The 29-year-old artist took to Instagram this morning to share a photo of herself practicing hip exercises following surgery in 2013 to repair an injury she sustained on stage. But most eyes have been focused on a body part aside from Lady Gaga’s hips… look at that concave stomach! “Up early for hip exercise! I have to do these everyday to keep my hip strong, otherwise I have pain,” the singer wrote, perhaps anticipating some backlash and adding: “(fyi I’m not really that thin it’s just the strech! Trust me!).” Lady Gaga’s weight has often come under scrutiny, though she’s come under fire in the past for gaining weight.
