Behold the Shirtless, Near Nipple-Free Glory of Ryan Reynolds’s Comic Book

The folks at Bluewater Productions are commemorating Ryan Reynolds’s ascent into worldwide prominence, domination, and glistening emerald costuming with a $3.99, 32-page comic book called Fame: Ryan Reynolds . In addition to honoring Reynolds’ status as a “hero to the fanboy community with his ability tell a joke, get the girl, and battle supervillians on screen,” it also honors his cartoonishly insane body. Watch ‘Jesse Eisenberg’ Give Advice to Teen Girls in New Funny or Die Video

Oh, man. The only way the Funny or Die video “Staying Positive with Jesse Eisenberg” could be any better is if Eisenberg himself was actually the star. He’s not, of course, but comic Scott Gairdner does a fairly great impression of what the 30 Minutes or Less star would look like hosting an advice show for teen girls. “Should I like goth or hip-hop?” asks one of the youngsters hoping for some Eisenberg-y insight. Great question! And plenty more where that came from — even a music video starring “Eisenberg” at the end. Click through to watch.

Watch Ferris Bueller’s Life Get Depressing in Last Day Off Spoof

In Ferris Bueller’s Day Off , which recently celebrated its 25th anniversary , Matthew Broderick’s title character famously says, “Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.” In a new Atom.com sketch, New York City-based comedy trio Sidecar Comedy toys with that concept precisely by seeing how the John Hughes character would fare in the modern world. Little Dakota Fanning Is All Grown Up, Almost, in Suggestive New Marc Jacobs Ad

Let’s take a closer look at little Dakota Fanning ‘s new ad campaign as the spokesmodel for Marc Jacobs’ latest fragrance, Oh, Lola. On the one hand, the 17-year-old Fanning has been preparing us for this moment for years, what with her increasingly mature film roles of late (a lesbian make-out with Kristen Stewart in The Runaways ? How edgy !). On the other hand, is anyone ready to see Dakota Fanning in a suggestive pose with a flower in her crotch?

Watch New Trailer for Planes, the Direct-to-Video Cars Spin-Off

Back in 2010 , Disney/Pixar announced that they had such a great time making the family film Cars — which grossed nearly $250 million domestically — that they would continue the fun with Cars 2 (due in theaters this June 24) and Planes , a sensible spin-off for the anthropomorphic transportation series that would get a direct-to-DVD roll-out in the spring of 2013. Now that the trailer for Planes is available, the question must be raised: Does Pixar want anything to do with this?

5 Reasons a Fraggle Rock Movie Could be Better Than a Muppet Reboot

A few key things unite my generation of nostalgic pop culture devotees: a fondness for early ’90s Nickelodeon series that played in reruns until the latter part of the decade; firm opinions about which season of The Real World is best; and an absolutely feigned remembrance of Fraggle Rock , the ’80s HBO series that replayed for a short time on the Disney Channel, and now makes you look cool if you reference it right.

See Elle Fanning Laugh It Up on the Set of We Bought a Zoo

Another Saturday , another Cameron Crowe-provided picture from the set of We Bought a Zoo . This weekend, the Twitter happy director offers a look at Super 8 star Elle Fanning laughing with Patrick Fugit. Perhaps Dakota’s little (and more talented?) sister just then realized that she’s gotten to work with Crowe, J.J. Abrams, Sofia Coppola, Francis Ford Coppola, and David Fincher thus far in her career, and reacted with sheer joy? Or maybe Fugit told a dirty joke. Either way. Click through for a look.
