School Suspends 12-Year-Old Girl For Selling What They Think Are “Sex Toys” A pre-teen in Wisconsin has been suspended from school because her principal believes that she was selling sex toys to her fellow students. The girl’s family thinks the principal is insane. According to a report in TMJ , the school board at Trinity Lutheran School in Racine, WI ruled that the toy that the girl’s father calls “water snake wiggles” was inappropriate even though the girl had permission from her teacher to sell them. “In your wildest imaginations, no adult could possibly view this as a sex toy, this is a water-filled bag,” said Milt Habeck, the father of the girl. Its said that the father plans to continue fighting the school until his daughter is cleared of wrongdoing. Seems like the school administration’s mind is a lot dirtier than the young girl’s is. Remember when Kellyanne Conway abused her power and position by going on Fox News and telling Americans to buy Ivanka Trump’s products ? If your head exploded at the sight of a government official going full-QVC during a policy interview, you have our condolences. Unfortunately, the rest of us are left to ponder the implications of such an abomination of democracy, and now some modern day John Adamses are taking the matter to court: Modern Appealing Clothing (okay, so like, John Adams if he worked for that fashion company from Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter’s Dead) is suing Ivanka over what it calls an “unfair advantage” in the marketplace. The San Francisco-based retailer says Ivanka’s sales have been boosted by 700% due to her father’s influence as P–sy-Grabber-in-Chief. (No word on how the company came by those figures.) Conway’s endorsement came on the heels of Nordstrom’s decision to remove Ivanka’s clothing line from its stores. The Trump administration (by which we mean Donald’s tweets) has argued that Ivanka’s business interests have actually suffered as a result of her father’s presidency. However, MAC and the rest of the world is all like, “Nah, bruh.” While Trump has proven to be an expert at losing money (USFL, we hardly knew ye.), no family has ever been made poorer by the presidency. Jimmy Carter sold his peanut farm in 1976, but in the decades since, he’s become America’s favorite kindly grandfather, and ironically, he probably has a place reserved in heaven that’s decked out with more gold than Trump Tower. Okay, almost as much gold. Trump’s getting the best of both worlds, as he’s become the most powerful man in the world without making good on his promise to divest from his business interests. Can you imagine being a foreign leader traveling to D.C. and not staying at the Trump Hotel? You can just forget about a handshake after pulling that stunt, hombre. The reality is, we’ll probably never know how much the Trump family has enriched itself at the expense of the American people. Just when we thought Teen Mom 2 star Kailyn Lowry was over Javi Marroquin comes a cryptic tweet that has made us question everything. Everything. They recently got divorced, and despite rumors that Javi might be the father , it;s all but certain that Kailyn is pregnant by another man. That recent revelation, which shocked the reality TV world last month, seemed to be the nail in the coffin for their relationship, as it were. Or what was left of it. Given the rampant accusations of cheating while they were married, and the fact that she told Javi she didn’t want more kids with him? It’s no surprise he didn’t take the news of her pregnancy well, let’s just put it that way (even if his own actions leave a lot to be desired). Still, she posted a tweet over the weekend that left her fans wondering if she may still be longing for the good old days – with her husband: “The hardest thing you can ever do,” the MTV star writes, not at all looking for attention, “is let go of someone you’re still in love with.” A general philosophical observation? Or perhaps a melancholy declaration of a love for a former partner that has not fully faded away? (Of course, Kail’s “pinned” tweet from last week is a not-so-subtle dig at Javi, who she says “did me dirty,” so make of that what you will.) Lowry has also continuously claimed to be over Javi, and clearly moved on to another guy, or guys, so what does Kailyn’s tweet mean? Well, it may not be about Javi, though it’s unclear if she was “in love” with rumored baby daddies JC Cueva, Tyler Hill or Chris Lopez . Or it may be entirely about Javi, and she’s reflecting on how it’s hard to let go of a marriage … even though she has and will do that. In fact, she’s been pretty candid about the need to move on, and critical of Javi – the father of her son Lincoln – for not doing the same. “I feel bad that he hasn’t moved on as quickly as I did,” she said last week, and not in reference to her having a baby with someone else. Kailyn said Javi broke into her house and even sought a protective order from him (though neither party says he abused her physically). For his part, Marroquin has made it a point not to comment directly on Kail’s pregnancy, though he’s taken plenty of shots at her lately. “I don’t need your “friendship” don’t play mother Theresa now,” he tweeted during last week’s show, when she spoke of being friends. “Friendship and co parenting are 2 different things.” The pair will always be in each other’s lives because of Lincoln, but clearly Javi has some work to do internally as he processes this. Co-parenting isn’t just about the kid – in fact, the kid would be