Uzbekistan Airlines Will Begin Weighing Passengers For Flight Safety How would you feel if you were asked to be weighed before boarding your next flight?? Via TIME Magazine : Uzbekistan Airlines announced a new policy that involves weighing passengers shortly before take off. A statement by the airline announced a decision to install a “special weighing machine” at departure gates, where passengers would be weighed along with their luggage. “According to the rules of International Air Transport Association, airlines are obliged to carry out the regular procedures of preflight control passengers weighing with hand baggage to observe requirements for ensuring flight safety,” read a statement posted to the airline’s webpage. A spokesperson for the International Air Transport Association denied any knowledge of a regulation that would require passengers to stand on a scale, adding in a statement to CNN that airlines normally calculate passenger loads as a mathematical average, rather than a precise, personal measurement. Kate Moss has joined the list of celebrities kicked off airplanes due to unruly behavior. According to multiple reports, the 41-year old supermodel was escorted off an easyJet flight while traveling from Turkey to London’s Luton airport over the weekend. Without actually naming Moss, Bedfordshire Police responded to inquiries about the incident by confirming via statement that they were called to assist staff members with a woman being disruptive on board the flight. A fellow passenger on flight EZY2232 says Moss was refused alcohol and responded by pouring herself vodka from her cabin luggage. From there, Moss called the pilot a “basic bitch” as police led her off the plane, this same passenger tells The Daily Mail, adding of Moss: “She was not aggressive to anyone and was funny really; the easyJet crew was acting out of proportion.” No formal complaints were made against Moss and the star was not arrested. The sight of Ivan Drago informing you that it’s your turn to be broken would be enough to make anyone lose control of their bladder, but apparently on a recent flight, Dolph Lundgren didn’t even have to utter his famous line from Rocky IV in order to open Matthew Pritchard’s floodgates. That’s Pritchard on the right, moments before he got naked and began running up and down the aisles (seriously) during a flight on which Lundgren was also a passenger. Apparently, Pritchard hosts a prank show called Dirty Sanchez (again, seriously) on MTV UK, but his latest antics were not part of the British version of Punk’d, but were instead the result of a good old fashioned booze and Xanax fueled freakout. “I took a Xanax, which is a sedative that knocks you out, to put me to sleep on the flight,” Pritchard tells the Daily Mail. “I didn’t realise you’re not supposed to mix them with alcohol. I had a lot of alcohol and blacked out.” As you can see, the situation deteriorated rapidly: “I started running up and down the flight naked. And proceeded to pee on Dolph Lundgren’s feet,” Pritchard says, adding that the 6’5″ action star was “none too pleased” but eventually shook his hand and told him “not to worry about it.” Wow. We would’ve imagined the situation ending more along the lines of Pritchard being tossed from the emergency exit with a triumphant Lundgren muttering, “If he dies, he dies,” before returning to his seat and coolly falling asleep with a neck pillow and eye mask. John Wall And Friends Kicked Off Commercial Flight For Threatening Passenger Blame it on the entourage … According to TMZ reports : NBA superstar John Wall was kicked off an American Airlines flight in Las Vegas this week … after someone in his crew allegedly threatened another passenger … TMZ Sports has learned. Law enforcement sources tell us … the Washington Wizards star had boarded a flight headed to D.C. on May 26th — but before the plane took off, his crew got into a verbal argument with someone else on the plane and a threat was allegedly made from someone in Wall’s group. We’re told someone from the flight crew called the Las Vegas Metro Police Department for help — and cops boarded the plane to deal with the situation. The alleged victim told cops he did not want to press charges — but the pilot of the plane decided he did NOT want Wall and his crew to remain on the flight … so they were escorted off. We’re told Wall and his party left without further incident. Now this could have gone one of two ways, the passenger in question could have said something so out of pocket that there was only one response, OR John Wall’s homies were just a lil too aggressive this particular day. Last week, Scott Disick checked into rehab following an embarrassing incident at an Atlantic City hotel. It seems Scott was found drunk and barefoot , wandering the lobby of the Harrah’s Resort at 8 am, Sunday morning. Scott was escorted to his room, where he fell asleep and missed his checkout time and his flight to Chicago later that day. Not surprisingly, the incident made Scott realize the severity of his drinking problem, and just days later, he booked a room at the Rhythmia Life Advancement Center – a non-traditional addiction treatment facility in Costa Rica. The center specializes in Iboga therapy, in which patients consume all-natural hallucinogens and go on supervised “trips” that are intended to help them overcome their addictions. Sadly, it looks as though even such an unusual treatment method couldn’t keep Scott’s attention, as TMZ is reporting that Kourtney Kardashian’s baby daddy will be back in LA on Monday. Insiders say Scott actually had a flight home booked for today, but he had a last-second change of heart and decided to stay at the facility a bit longer. Even so, he’s falling well short of the recommended 21-day treatment plan. Disick has a long history of bailing on rehab , and he once ditched a Malibu treatment center after just 12 hours of in-patient care. His latest brief stint came last summer after Scott was hospitalized for alcohol poisoning . Disick admits that he could’ve died from the incident and it inspired him to seek help, but he lasted just one day in rehab. Paris Hilton’s brother Conrad Hilton checked into rehab immediately following his arrest for trying to kill the crew of a flight from London to Los Angeles. Conrad Hilton was arrested and appeared in court yesterday after surrendering to authorities investigating a bizarre incident … that took place last July. Hilton, 20, allegedly berated and threatened the crew during the British Airways flight from London to LAX, causing an epically disruptive scene. Conrad told federal officials he had taken a sleeping pill before boarding, and his attorney (THE) Robert Shapiro says that could’ve caused the outburst. Sources close to the Hilton family also say that Conrad voluntarily checked himself into a 30-day inpatient drug and alcohol treatment center afterward. Hilton was released on $100,000 bail at Tuesday’s hearing, during which he was ordered to turn over his passport and remain in the state of California. According to witnesses, he repeatedly threatened to “f–king kill” the flight staff and stated that he will “own” all of the “f–king peasants” on the flight. The tirade was so bad that kids on the flight were in tears, and one of the crew members decided to handcuff him to his seat after he passed out. While restrained, Hilton woke up, grabbed a flight attendant’s arm and screamed, “I could get you fired in five minutes. My father will pay this out.” “He’s done it before.
