Angie Miller Responds to American Idol Elimination: Bitter, Sweet

Many viewers had her tagged as the next American Idol champion, but Angie Miller received the bad news last night along with her large fan base: The talented piano player has been voted out of Season 12 a week before the finals. “It’s bitter and sweet,” Miller told reporters soon after learning her fate. “I definitely thought that with the whole hometown visit and how huge social media has been… did feel kind of confident that I was going to make it.” Angie Miller Farewell Song Still, Miller harbors no resentment, not considering the talents of Candice Glover and Kree Harrison . “They’re both incredible,” she said of her competition, adding that the upcoming finale will be an “amazing night.” As for her future? Taylor Swift Cat Meme: Adorable!

Taylor Swift is getting into the meme craze. And the online cat craze as well. The singer Tweeted a photo of her kitten this week, including with the shot of Meredith and a message that reads: “USE YOUR STOMACH AS A PILLOW.” “Found her sleeping like this,” Swift wrote. “No idea how she didn’t suffocate on her own fur.” The pet’s full moniker is Meredith Grey and, yes, she’s named after Ellen Pompeo’s Grey’s Anatomy character. Will this meme grow as viral as McKayla Maroney not being impressed by things or as popular as Clint Eastwood and his Eastwooding ? Probably not. But it’s very cute!

Joe Wright to Direct 50 Shades of Grey Movie?

British director Joe Wright has emerged as a favorite to direct the wildly anticipated movie adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey, reports indicate. Gus Van Sant has reportedly been angling for the job, as well, so who knows, but Wright, 40, has ties with both Universal and Focus Features. The director has helmed Anna Karenina, Hanna, Pride and Atonement , which features some major heat. The man can film a sex scene, people! As for who he’d be filming, should he in fact land this major directorial role? That remains to be seen, but the speculation is off the charts as always. Who should play Christian and Ana? Farrah Abraham Porn to Be Unleashed on World This Week

The Farrah Abraham sex tape is just days away from hitting adult video stores and sites near you, barring any last minute contract squabbles with MTV. Steve Hirsch, the CEO of Vivid Entertainment, says he’s ready to release it unless the network gives him a really good legal reason to shelve it for now. Hirsch wants to know if there’s something in her contract that would prohibit his company from releasing the Farrah Abraham sex tape it just purchased. Having paid big bucks for the rights to the Backdoor Teen Mom ‘s work, there’s no way he won’t release the tape, whether it’s this week or down the road. By sending an ultimatum of sorts to MTV, he’s going on record saying he wants to iron out any issues now, rather than face a frivolous lawsuit later. Farrah was allegedly paid nearly $1 million for the romp, which she planned to pass off as a “leaked” tape, but was really just a porn she set out to make. Whatever you want to call it, and whatever you think of her decision from a moral standpoint, her plan netted huge money, and the tape is about to go national. It’s unclear how the network could object. The original Teen Mom is over with, and we doubt she had any anti- James Deen pleasuring clauses to begin with. It’s pretty much the opposite of the oft-discussed Fifty Shades of Grey in terms of subject matter, but a just-announced Mister Rogers biopic got us thinking: Who should play the iconic, laconic PBS children’s TV host? “His keen ability to find good in anyone, or anything, will make for a truly inspiring cinematic experience,” producer Justin Nappi says of the film. Fred Rogers died in 2003 at age 74. An ordained minister, he hosted Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood from 1968-2001 and won countless awards. The biopic, A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood , will need the perfect star to embody his soothing, gentle, easy-going, mellow and optimistic style. Beloved TV stars Ty Burrell and Steve Carell, among others, could be good fits for his childlike ways. Who do you think should play him? Is Minka Kelly the perfect choice for the role of Anastasia Steele in Fifty Shades of Grey? She’s the latest sexy actress to be rumored for the coveted part. The former Friday Night Lights star has supposedly caught the casting director’s eye, which is not a shock given her gorgeous eyes, lips, and body. Can she act well enough to command that kind of part, though? Her FNL role gives her plenty of cred, as it was one of the best shows ever. But she also hasn’t done all that much since, beyond date Derek Jeter and be hot. There are also a ton of other names under consideration for Ana Steele, some of whom bring more star power than Minka, and others who bring less. Jason Hoppy Files for Custody of Daughter, Mirrors Bethenny Frankel Divorce Demands

Unfortunately, it’s about to get ugly between Jason Hoppy and Bethenny Frankel. A few weeks after Frankel filed for divorce and made such legal demands as primary custody of daughter Brynn ; sole use of the couple’s residence; and child support from her ex, Hoppy has gone ahead… and done pretty much the exact same thing. According to documents obtained by TMZ, Hoppy is also seeking primary custody of the two-year old, while asking for child support and all medical expenses related to himself and Brynn. The scorned reality star wants Frankel to name him as a beneficiary on her life insurance policy and he’s after “exclusive use and occupancy of the marital residence.” Frankel appeared on Ellen this month and tearfully said this split made her feel like a failure , but we have an inkling it won’t even be official any time soon. Considering the demands of both sides, this battle is destined to be drawn very far out.

Ronaiah Tuiasosopo Lawyer Describes Client as Regretful, "Troubled"

The lawyer for Ronaiah Tuiasosopo has come out and admitted his client was behind the Manti Te’o girlfriend hoax; is very sorry about creating such a mess; and never intended to cause the football star any pain. Speaking to The New York Daily News , Milton Grimes says Tuiasosopo posed as Lennay Kekua on every phone call with Te’o, detailing the former’s extensive vocal and dramatic training, as well as the fact that Tuiasosopo tried out last year for The Voice . “Come on, Hollywood does it all the time,” Grimes said to those who doubt a man could pull this off. “People can do that.” Grimes, who represented Rodney King when he won a multi-million dollar judgment against Los Angeles, also confirms Tuiasosopo ganked Facebook photos of high school classmate Diane O’Meara to use as Lenny – and never meant anyone any harm. “This wasn’t a prank to make fun,” Grimes told the newspaper. “It was establishing a communication with someone… It was a person with a troubled existence trying to reach out and communicate and have a relationship.” Tuiasosopo is reportedly seeing a mental health professional and wants to tell his side of the story, the attorney said, but he’s trying to adjust the admission to a California law that makes it a crime to create a false identity on the Internet. It went into effect on January 1. “He’s torn by this,” Grimes said. “He didn’t mean for anyone to be hurt. Anything that he has done, he has apologized to those he could apologize to.”
