A Bay County man is in police custody after reportedly becoming so angry about dinner that he fired one shot at his wife with a handgun. Bay County Sheriff’s deputies say the wife called 911 from the couple’s basement after an argument. She told the dispatcher that her husband was “highly intoxicated.” According to a news release, the 62-year-old man was upset about dinner and shot at his wife, narrowly missing her. Authorities said when deputies arrived at the scene they used a loud speaker to coax the man from his home. The wife was not injured in the incident.
