George Zimmerman’s “Black Friend” (Trayvon Martin Killer) Defends Him Till Death And Trayvon’s Parents Speak On Smear Campaign [Video]

This is ridiculous: Trayvon Martin, the teenager whose shooting death has sparked a national uproar, was suspended from school last month for having a baggie that contained marijuana residue in his book bag, a family spokesman said Monday. “There was no substance found. There was a baggie that school officials believe may have formerly contained marijuana. There was no arrest or citation from the police,” Ryan Julison said. Martin’s mother, Sybrina Fulton, suggested in comments at a news conference that the marijuana residue report was aimed at smearing her dead child. “They killed my son and now they’re trying to kill his reputation,” she said. Toxicology test results were still pending on the body of Martin, 17, who was shot Feb. 26 inside a gated community in the central Florida city of Sanford by neighborhood watch volunteer George Zimmerman. Martin was visiting his father in Sanford while he was suspended by Miami-Dade schools. He was unarmed. Zimmerman has not been charged in Martin’s death and claims self-defense. He told police that Martin knocked him down with a single punch and slammed his head into the sidewalk several times before he shot him, according to The Orlando Sentinel. Report: Police report details Zimmerman, witness accounts Martin’s killing has ignited racial tensions. Martin was black; Zimmerman’s father is white and his mother Hispanic. Also Monday, Florida’s Department of Juvenile Justice confirmed that Martin does not have a juvenile offender record. The information came after a public records request by The Associated Press. Will Prince William and Kate Middleton Reenact "The Kiss"?

Prince William and Kate Middleton, now the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, are headed back to the balcony that saw the kiss seen ’round the world. When they stepped out onto the balcony of Buckingham Palace last April 29 as husband and wife and kissed for the first time, it was a magic moment. Soon, the royals are set to return to that location in honor of Queen Elizabeth II’s Diamond Jubilee anniversary marking her 60-year reign, on June 5. Royal Wedding Kiss and Highlights Prior, the family will attend a service at St Paul’s Cathedral followed by two receptions, a lunch at Westminster Hall and a carriage procession to Buckingham Palace. Somehow we doubt William and Kate will upstage his grandmother with another kiss, but the royal wedding was a day many in the UK will remember. Taking the moment up a notch, after the much-anticipated public display of affection, a Royal Air Force flyover took to the skies to seal the spectacle. The Queen at least deserves that.

Christopher Chaney to Plead Guilty on Mila Kunis, Scarlett Johansson Hacking Scandal

It was so worth it, right Christopher Chaney? The 35-year-old Florida man, who admitted to hacking email accounts belonging to Scarlett Johansson, Mila Kunis and Christina Aguilera (among others), is due to plead guilty in federal court Monday to nine felony offenses. He’ll receive a lighter sentence in exchange. Christopher Chaney was facing more than 100 years in prison for identity theft, unauthorized computer access and wiretapping that affected roughly 50 victims. He is said to have hacked into the accounts and attached a bug that allowed him to receive a copy of every email sent by the unaware user. Not shady at all. He would then shop some the goods, such as the Scarlett Johansson nude photos , to celebrity websites. Fortunately, the FBI eventually tracked him down. Johansson, for her part, kept a sense of humor about the whole thing, telling Vanity Fair , “I know my best angles.” Does she have any not-best angles? Chaney, who is free on bail, albeit wearing an ankle monitor and prohibited from using computers, still will likely face prison time despite the plea deal.

New Yorkers Call For Justice For Trayvon Martin In ‘Million Hoodie March’

