Two and a Half Men Creator Challenges Charlie Sheen to a Live-Off

At the conclusion of last night’s Two and a Half Men episode, the final installment filmed prior to Charlie Sheen’s quasi trip to rehab, creator Chuck Lorre posted a message that ran in the show’s credits. Likely in response to the actor’s hilarious threat that CBS better let him work or else he’ll go back to boozing, Lorre made a reference to Sheen dying young. The on-screen card read: What do you think? Is Chuck Lorre calling out Charlie Sheen in such a public, personal matter fair or foul? UPDATE: In response, Sheen says: “Chuck, I will outlive you. I will piss you off… I miss you, man.”

It was a worker-led movement as well, with female beneficiaries of micro-finance and youth entrepreneurs and the working class taking to the streets to air their grievances about their personal conditions. It was not a Western-led coup, or something the West even had a whole lot of leverage to… Broadcasting platform : YouTube Source : Firedoglake Discovery Date : 11/02/2011 20:14 Number of articles : 4

Britney Spears’ ‘Hold It Against Me’ Demo Lyrics

The single is set for official release on Tuesday. By Jocelyn Vena over art for Britney Spears’ single “Hold It Against Me” Photo: Jive Britney is almost back! Fans are super excited over a leaked demo version of Spears’ news single, “Hold It Against Me,” set for official release on Tuesday. While the vocals on the demo come courtesy of songwriter Bonnie McKee, Ryan Seacrest and Perez Hilton have assured us that the final cut of the song is bound to be a hit. Here are the lyrics to the demo, which may have changed in the final version, which was produced by Dr. Luke and Max Martin. Hey, over there Please forgive me If I’m coming on too strong. Hate to stare But you’re winning And they’re playing my favorite song. So come ‘ere, little closer Wanna whisper in your ear. Say it clear, little question Wanna note how you just feel. If I feel my heart was beating loud, If we could escape the crowd some how, If I said I want your body now, Would you hold it against me? ‘Cause you feel like paradise And I need a vacation tonight. So if I said I want your body now, Would you hold it against me? Hey, you might think That I’m crazy, But I think you’re just my type. I may be little hazy, But you just cannot deny There’s a spark in between us. When we’re dancin’ on the floor I want more, wanna see it, So I’m askin’ you tonight If I feel my heart was beating loud, If we could escape the crowd some how, If I said I want your body now, Would you hold it against me? ‘Cause you feel like paradise And I need a vacation tonight. So if I said I want your body now, Would you hold it against me? What do you think of the lyrics? Tell us in the comments! James Franco, Asked About Gay Roles, Says ‘Maybe I’m Just Gay’

‘There are lots of reasons to be interested in gay characters than wanting myself to have sex with guys,’ actor says. By Gil Kaufman James Franco Photo: Getty Images They’re the two questions actor James Franco hears almost every time he sits down for an interview: “Are you gay?” and “are you stoned?” The multi-hyphenate, perpetually heavy-lidded actor (who, for the record, denies that he’s a smoker) has aroused curiosity about his sexuality by playing a number of high-profile gay parts in movies such as “Milk,” “Howl” and his upcoming “The Broken Tower.” Franco, who has been in a relationship with actress Ahna O’Reilly for more than five years, has avoided the definitive denial/confirmation that other high-profile celebrities have made in the past when questioned about their sexual preferences. In a recent Entertainment Weekly cover story, though, he tackled the issue head-on and provided, well, clarity of a sort. “It’s funny because the way that kind of stuff is talked about on blogs is so black-and-white,” Franco said. “It’s all cut-and-dry identity politics. ‘Is he straight or is he gay?’ Or, ‘This is your third gay movie — come out already!’ And all based on gay or straight, based on the idea that your object of affection decides your sexuality.” The “127 Hours” star has spurred further talk about his bedroom politics with news that he’s planning to write the screenplay and direct a biopic about gay “Rebel Without a Cause” actor Sal Mineo. “There are lots of other reasons to be interested in gay characters than wanting myself to go out and have sex with guys,” he said about why he chooses the roles he does and why gay parts are often much meatier than other ones he’s offered. “I mean, I’ve played a gay man who’s living in the ’60s and ’70s, a gay man who we depicted in the ’50s, and one being in the ’20s. And those were all periods when to be gay, at least being gay in public, was much more difficult. Part of what I’m interested in is how these people who were living anti-normative lifestyles contended with opposition.” But, ever the provocateur, the sometime “General Hospital” guest star, painter, author and Ph.D. student ended the interview with another explanation for why he might be choosing all these homosexual roles. “You know what, maybe I’m just gay.” For breaking news, celebrity columns, humor and more — updated around the clock — visit MTVMoviesBlog.com .

Britney Spears’ New Single Is A ‘Surefire Hit,’ Perez Hilton Says

Ryan Seacrest, who has heard the final cut of ‘Hold It Against Me,’ also gives the tune his seal of approval. By Jocelyn Vena Perez Hilton Photo: Frazer Harrison/ WireImage The demo for Britney Spears’ new single, “Hold It Against Me,” that hit the Web on Thursday is catching people’s attention, and it seems clear that the pop star wants everyone to hit the dance floor and party. The unfinished track, which feature the vocals of songwriter Bonnie McKee rather than Brit herself, is a dirty, grinding club banger with pulsing beats and lustful lyrics. The track already has the media talking. “With her vocals on that it’s going to be an undeniable, surefire hit,” Perez Hilton told MTV News . “I loved it. My own critique is that the demo sounds a little too much like Ke$ha. I hope that the finished song feels like a Britney song. Beside that it’s still to me a hit song.” Perez’s Ke$ha comparison likely can be attributed to the work of Dr. Luke. And the gossip guru’s further evaluation of the tune draws parallels to another Luke production. “It’s not inspired. It’s not groundbreaking,” Perez explains, noting that this isn’t necessarily a bad thing, especially considering he’s only heard the demo. “It’s like Katy Perry’s ‘California Gurls’; I think this is the equivalent.” Perez isn’t the only one giving “Hold It Against Me” his seal of approval. Ryan Seacrest revealed that Britney’s managers, Larry Rudolf and Adam Leber, played him the finished version of the track , and he insisted that if fans are stoked about the demo, then they should just be over the moon about the final cut. “@BritneySpears just sent me ‘Hold It Against Me.’ WOW. The demo doesn’t even compare!” he wrote on Twitter . Seacrest added that Britney’s video for the tune is set to shoot in two weeks, after a month of rehearsals, noting that it’s “gonna be major.” He also reported that Rudolf and Leber played him another track off the singer’s March release, “I I I Wanna Go,” but gave little details about the song besides describing it as a “powerhouse single.” Related Photos The Evolution Of: Britney Spears Related Artists Britney Spears
