Sam Shepard, an actor and Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright most recently seen in the Netflix drama Bloodline, was arrested on suspicious of drunk driving Monday. After being pulled over in Santa Fe, the 71-year-old told a police officer that he had two drinks of tequila and was on his way home. “Our officer could smell alcohol on his breath, and he had bloodshot, watery eyes,” Santa Fe police Lt. Andrea Dobyns said. She added that Shepherd refused to take a breath test, yet he did perform a field sobriety test, which he failed. Shepard was arrested on a charge of aggravated driving while intoxicated outside La Choza restaurant in downtown and released on bond Tuesday afternoon. Watch the above video for more.

McDonald’s has teamed up with Harlem’s Fashion Row to give one lucky designer a huge opportunity: McDonald’s USA has joined forces with Harlem’s Fashion Row™ (HFR) to challenge college students to showcase lovin’ through fashion via the 2015 Lovin’ Student Fashion Design Competition. One grand prize winner will receive the opportunity of a lifetime – his or her limited-edition lovin’ line of T-shirts and hooded sweatshirts will be displayed and distributed at HFR’s Shop, Brunch and Be Social event during the fall New York Fashion Week, where the winner will also attend HFR’s Fashion Show. In addition to the line being photographed by a fashion photographer, the winner will receive a one-on-one lunch and mentoring session with Bravo’s “Fashion Queens” host Bevy Smith. Let it be known that what follows is no April Fool’s joke. In fact, this is serious. Though we aren’t sure how serious the tone of the movie will be, sources confirm the duo will star in the forthcoming Lifetime movie titled A Deadly Adoption.
