David Guetta Brings F.M.I.F. Party To Miami Music Week

Guetta and his wife, Cathy, present their ‘F— Me I’m Famous’ brand in the U.S. By Akshay Bhansali David Guetta Photo: MTV News MIAMI — French beatsmith David Guetta and his wife Cathy plan to launch their clubber power-party brand in the U.S. in a big way. Called “F— Me I’m Famous,” it’s named after the electronic dance music party that takes place every year as part of the summer EDM circuit in Ibiza, Spain. On Saturday (March 26) at Club Mansion in Miami, Cathy and David delivered a brand debut of sorts for attendees of Miami Music Week . The Guettas and record label EMI have signed a global partnership to promote F.M.I.F. events around the world, and they’re banking on seeing it blossom here in the States. With frequent collaborator and friend will.i.am and Dutch house-music producer Sidney Sampson by his side, David Guetta took to the decks just after 1 a.m. Saturday and charged into a vicious Afrojack tune, followed by his hit single “One Love” and “Gettin’ Over You,” the chorus of which fans in the house knew by heart. As Guetta dropped out the sound, the audience belted out Fergie’s vocals without missing a beat. After spinning hit singles “Sexy Chick” and Flo Rida’s “Club Can’t Handle Me,” Guetta dropped in his fiery mix of Far East Movement’s “Like a G6,” a joint the DJ/producer has no plans to release but which he’s shared with lil’ brother Afrojack for their touring gigs. The Black Eyed Peas “Boom Boom Pow” followed. Notably, will.i.am joined DG onstage to repeatedly lend the vocal “Everybody!” and a set of freestyle bars on what’s possibly a new song, a banger with a progressive break that peaks into a driving house tune after LMFAO vocals announce, “I’m David Guetta, bitch!” So club fans, rejoice: More F— Me I’m Famous parties are right around the corner. When we caught up with Guetta on Friday afternoon, he was pleased to announce the brand has found a home in Las Vegas. “I’m super-excited about this, the F— Me I’m Famous party,” Guetta said. “I’m taking over Vegas. This is gonna be crazy. We are starting a pool party at Wet Republic, and that’s gonna be every Sunday. “It’s the first time we are gonna do a residency like this, except in Ibiza. We’re gonna do also three really big concerts at the Joint [at the Vegas Hard Rock Hotel & Casino]. We have one for Memorial Day. That’s gonna be a big thing. We’re gonna come with the whole production from Europe. So this is probably an important moment for our brand, F— Me I’m Famous, starting to find a life and a home in America. The F— Me I’m Famous party at Wet Republic in Las Vegas will open April 10 and run Sundays through May 1, according to Wet Republic Las Vegas’ website . The Black Eyed Peas Just Can’t Get Enough

“This song is about love and strength and is dedicated to our friends in Japan.” That’s how Will.I.am introduced his group’s rendition of “Just Can’t Get Enough” last night, as The Black Eyed Peas followed Lee DeWyze and performed on the American Idol results show. Toned down a bit from their Super Bowl spectacle, the single featured Will.I.am on the piano and Fergie in a white dress with St. Patrick’s Day-themed nail polish. A nice touch. Check out their performance now: The Black Eyed Peas – Just Can’t Get Enough (American Idol)

Black Eyed Peas Debut ‘Just Can’t Get Enough’ On ‘American Idol’

‘This song is about love and strength and is dedicated to our friends in Japan,’ will.i.am says before performance. By Kelley L. Carter Black Eyed Peas’ will.i.am and Fergie Photo: FOX On Thursday night’s (March 17) “American Idol” results show, Ryan Seacrest teased that the winner of this season could soon go head-to-head on the charts with the Black Eyed Peas, who hit the stage to perform their new single, “Just Can’t Get Enough,” for the first time. “This song is about love and strength and is dedicated to our friends in Japan,” will.i.am said from behind a piano before the dance track kicked in. Fergie opened the song, sitting atop the all-white piano and wearing a white halter dress, singing the first few notes of the new track. Eventually will, dressed in a white suit, stood up from behind the piano and joined her onstage to sing, while the other Peas members, apl.de.ap and Taboo, also dressed in white, danced, sang and rapped alongside them. Behind them onstage, string players performed, dancers twirled about and couples acted out skits. They ended the performance by jumping around and encouraging the audience to leap to their feet and clap along. BEP have been doing their best to help relief efforts in Japan. The song’s video, which premiered on Wednesday, was also dedicated to the embattled island nation, where the group shot the clip just one week before the earthquake and tsunami struck. At the beginning of the video, this message runs across the screen: “Our thoughts and prayers go out to all the people of Japan. We love you.” This wasn’t the first “American Idol” appearance for the Black Eyed Peas. They performed “Boom Boom Pow” during the season-eight finale , when Kris Allen was crowned the winner, and they’ve also helped out during the show’s “Idol Gives Back” special. Kat Von D Actually Looks Half Decent

I don’t put up pictures of Kat Von D on the site ever, I don’t think, but she actually looks kinda good in these shots. I don’t know if it’s because I had a few too many Rye & Gingers last night or if it’s because she’s covering up most of her trashy prison gang tattoos, but she’s kinda doing it for me. She almost looks like a regular woman like this. Weird. It has to be the booze, when in doubt blame it on the alcohol. I bet she’s got that tattooed somewhere on her body. Enjoy.

