Thousands of lucky girls were there to witness the unveiling, which no doubt melted and mesmerized a few hearts. Droves of fans were queuing to snuggle up close to the famous R-Patz figure which had been made to resemble his Twilight character, Edward Cullen. Liz Edwards, a spokesperson for Tussauds museum, said: “R-Patz is one of the hottest celebs on the planet. We are delighted to be able to give them (the fans) the chance to cosy up with their idol here at Madame Tussauds and, judging by the reactions of the first to meet him here this morning, he is set to top our most-kissed list of celebrities very quickly.” Pattinson will now take his place alongside Johnny Depp and George Clooney in the VIP Hall and his figure is set to be launched at Madame Tussauds in New York soon.