The Rev. Al Sharpton and hundreds of protesters flood Union Square in support of the 17-year-old who was fatally shot in Florida. By Miranda Johnson, with additional reporting by Kimberly Reynolds Demonstrators chant at the Million Hoodie March in honor of Trayvon Martin Photo: John Moore/ Getty Images NEW YORK — Hundreds of people took to New York City streets calling for justice for slain Florida teen Trayvon Martin on Wednesday evening (March 21). Protestors flooded Union Square in what was dubbed the Million Hoodie March, in support of the 17-year-old who was shot on February 26 by 28-year-old neighborhood watchman George Zimmerman in a gated Sanford, Florida, community. The Rev. Al Sharpton and Martin’s parents led the demonstrators who demanded that Zimmerman be arrested. The protest occurred the same day that the Sanford city manager announced that police could not arrest Zimmerman because he was protected by the so-called “Stand Your Ground” law, which allows Floridians to shoot anyone they believe is threatening them. Martin, who was walking from the store to his dad’s home in the gated community, was wearing a hoodie when Zimmerman spotted him and called 911. Police dispatchers instructed Zimmerman not to pursue the teen, but by the time police arrived on the scene, Trayvon was dead. “By not pressing charges against Zimmerman, they will be continuing a long and horrific history of Jim Crow justice in the deep south,” demonstrator Ben Backer told MTV News. “If we are not in the era of Jim Crow justice, George Zimmerman should be arrested and should be prosecuted for murder.” “America really needs to open their eyes to the fact that there is still racism in America,” protestor Nicole Sams said. “That racism killed a 17-year-old kid.” Union Square protestors wore hoodies as a sign of solidarity and took turns calling out, “Am I suspicious?” and then chanting, “We want arrests.” Several held signs that read, “I am not a hoodlum, I just wear hoods.” “We’re not going to stop until we get justice,” Trayvon’s father, Tracy Martin, said to the crowd. His mother, Sabrina Fulton, thanked the supporters while acknowledging her own grief saying. “My heart is in pain, but to see the support of all of you really makes a difference,” she said.

Mitt Romney’s campaign slogan may be “Believe in America,” but “Two steps forward, one step back” seems more appropriate considering the momentum the candidate and his advisers consistently manage to throw a wet blanket on every time they see some success. Jeb Bush, the Romney campaign had everything… Broadcasting platform : YouTube Source : The Blaze Discovery Date : 21/03/2012 19:07 Number of articles : 2

One Direction Announce Headlining U.S. Tour

Chart-topping British boy band will kick off tour on May 24 in Fairfax, Virginia. By Jocelyn Vena One Direction Photo: Redferns With their record-breaking debut album, Up All Night, topping the charts , One Direction plan to hit the road for their first-ever headlining tour in the States. The U.K. boy band will kick off the trek May 24 in Fairfax, Virginia, as part of a North American tour set to wrap up on July 1 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, with stops along the way in cities like Chicago, New York, Atlanta and Las Vegas. News of the guys’ tour comes as Up All Night made One Direction the first British group to have a debut album at #1 on the Billboard 200 on Wednesday (March 21). U.S. hysteria for the guys has been over-the-top, with hard-core fans wildly greeting them at stops all over the country. But one of the 1D fellas, Niall Horan, explained to MTV News that the band’s truly appreciative of all the fan love . “No way were we expecting it to do anything like that,” he said of enthusiasm for the album in the States. “We haven’t spent that much time out here and obviously not a lot of people know us, but the power of our fans, they never seem to stop amazing us. They’re absolutely brilliant and they’ve bought the album in great numbers.” Want the scoop on One Direction’s dapper boy-band style? Head over to MTV Style! This won’t be the guys’ first tour in America, though. Earlier this year One Direction toured with Big Time Rush, and things got pretty crazy, according to Horan. “Since we’ve been here, we did Radio City [Music Hall in New York] with Big Time Rush, and when we were leaving the venue, there was a lot of people waiting outside for us and it was like the movies,” he recalled. “We were trying to drive away. [Fans] were running through traffic. It was literally like something you’d see in a movie.” It doesn’t seem the hysteria is going to die down anytime soon. Before 1D even hit the road in May, they’ll perform at the Kids’ Choice Awards on March 31, and then they’ll take the “Saturday Night Live” stage a week later, on April 7. And all this buzz around the five Brits has fans wondering if they might be getting their own show on Nickelodeon . But Horan said that’s not the case, for now at least. “We’ve just been doing stuff with Nickelodeon. They’ve been brilliant to us; they’ve been really good to us. [But] there’s no sign of a TV show,” he said. “We haven’t heard anything. We’re obviously doing the Kids’ Choice and stuff, but there’s no deal been done or anything [for a show]. They’re just kind of helping us out, I suppose.” One Direction tour dates so far, according to band’s record label:
