she know who it was? No. What color were they? She said it was a black person.” Neeson went on to shock fans by revealing that he fantasized about exacting some sort of race-based violence. “I went up and down areas with a cosh [bludgeon], hoping I’d be approached by somebody — I’m ashamed to say that … hoping some ‘black bastard’ would come out of a pub and have a go at me about something, you know? So that I could … kill him,” Neeson recalled. Neeson went on to reveal that he behaved in this fashion for “a week, maybe a week and a half … [My friend] would say, ‘Where are you going?’ and I would say, ‘I’m just going out for a walk.’ ‘What’s wrong?’ ‘No, no, nothing’s wrong.’ ” “It was horrible, horrible, when I think back, that I did that. And I’ve never admitted that, and I’m saying it to a journalist. God forbid,” he added. “It’s awful. But I did learn a lesson from it, when I eventually thought, ‘What the f—k are you doing?’ “ We think it’s safe to say the whole world was happier not knowing about Liam’s past tendencies toward violent racism — and yet at the same time, maybe it’s a good thing he foolishly shared this story with the world. It’s a reminder of the sad fact that even seemingly progressive-minded longtime public figures like Liam Neeson are capable of shocking bigotry. Starring in Schindler’s List is apparently no guarantee that a person never harbored race-based violent fantasies. The actions that Neeson describes here are unforgivable, but if there’s a mitigating circumstance to be found, it’s that he may have suffered some sort of trauma as a result of his friend’s rape. The Independent consulted with an expert in rape and trauma, who revealed that it’s not uncommon for loved ones of victims to lash out and project in the fashion Neeson described: “Often it is less obvious to the loved ones of survivors that they might actually need support in dealing with their emotions themselves, just like the survivors,” she told the paper. “They experience a secondary form of trauma, she explains. Some start thinking about what they could have done differently, and they may contemplate seeking retribution.” Obviously, none of that makes it okay that Neeson stalked the streets of Dublin hoping to bludgeon a black man, but at least it’s a step toward understanding how such thinking might be possible. Perhaps anticipating the backlash to his insane remarks, Neeson went on to reveal that he had been desensitized to violence “I knew a couple of guys that died on hunger strike, and I had acquaintances who were very caught up in the Troubles, and I understand that need for revenge, but it just leads to more revenge, to more killing and more killing, and Northern Ireland’s proof of that,” he said. “All this stuff that’s happening in the world, the violence, is proof of that. But that primal need, I understand.” Neeson and his reps have not commented on this story.

Bella Hadid Pussy Print of the Day

Bella Hadid has a really hard face…one would say a man face….definitely not a face of a model…which I guess isn’t saying much because the fashion world is run by gay dudes and the marketing world is run by 22 year olds….two things I am so far removed from…which would explain why her hype confuses me… I am an old man who likes women who look like women. I am also a traditionalist in that I don’t mind nepotism if it is warranted. Like if it makes sense. All the celebrity rich kids of the past were not the best for the job, sure, but they were able to pull off the job…. Bella Hadid isn’t even a product of nepotism, sure she’s a rich kid and her career was bought, but her dad was a real estate developer and her stage mom who pushed her into i claims to be a model, and was a big enough model to end up with a rich pervert like her dad, but he’s the kind of guy who hangs with the grey area prostitutes model types, who like the good life and don’t mind selling their soul to the rich guy for the good life…since he is into that!!! She exists….because of social media, her sister’s fame and the fact that everyone is queer and like trans. JOIN THE NEWSLETTER YOU ASSHOLES! Bebe Rexha Blasts Designers For Shadily Shunning Her Size 6 Frame Because She’s “Too THICK”

Source: NBC / Getty Bebe Rexha’s Curvy Caucasian Bawwwdy Holding Her Back? Singer, songwriter Bebe Rexha is putting the fashion industry on blast for openly oppressing her curvacious body. The 29-year-old pop star recently scored a Grammy nomination for the best new artist categor and she’s finding it rather difficult to land a designer who will fit her for next month’s awards show. Bebe shared her frustration on Monday in a video posted to Twitter. “So, I finally get nominated at the Grammys and it’s like, the coolest thing ever. And a lot of times, artists will go and talk to designers and they’ll make them custom dresses to walk the red carpet. I had my team hit out a lot of designers, and a lot of them do not want to dress me because I’m too big. Literally, I’m too big,” Rexha lamented. “If a size 6/8 is too big, then I don’t know what to tell you. Then I don’t want to wear your f—ing dresses. ‘Cause that’s crazy. You’re saying that all the women in the world that are size 8 and up are not beautiful and they cannot wear your dresses.” Im sorry, I had to get this off my chest. If you don’t like my fashion style or my music that’s one thing. But don’t say you can’t dress someone that isn’t a runway size. We are beautiful any size! Small or large! Anddddd My size 8 ass is still going to the Grammys. #LOVEYOURBODY pic.twitter.com/0nqdjXf0Dw — Bebe Rexha (@BebeRexha) January 21, 2019 SMH! That’s just ridiculous. After the post went up, Bebe scored support from fans and even from Tyra Banks, Ms. Body Positive! Tyra said Bebe was extra special and called the designers who passed up her frame DUMB. The day I met You n Toronto, I knew U were xtra special. R impromptu posing lesson backstage was MAJOR. You stuck that leg & hip out & Tooched & Smized at the same time. Those designers that don’t wanna dress U are DUMB. U my dear @BebeRexha are pure genius…H2T – head to toe! https://t.co/UwCGyIJTcB — Tyra Banks (@tyrabanks) January 22, 2019 What do you think about Bebe’s curves? Any suggestion on what she should wear to the show instead? More of her after the flip. Continue reading
