He continues to turn away police investigators, but Tiger Woods issued a statement on his website today about his “embarrassing” car crash early Friday morning. As you might expect, Tiger’s statement failed to clear up any questions about the scrutinized, bizarre, middle-of-the-night accident outside his Florida estate.

SPORTS BUZZ : Tiger Woods has been rushed to a hospital after seriously injuring himself in a car crash. The Florida Highway Patrol said Woods hit a fire hydrant and tree as he pulled out of his driveway in his 2009 Cadillac sport utility vehicle.
