Long hair don’t care… and the bald beyotch don’t either! RihRih was spotted leaving her hotel in NYC today with her locks long and luxurious on one side… And shaved nearly to the scalp on the other. We’ve seen her rock a similar style before — but what do you think about this look? Are You Feelin’ It? INFPhoto
The nominations for the 2013 Academy Awards were revealed this morning. While there weren’t too many surprises, the one shocker is the Best Actress nomination…
After a momentary holiday lull, it’s back on! Or as Calvin Candie says in Django Unchained . “We got us a fight going on that’s a good bit of fun.” Academy voters were given one extra day to mull over their Oscar nomination ballots, thanks to a voting deadline extension necessitated by complaints and concerns over the Academy’s first-ever electronic voting system. They could use that 24 hours to digest the Producers Guild Award nominations , which were announced Wednesday, a day early. From here, the awards season proceeds at 48 frames per second , bringing the Oscar race into sharp focus. The Director’s Guild of America nominations for Best Director will be announced Jan. 8, with Oscar nominations announced on the 10th,in advance of the Golden Globes, which will be handed out on the 13th. The PGA ceremony will be held on the 26th, followed by the SAG awards the following night. Feb. 2 brings the DGAs, one of the most reliable Oscar indicators, followed by the Independent Spirit Awards (and the Razzies) on the 23rd and the Oscars on the 24th. This is the earliest Oscar voting in history, Variety’s Jon Weisman noted, and he feared for the “dark horse” candidates as voters race to catch up to the big ticket films such as Django Unchained and Les Miserables that were released at the end of the year. “We’ll never quantify the impact… on the coming Academy Award nominations, but I’m thinking negative,” he writes. The Best Picture race was most impacted this week. So, let’s consult the Gold Linings Playbook to see which films benefited from the PGA bump. Best Picture Since 1990, the winner of the PGA’s Darryl F. Zanuck Award for Outstanding Producer of Theatrical Motion Pictures -winner was denied on Oscar night only seven times, most recently in 2006, when The Departed took Best Picture honors instead of the PGA’s choice, Little Miss Sunshine . Its 10-film field included most of the expected nominees from A ( Argo ) to Z ( Zero Dark Thirty ). Django Unchained ’s n-word – nomination – only accelerated its momentum, while Beasts of the Southern Wild , a non-union production, deemed ineligible for SAG consideration, and also denied Golden Globe nominations, saw its own Oscar cred strengthened. (Apparently, Hollywood Foreign Press Association members would rather party with Nicole Kidman than Quvenzhane Wallis ) biggest surprise was the nomination of Skyfall , which may be poised to do for Bond films what Beauty and the Beast did for animated films; be the first to be nominated for a Best Picture Oscar. But Skyfall shouldn’t press its Oscar-night tux just yet. Last year, Bridesmaids , The Ides of March and The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo did not parlay their PGA nominations into Best Picture bids. The Master , Flight , and The Dark Knight Rises , each snubbed by the PGA, have their advocates, and should not be counted out. 1. Lincoln 2. Zero Dark Thirty 3. Argo 4. Silver Linings Playbook 5. Django Unchained 6. Les Misérables 7. Life of Pi 8. Beasts of the Southern Wild 9. Moonrise Kingdom 10. Skyfall Ones to watch: The Dark Knight Rises, Flight, The Master Best Director The heat is still on Zero Dark Thirty , now officially the target of a Senate Intelligence Committee investigation over alleged contact between the filmmakers and CIA officials, but Kathryn Bigelow’s nomination is inevitable. Quentin Tarantino is riding taller in the saddle with Django Unchained ’s PGA nomination, but it’s a tight field and Life of Pi and Silver Linings Playbook are safer, far less controversial films. Still, it helps to have Samuel L. Jackson in your corner. The PGA snub of The Master sees Paul Thomas Anderson’s Oscar hopes further recede. 1. Steven Spielberg ( Lincoln ) 2. Kathryn Bigelow ( Zero Dark Thirty ) 3. Ben Affleck ( Argo ) 4. Ang Lee ( Life of Pi ) 5. David O. Russell ( Silver Linings Playbook ) Ones to watch: Quentin Tarantino (Django Unchained). Michael Haneke (Amour), Tom Hooper (Les Miserables), Paul Thomas Anderson (The Master)
