Guess this game of Kat and Mau5 wasn’t meant to be. On the heels of the Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez breakup , reality star Kat Von D has split with electronic music titan Deadmau5, according to reports. The tattoo artist, best known for her 79 engagements and splits with Jesse James, took to Twitter (obviously) to announce that she and Deadmau5 broke up. “Man… Can’t say I didn’t give it my best,” she wrote, noting, “Man, I sure was wrong. But at least he made it a no-brainer to break that off. #lessonlearned.” “Now, we can get all of the “I told you so’s” outta the way… And move on.” Finally, she Tweeted, “Clarification: Deadmau5 and I are no longer together.” So, are you saying you guys broke up, Kat? We’re not entirely clear on it … Her latest BF began seeing Kat Von D nude earlier this year. Deadmau5, whose real name is Joel Zimmerman, has never been one to keep radio silence about … well, anything, so it’s no surprise he Tweeted about it too. “Going to spend a little while screwing my head back on. i guess im not cut out for relationships right now. and that’s all i really want to dwell on it right now,” he shared . “ill figure it out. no hard feelings.” Aww. Of course, he then dwelled a little more. “it happened too fast,” the deejay confessed. “i lost my balance and fell into a familiar dark place that im having difficulty with. she deserves someone stronger.” “…and thats it for the personal stuff…on with our regularly scheduled deadmau5 crap.” Well, that about brings you up to date.
