Wow… Robert De Niro Reveals His Father’s Homosexuality In a new documentary film Robert De Niro is producing on the life of his deceased father, the Oscar-winning actor reveals the secret that led to his parents’ split when he was only 3 years old. Via RadarOnline : Robert De Niro says his father was gay. The legendary actor makes the personal revelation in an upcoming documentary which he “felt obligated” to make about the late artist Robert De Niro Sr., who died 21 years ago after a bout with cancer. “It was my responsibility to make a documentary about him,” the Taxi Driver star tells OUT magazine, admitting a pang of regret over the wall of silence surrounding his patriarch. “I was not aware, much, of it. I wish we had spoken about it much more — my mother didn’t want to talk about things in general, and you’re not interested when you’re a certain age.” The Cape Fear star, whose parents split when he was just 3-years-old, said he figured his father probably had inner turmoil over his sexuality, due to the social climate of his day, “being from that generation, especially from a small town upstate.” Goes to prove that Black gay men are NOT the only ones down-low living ! Father Likely To Avoid Charges For Killing Teen He Mistook For Intruder The unfortunate case of a 17-year-old boy who lost his life at the hands of a father who killed him after his daughter snuck the boy into their home but later claimed no to know him is likely to have an ending that the boy’s family will certainly not be happy with according to a local prosecutor. via Fox News The Houston father who police say fatally shot a 17-year-old boy who was inside his daughter’s bedroom early Thursday morning will likely not be charged, an area prosecutor told MyFoxHouston.com. Although a grand jury will review the case, prosecutor Warren Diepraam said it is unlikely that the father will be charged. “What was going on in the person’s mind at the time of the shooting, [not] what they found out after the fact” is key, Diepraam said. “They’re looking at what he was thinking when he made the decision to shoot.” He reportedly found the teen in bed with his daughter and confronted him. His daughter apparently told him she did not know the boy. The father said he told the teen not to move, but reportedly saw the teen reach for something, at which point police say the father opened fire. The teen did not have a gun. His daughter later confessed that she snuck her boyfriend, 17, into the house, the report said. “We don’t know if the father knew him or not,” Sgt. Ben Bell with the Harris County Sheriff’s Department, told the station. The family had just moved into the neighborhood. Do you think this father should be charged, Bossip fam?

According to ESPN: While Michael Sam has mostly received an outpouring of support since announcing that he is gay, his father is struggling with the news, according to a published report. Sam revealed to his Missouri teammates he is gay last August, but he didn’t disclose his sexual orientation to his parents until last week. He said Sunday in interviews with ESPN’s “Outside The Lines” and The New York Times that he is gay. Michael Sam Sr. told The New York Times that he received the news last Tuesday when his son wrote in a text: “Dad, I’m gay.” Sam’s father took the news hard. He said he was eating at a Denny’s restaurant but had to leave after receiving the text. “I couldn’t eat no more, so I went to Applebee’s to have drinks,” Sam Sr. told the newspaper. “I don’t want my grandkids raised in that kind of environment.” Sam Sr., who described himself as “old-school,” told the newspaper the idea of a gay player in the NFL bothers him, even when that person could be his own son. He told the newspaper that late Hall of Famer Deacon Jones, the leader of the Rams’ Fearsome Foursome who is credited with terming the word sack, “is turning over in his grave.” He told the newspaper, however, that he loves his son and hopes he makes it into the NFL. “As a black man, we have so many hurdles to cross.