My name is Nicole and I’m 17 from Adelaide, Australia . My love for Justin started back when I saw his ‘So Sick’ video of in 2009. From then on my love has just grown and I have always been known has “The girl who loves Justin Bieber.” My Bieber experience happened on the 17 th of July 2012. Justin was coming down to Australia to promote Believe and for weeks there had been competitions on the radio to win tickets to his live and intimate gig – the only show he was doing here and the only way to get in was to win tickets. This show was in Sydney and I live in Adelaide so I knew I had really limited chances of winning tickets but I still tried. I always considered myself as one of the most unlucky people and never thought I could actually have a chance at winning. The competition ran for a week to get on the standby list and then was drawn on the Friday. These were the only tickets available in all of Adelaide so I thought my chances were pretty low. On Thursday morning I finally got through to the station and had to answer a question: Who is Justin Bieber’s current girlfriend? SO EASY I KNOW! Of course I got it right and was put on the standby list. I couldn’t sleep all night knowing that the next day I would find out if it was me who was going to Sydney. I had a 1 in 4 chance and that Friday morning I got the phone call that I had won!! I could not believe it; these sorts of things just didn’t happen to me! I got to take my friend Jennifer and my mum. The next Tuesday we were on the flight to Sydney and I was so excited. That day dragged on forever waiting for the show until we finally we got there at about 5:30 p.m. As soon as the bus pulled up to the show I saw Kenny outside talking to one of the DJs! I couldn’t believe this was actually to me, that I was going to a private Justin bieber gig. THIS ONLY HAPPENS IN MY DREAMS! We finally got inside and luckily got right to the front. When Justin finally came out I was in a state of shock, I couldn’t believe how close I was to him or how perfect he was in real life. He started off talking to the crowd for a while and then sang songs from Believe, acoustically. I was in awe of his voice and how much it had changed since I heard him live at the My World Tour. He sounded just like I was listening to him on my ipod, IT WAS A DREAM COME TRUE. It was so special because it was just Justin and Dan sitting on two stools, with one guitar jamming together with us. It was the most incredible moment of my life that I will treasure forever. I never thought I would have such an opportunity but Justin was right, if you just believe in your dreams they will come true! -@nicolecremona Read more from the original source: My name is Nicole and I’m 17 from Adelaide, Australia. Sometimes in the wake of CGI nudity and the J ennifer Aniston bait-and-switch that was Wanderlust , it’s easy to get a little down. But then we pick ourselves back up by the seat of our pants and remember all the good things that are happening like Sarah Silverman making good on her full-frontal debut, and actresses that we never expected to get nude like Kristen Stewart , Ashley Hinshaw , and Olivia Munn blowing us away with surprise skin. It’s in that positive light that we bring you news of Jennifer Aniston ’s latest role as a stripper that doesn’t strip in We’re the Millers . Reports are already out the she’s been using a semi-clad body double for her stunts, but she did do some exotic dancing of her own on the pole. More after the jump!
Looks like Nadine Velazquez ’s beyond belief nude debut in Flight (2012) has left her feeling wonderfully free and uninhibited, because she gave up a rare glimpse of primetime seat-meat last night on The League . An intrepid fan tweeted at the official account of the show, saying they doubted it was really her, and the show was quick to confirm that the keister is all Velazquez! The scene is shot from the classic body-double angle, but given Nadine’s amazing recent exhibitions (and closer skinspections) it seems that it is indeed her comely caboose. That round rump is in a League of its own! More pics after the jump!
