After letting  Luke Cage go along with  Iron Fist , the streaming service announced late Thursday that they were cancelling  Daredevil , the longest running Marvel series on Netflix. The show had just completed its third season. “Marvel’s  Daredevil  will not return for a fourth season on Netflix,” the company said, per Deadline . “We are tremendously proud of the show’s last and final season and although it’s painful for the fans, we feel it best to close this chapter on a high note. We’re thankful to showrunner Erik Oleson, the show’s writers, stellar crew and incredible cast including Charlie Cox as Daredevil himself, and we’re grateful to the fans who have supported the show over the years. While the series on Netflix has ended, the three existing seasons will remain on the service for years to come, while the Daredevil character will live on in future projects for Marvel.” With  Daredevil ‘s cancellation, there is only two shows under the Marvel umbrella on Netflix:  The Punisher and  Jessica Jones . New Orleans Man Arrested Over Bomb Threat Says He Meant He Was Referring To Using The Bathroom

Yeah this is definitely some kind of shim sham. (Screenshot Nola.com) 30-year-old  Arthur Posey  was arrested on charges in connection to a bomb threat at Willie’s Chicken Shack when restaurant employees say that Posey approached the food prep area and asked what time the restaurant closed. According to the female employee, Posey replied to her, “Y’all about to close right now because I’m going to get a bomb and blow this place up.” Sounds like a typical bomb threat, right? Well, Posey says his words were misconstrued and refereed to the classic and common slang of “blowing a place up” as in blowing up their bathroom after using it. His official warrant even says as much but the employee stated that Posey never said anything about a bathroom. Posey has since been charged with two counts of communicating false information of planned arson. He’ll be back in court on November 29. The 24-year-old Clermont entered the plea Thursday in Manhattan federal court. She stood accused of stealing debit card information from a man who died shortly after a “prostitution date” with the former reality star. Clermont told U.S. District Judge Naomi Reice Buchwald that she knew she was committing a crime when she used the man’s stolen debit cards to make purchases on the internet for clothes and other items. Spectators inside the courtroom included family members of the man she visited in January 2017. He was found dead of a drug overdose in his Manhattan apartment the next morning. The reality star and her sister have been featured in numerous publications and fashion shoots, including one for Kanye West ‘s Yeezy Season line. If you ask Sabrina Greenlee if she’s ever seen her son catch those ridiculous passes on Sundays in the NFL, she will tell you she hasn’t. She’s in the stands every Sunday but Greenlee has never watched her son, NFL All-Pro DeAndre Hopkins catch a single NFL pass. That’s because a vicious attack when Hopkins was a child left his mother blind. The abuse began in her childhood. “By the time I was 17, I had been put into the hospital three times. I remember attempting to take my senior pics at 18, and it didn’t happen because I had two black eyes and broken collarbone that day,” Greenlee told KHOU . She had married and divorced her first abuser and had three more abusive relationships and four children after. When Hopkins was 12, the “other woman” threw a mixture of bleach and lye into his mother’s eyes in 2002. “Within seconds, I realize my skin is coming off my face, my neck my back,” Greenlee said. “I was in a coma for 15 to 16 days. Totally blind when I woke up. Of course, that was terrifying.” It became a point of adjustment for Greenlee and despite her blindness, she became involved in her children’s lives, putting them all through college. With DeAndre, she’s become a vocal proponent of domestic violence awareness. Hopkins made a startling revelation to a group of HISD kids last year when he told them the startling truth: his mother had never seen him play football or basketball since he was 12. Her non-profit organization, SMOOTH exists to help victims of domestic abuse. Her top suggestions to other victims: Talk to someone. Below you can see most of the results from the wild night! Via | HipHopDX BET aired the  2018 BET Hip Hop Awards  on Tuesday (October 16). Cardi B, Drake, Kendrick Lamar, JAY-Z and Beyoncé are all up for various honors. The first award handed out during the ceremony was Album of the Year, which went to Beyoncé and JAY-Z’s collaborative album,   Everything Is Love.  Cardi took home four awards, including MVP of the Year, while Childish Gambino earned the Best Hip Hop Video award for “This Is America.” Drake, who was nominated for 11 awards, walked away with a sole award for Hot Ticket Performer.
