Weekend Forecast: Can Other Guys Bungle Past the $30 Million Mark?

Due to some internal shuffling and the utter abstraction of of its name, the feature known as Movieline Attractions will not be seen this morning (or probably ever again). Welcome instead to Movieline’s Weekend Forecast, your one-stop guide to everything new, noteworthy and/or rescued from oblivion at the movies. This week, it takes a pair of cops to vanquish Christopher Nolan, yet another 3D effort kicks and shimmies your way, and the art-house glut continues. Read on for the full forecast:

Kellan Lutz: Totally Da Man!

Hold on a second, Robert Pattinson . Just one moment please, Taylor Lautner . While you two studs are out soaking up all the attention and promotion for Eclipse , co-star Kellan Lutz has a message to send: I’m Da Man! The young actor proves as much in the latest issue of Da Man , a style magazine whose tagline reads: Consummate style for the consummate bon vivant. That might as well translate into HOT PHOTOS OF A MAJOR BEEFCAKE in this instance… In the feature article, Lutz is asked about obsessed Twilight fans. He replies with this story: “One fan tried to handcuff herself to me. She wanted to take me home. I thought she was joking, but she had really brought along some handcuffs!” That’s crazy… or brilliant. How many readers out there would handcuff themselves to Kellan for a night?

REVIEW: Kitsch Overload, Sparse Laughs Weigh Down MacGruber

Every era has its excesses, its mullets, its chunky removable car cassette players, its Quarterflash. But MacGruber, the feature-length comedy adapted from the strange, slender recurring Saturday Night Live skit, relies too heavily on the idea that the past — corny, irrelevant, suffering from chronic bad taste — is funny by itself. The drag is that when you’ve seen one Blaupunkt, you’ve seen them all.

Has A User Found A Way To Add "Other OS" Back To The PlayStation 3?

Last week , Sony’s newest PlayStation 3 firmware update removed the system’s ability to install other operating systems on your PS3. Time constraints and a lack of interest have prevented me from ever installing a new operating system in my PlayStation 3, and I imagine I’m in the huge majority here, but

Rielle Hunter Knew All About Sexy Photos, GQ Says

Rielle Hunter’s GQ photo spread, which John Edwards’ mistress was supposedly so repulsed by , was done with her full knowledge and consent, the magazine says. The weird videographer claimed, following the release of the feature story on her, that she thought it would only include head shots, not sexy, body-baring pics. GQ is calling BS on that statement. “Rielle is a smart woman. She knows exactly what she wore and what she was doing in the photo shoot,” said GQ reporter Lisa DePaulo on Good Morning America . What she wore? Not a lot! The magazine’s Rielle Hunter pictures show her wearing only a man’s button down white shirt, a string of pearls and panties. Revolting. How dare GQ con Rielle Hunter into posing like this?! In some of the pics she is posed on a bed with stuffed animals piled around her, panties peeking out. You don’t end up there with no pants on by mistake, Rielle. Just the same, a tearful Hunter told ABC News’ Barbara Walters she was repulsed by seeing the sexy photo shoot and thought “all but one would be headshots.” But GQ released a video of the shoot to defend itself, and at one point a videographer asks Hunter, “You want to take a look at this?” She does. Approvingly. So in conclusion, we can state two things with full confidence: Rielle Hunter has no credibility, although that’s not shocking from a woman who slept with a married man and helped conceal their love child together. Somewhere, John Edwards is loving these pictures.

Aaron Kelly vs. Siobhan Magnus: Semifinalist Showdown!

The week after American Idol made its first round of cuts (sorry, Tyler, Janell, Ashley and Joe), we’re continuing to ask readers which semifinalists they think will advance the farthest. Past showdowns between singers, for example, have pitted Katie Stevens vs. Katelyn Epperly . Which of those young beauties has the most potential? Now, for the first time in this feature, we’re mixing up genders. Fox may wish to separate men and women like some sort of middle school dance, but THG is all about integration! Last Tuesday, viewers voted Siobhan Magnus through after an impressive rendition of Chris Isaac’s “Wicked Game.” As an alternative to guitar players such as Didi Benami, Magnus may be a dark horse on the female side. Meanwhile, Aaron Kelly also received good news from voters. His adorable mug will be on full display again this Wednesday. Choose between these contestants below… Which semifinalist will advance farther on American Idol?

A.D. Trailer

A.D. is a new highly-stylized computer animated movie ( hopefully ) set in a post-apocalyptic, zombie-filled landscape. If the feature-length movie is as dark and visually amazing as this teaser, I will be there on opening day.

Even Kourtney Kardashian Calls Out OK! Weekly

It’s one of the more pathetic supermarket tabloids out there, as OK! Weekly often picks from the bottom of the gosisp trash pile when selecting its cover stories. Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have broken up about a dozen times over the last six months, according to the magazine, for example