The 23rd James Bond film lived up to its lofty hopes at the box office, continuing its stellar run Stateside after scoring hundreds of millions overseas including the U.K. where it opened theatrically late last month. The third 007 feature starring Daniel Craig grossed $87.8 million plus $2.2 million from Thursday night IMAX screenings. Skyfall ‘s total pushed the box office’s top 10 to over $159.1 million. Wreck-It Ralph placed second after debuting atop the box office last weekend. Steven Spielberg ‘s anticipated Lincoln , meanwhile opened in limited release at just 11 theaters with a stunning $81,800 per screen average. It should easily be in the upper echelon if not the top grossing film next week when it goes wide. 1. Skyfall Gross: $87.8 million (Cume: $90 million) Screens: 3,505 (PSA: $25,050) Week: 1 Skyfall stole the box office over the weekend with the highest grossing Bond opening in the franchise’s fifty year history. Quantam of Solace opened with $67.5 million which was the previous record. The latest film’s was also double Casino Royale ‘s $40.8 million debut which was the current 007, Daniel Craig’s, first turn as the dashing British operative. In addition to this weekend’s $90 million take, it has grossed $428.6 million worldwide. 2. Wreck-It Ralph Gross: $33,056,000 (Cume: $93,690,000) Screens: 3,752 (PSA: $8,810) Week: 2 (Change: – 32.6%) The pic dropped one spot in its second weekend, remaining in the same number of theaters in its second round. Last weekend it debuted with a $13,070 screen average. With momentum going its way, a $200 million gross is not out of the question. 3. Flight Gross: 15.1 million (Cume: $47,770,299) Screens: 2,047 (PSA: $7,377) Week: 2 (Change: – 39.4%) The film, which debuted at the New York Film Festival last month dropped almost 40% added 163 theaters in its second weekend and remained third in the overall box office chart. Flight ‘s total compares to star Denzel Washington’s $41.9 million total for the 2010 thriller Unstoppable at this point in its release. That film ended up at $81 million. 4. Argo Gross: $6,745,000 (Cume: $85,710,958) Screens: 2,763 (PSA: $2,441) Week: 5 (Change: – 33.9%) The Ben Affleck-directed film held solid in its first month with only incremental declines week to week. This time, it had its most sizable drop. Still, it has held on and in 11 less theaters than last week and it dropped one spot. 5. Taken 2 Gross: $4 million (Cume: $131.2 million) Screens: 2,487 (PSA: $1,608) Week: 6 (Change: – 32.4%) The feature topped the box office in its early October debut, but then skidded heavily in its second weekend. Since then it dropped less severely though its sixth weekend drop at nearly 33% compares to the previous weekend’s 23% decline. Still, the film placed fifth as did last week with 152 less locations. 6. Here Comes the Boom Gross: $2.55 million (Cume: $39,061,095) Screens: 2,044 (PSA: $1,248) Week: 5 (Change: – 27.7%) The pic dropped 270 screens from the previous weekend, though its nearly 28% drop shows the movie is holding solidly going into its second month in release. 7. Cloud Atlas Gross: $2,525,000 (Cume: $22,711,706) Screens: 2,023 (PSA: $1,248) Week: 3 (Change: – 53.1%) The film debuted with a $9.6 million gross, but fell 44% in its second weekend and a much steeper 53% drop in the third. Its reported $100 million production budget will be a huge loss for sources that invested in this ‘independently produced’ feature, which will struggle to top out at $30 million. 8. Pitch Perfect Gross: $2,503,800 (Cume: $59,030,443) Screens: 1,391 (PSA: $1,800) Week: 7 (Change: – 18.3%) The film’s $17 million budget has been more than tripled in the box office. Pitch Perfect dropped only 18.3% after dropping 111 locations from the previous weekend. 9. The Man With The Iron Fists Gross: $2,489,760 (Cume: $12,718,085) Screens: 1,872 (PSA: $1,330) Week: 2 (Change: – 68.5%) Ouch, the title added four locations but dropped a stunning 68.5% and dropped five spots from its opening. Still the pic’s $15 million budget should handily be made up, minus P&A. 10 Hotel Transylvania Gross: $2,350,000 (Cume: $140.9 million) Screens: 2,566 (PSA: $916) Week: 7 (Change: – 46.7%) The animated pic lost 356 theaters vs last weekend. Worldwide, the feature has grossed over $270.4 million. Not bad for an $85 million budget. It has been losing momentum, but it may cross $150 million before all is said and done.