Black Eyed Peas ‘Just Can’t Get Enough’ Video To Aid Japan Disaster Relief

Video was shot in Japan one week before the earthquake and tsunami. By Jocelyn Vena The Black Eyed Peas Photo: Chris Gordon/WireImage It seems that all of Hollywood and the music community are banding together to help those affected by the tsunami and earthquake in Japan. Lady Gaga and Katy Perry are just two examples, with Gaga and her little monsters raising more than $250,000 for relief efforts, and fellow pop star Katy Perry donating funds from her tour merchandise. Now the Black Eyed Peas are getting in the game. They hope that their music video for their track “Just Can’t Get Enough” will raise awareness and funds for those who need help. The guerilla-style video was shot over three days in Japan one week before the country was hit by the natural disaster. “It was the easiest video I ever shot because it was us living our lives,” Fergie told ” Entertainment Tonight .” “I love that it’s showing a true perspective of how it can sometimes be lonely on the road away from our loved ones. It also demonstrates the love and connection we have with Japan. Our heart goes out to all of the Japanese people who have been affected by this natural disaster.” The video will reportedly display the message, “This video was filmed in Japan one week before the earthquake. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all the people of Japan. We love you,” according to AceShowbiz.com . The clip closes with a call to arms and a request to donate to the Red Cross. “It was an amazing moment in time because Japan has always been my favorite place on the planet,” group member Taboo explained about the video, which will premiere Thursday. The band will also perform on “American Idol” that same day to premiere the track. “It was great to do our video there. God bless the Japanese. Our love goes out to them,” Taboo said. Fergie ‘Stoked’ About Kids’ Choice Awards Performance

The Black Eyed Peas are among the musical guests set to appear at Nickelodeon’s big bash, which airs on April 2. By Jocelyn Vena Fergie Photo: Dimitrios Kambouris/ Getty Images The Black Eyed Peas have been announced as one of the performers at the 2011 Kids’ Choice Awards , which go live on Nickelodeon on April 2. The group’s sole lady, Fergie, says she’s excited about appearing at the event, but it seems that she has one reservation about the gig. “I’m so stoked for the Kids’ Choice Awards,” Fergie told UsMagazine.com , but added, “I hope we don’t get slimed!” Of course, many celebrities have gotten covered in green goo at the awards bash over the years. (Who could forget last year’s show, when a blue-wigged, latex-wearing Katy Perry got soaked in slime ?) Jack Black is set to host the Kids’ Choice Awards again this year. It marks the actor’s third time emceeing the fun-filled ceremony. “Anyone can host something once. But if they ask you back a second time, that means they liked the way you did it,” Black explained recently to Entertainment Weekly . “And if you host a third time, that means the first time wasn’t a fluke, and it means you did good two times. So the third time, well — that’s the real achievement.” With stars like Kristen Stewart, Emma Watson, Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber all up for blimps in various categories at the 2011 show, anything can happen. Multiple nominee Nick Jonas recently spoke to us about the event and really wants someone in his family to take home a prize this year. (Not only are the Jonas Brothers competing for the Favorite Music Group honor, but Nick and his brother Joe also have scored Favorite TV Actor nods.) “We’re really blessed to be nominated for favorite band again this year,” he said. “We’d love to win it. That’d be great. We’re up against some great people, who have had some great success. “And as far as the best actor nomination goes, I’m really shocked by that. As far as the acting thing goes I’m still learning,” Nick added. “I don’t know if I’ll win it. I hope I do. Maybe the fans will vote for us. It’s always funny with me and Joe, it kind of splits the vote a bit and so maybe just vote for Kevin. I think no matter if Joe or I did win, I’d be like, ‘I think Kevin’s the funniest actor out of all of us. He deserves this.’ ” For young Hollywood news, fashion and “Twilight” updates around the clock, visit HollywoodCrush.MTV.com . Related Artists Fergie

Fergie Works Skinny Jeans & Stripper Heels

I love a chick in insanely high heels, so these pictures of Fergie in some stripper shoes standing in front of a hotel are kinda giving me a chub despite her beat up old face. It’s possible that it’s because she reminds me of a prostitute waiting for her ride to the next ‘job’, but I can’t control that, I like what I like. Obviously she doesn’t look like a hooker, she’s far too old, but those skinny jeans and heels are working for me.
