New Black Kid On The Block: G Milla – “DMT” [VIDEO]

Will this Canadian-born rapper give Drizzy a run for his money? Hip Hop newcomer G Milla is a fresh, unsigned emcee currently generating major buzz in the blogosphere. Being raised on the streets of Toronto and often having to fend for himself (he was kicked out of his home on several occasions), he found solace and consistency in music, with major influences stemming from artists like MF Doom, Nas and The Doors. With nowhere to live, no real sense of family, and facing difficulty with addiction, he decided to make a change for the better, using his natural talent for rapping and writing as a form of therapy and release. Since recording his music in studio, G Milla has been featured on multiple blogs and performed at local shows. His debut EP “Downtown” received positive feedback on several music blogs. Having recently released his newest mixtape “Inner City” (available on LiveMixtapes ) and he will be playing The A3C Hip Hop Festival in Atlanta on Saturday, October 5. Ty Warner, Beanie Babies Creator, Pleads Guilty to Tax Evasion

Beanie Babies creator Ty Warner has been hit with a tax evasion penalty to the tune of $53.5 million. Of course, when you’re worth a reported $2.3 billion … Warner was charged with federal tax evasion after allegedly failing to report more than $3 million in income earned in a Swiss bank account back in 2002. The CEO struck a plea bargain with prosecutors to stay out of prison. Ty was looking at five years in prison for the crime, but by agreeing to plead guilty to the tax evasion charge, and pay the penalty ASAP, he’ll be free. Warner’s lawyer said Ty accepts responsibility, calling the debacle “an unfortunate situation that Mr. Warner has been trying to resolve for several years now.” Probably wishes he’d put all his money in Beanie Babies. Oh, wait …

Jennifer Aniston Pregnant? Rep Immediately Blasts Tabloid

Jennifer Aniston’s longtime publicist immediately put a celebrity gossip tabloid on blast for the latest of many reports that his famous client is expecting. After months of analyzing seemingly swollen bellies and mysteriously draped dresses, Us Weekly proclaims on its new cover: “Jen’s big secret: pregnant!” Stephen Huvane, in response, said: “Jennifer is NOT pregnant.” “The whole story is a complete fabrication,” Huvane continues . “All the way from a supposed canceled Smartwater shoot to Jennifer asking for a late check-out in Toronto and to her stylist having to rework her wardrobe.” “None of this ever happened,” he reiterates to the N.Y. Post . “Shame on Us magazine for once again getting it all wrong.” The reworked wardrobe nugget is a reference to the magazine’s assertion that Aniston wore less-than-flattering plum strapless satin dress to premiere. According to the celebrity gossip mainstay, she had her clothes overhauled following that alleged fashion faux pas, presumably to hide her big “secret.” Huvane similarly denied that the Vivienne Westwood gown, worn to the Toronto International Film Festival last week (above), was chosen to cloak her womb. It’s not the first false Jennifer Aniston pregnant rumor by a long shot. It won’t be the last. But there’s clearly no merit to it in any way, shape or form. Case closed. Sorry about this week’s sales, Us . Unless people actually buy it anyway, despite the obvious falsehoods, in which case, sorry for them.

Movie Critic Calls 911 from Theater, Rants on Twitter

We suppose this is better than calling 911 because McDonald’s messed up your order . Or because you need a pen . But not by much. Alex Billington, a movie critic for the website Firstshowing.net, called the authorities from inside a theater at the Toronto Film Festival this week because a fellow attendee was pointing his cell phone at the screen for over 10 minutes. Critic Calls 911 from Theater “I thought I might be witnessing an act of piracy … and wished to report it to the proper authorities,” Billington told BuzzFeed. “The call made was to report an act of piracy in progress, a major crime that many signs around TIFF remind people is a punishable offense. “I simply requested that an officer confront and confirm that he was not pirating.” Billington, who was laughed at by the 911 operator, later admitted to the move being a “gaffe” and took to a more appropriate venue to vent about the incident: Twitter. “I’m trying to make a difference for the better, if that’s so grating I’m sorry. Changes need to be made and drastic measures are called for,” Billington wrote, adding: “My mistake is my own lesson to learn. I contacted staff first for piracy, they did nothing. Attention should be on the policy, bigger issue.”

I wouldn’t be to concerned about what she’d write because fact is I’m a great lover and no woman has left my mom’s basement disappointed. Anyway, here she is at the Toronto International Film Festival working a sexy white outfit at the ‘One Chance’ premiere. Is it me or is the dress on backwards? Shouldn’t the exposed skin side be on the front and a little higher?

We gotta give it up to the NY Knicks for having some of the best examples of black matrimony-dom in the entertainment world… La La and Carmelo Anthony turned up at the “12 Years A Slave” premiere at the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival Friday… Melo cleans up alright but cotdayuuuum La La looks good as fawk in that forest green leather jawn! Meanwhile Tyson Chandler and his fashionista wife Kimberly were spotted looking stylish as ever as they held hands in the streets of NYC.