the #1 beneficiary if mom and dad stopped fighting in person and online. Just saying. A little free advice for you kids there. Regarding the baby’s father (again, we just can’t see it being Javi), she’s not saying, but we know that he is “a friend Kail was briefly dating.” For now, it remains a mystery … and one that will likely eat away at the man who was upset that she didn’t want more kids with him. You’re probably also aware that the identity of Kailyn’s baby daddy remains a mystery. At this point, it’s anyone’s guess as to who may have knocked Kailyn up for the third time, but not surprisingly, fans have done some digging, and some likely candidates have emerged. According to online sleuths and the tabloid media, the father of Kailyn’s baby is probably either her longtime friend Tyler Hill, Teen Mom 2 producer J.C. Cueva, or a man named Chris Lopez, whom Kailyn appears to have dated shortly after parting ways with Javi Marroquin. The bulk of evidence seems to point to Lopez being the father , and a new clue may have confirmed that theory. According to Radar Online, in an Instagram live stream, Kailyn appears to have let-slip the name of her baby daddy. The clip is no longer available, but those who have seen it describe it like this: Lowry and a friend are seen discussing potential baby names. Kailyn’s friend suggests naming the kid Holden, and that’s when the bomb drops: “Chris would say, ‘I’m Holden the baby!’” Kailyn joked while streaming live. Those who were watching say Kailyn covered the mic and the stream ended shortly thereafter. The clip appears to have been scrubbed from the Internet, but that hasn’t stopped fans from discussing the footage on social media. “So the dad is Chris,” one fan wrote on Kailyn’s Instagram page. “She said it was Chris, I’m pretty positive!” another commented. Reached for comment, Kailyn’s reps remained tight-lipped on the matter. Thus far, her team has yet to reveal any information with regard to the father’s identity or even as to whether or not he’ll be involved in the child’s upbringing. “We don’t know how involved the father will be,” Lowry’s manager said in a recent statement. “Kail will release that information when she’s ready.” If the description of the clip is accurate we think it’s safe to draw two conclusions: 1. For many of those who are old enough to remember a time when music was purchased in brick and mortar stores and MTV played videos, it’s difficult to believe that it’s been nearly 23 years since Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain took his own life . Though only 27 at the time of his death, Cobain’s influence on the music world was so profound that one seldom hears a conversation about the cultural climate of the ’90s in which his name isn’t mentioned. Sadly, Cobain’s daughter, Frances Bean Cobain, has few memories of her father, as she was four months shy of her second birthday when he died. There’s a tragic irony in the fact that the most potent living reminder of Cobain’s inimitable style, droll humor, and artistic temperament doesn’t remember the man herself, but Frances is clearly acutely aware of the ways in which she’s been influenced by her iconic father. Today would have been Cobain’s 50th birthday. The occasion has prompted outpourings of grief and nostalgia from family, friends, and fans, but perhaps no tribute is as moving as the one paid by Frances early this morning. The 24-year-old posted the following image of a handwritten note to her Instagram page: “Today would have been your 50th birthday. You are loved and you are missed,” the message reads. “Thank you for giving me the gift of life. Forever your daughter, Frances Bean Cobain.” In the past, Frances has spoken with surprising candor about her troubled father’s short life and death. “The world demanded it of him,” Frances said of her father’s suicide in an interview last year. “I think that was one of the main triggers as to why he felt he didn’t want to be here and everyone would be happier without him.” She added: “In reality, if he had lived,…I would have had a dad. And that would have been an incredible experience.” Early in life, Frances faced challenges few young people encounter (she was estranged from her mother, Courtney Love), throughout much of her life, she seems to have developed into a surprisingly stable and grounded adult. She’s mended fences with Love, endured a high-profile divorce with dignity, and built a career for herself as a a visual artist. Nothing can make up for the absence of a parent in a child’s life, but we hope Frances finds some comfort in knowing how proud she would’ve made her father.
So at this point, it's very single day that Donald Trump, his administration, and/or his family do something awful, right? He's only been president for a few weeks now, but it feels like a few eternities, at least. For the latest act of absurdity, Ivanka Trump has shared a picture of herself sitting at the desk in the Oval Office while her father and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau stand beside her. “A great discussion with two world leaders about the importance of women having a seat at the table!” — that's what she actually wrote for the caption. Ivanka isn't an elected official, and she doesn't even have an official title on Trump's staff. But yeah, sure, she's in on meetings with other leaders and can sit at that desk. Why not, right? But we don't need to tell you why that is ridiculous. Because Twitter as a whole came together to break it down for us all. 1.
