News, the Kardashians hired a party planner for the 200-person affair, while guests included Heather McDonald and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Faye Resnick. Kendall Jenner also received the ridiculous shoes cited above, while Kylie received two new Celine purses. As for the second photo posted above? “If Santa didn’t make it to your house, now you know why,” Jenner wrote. “We have a rough one. Merry Christmas and happy holidays!”

SPOILER ALERT: Be warned, major details ahead … Marvel revealed that Parker will die, and the role of Spider-Man will be taken over by his archenemy, Doctor Octopus, after “Amazing Spider-Man” #700. This chapter marks the end of one of the most popular comic book series of all time after 50 years, and Parker’s death is not sitting well with some fans. All parties involved maintain that the changes are permanent, and next month, the saga begins anew with the release of “The Superior Spider-Man” #1. Doc, Otto Octavius, will step into the Spidey suit then. Otto believes that with the combination of his intelligence and Parker’s inherited memories and spider powers, he can be an uber-Spider-Man. He can live Parker’s life better than Peter could – from fighting crime to getting back together with on-again, off-again girlfriend Mary Jane Watson. When issue #700 was leaked early, fan reaction went into overdrive, with a few posted death threats directed at the issue’s writer, Dan Slott. Slott reacted on his Twitter and Facebook, writing: “Reality check: There is NO such thing as a ‘funny death threat.’ Especially if you TAG someone in it.” CNN spoke to Slott, who did say fans have become more civil over time, and to Marvel editor Stephen Wacker about the controversial comic. For reasons that defy comprehension, Khloe Kardashian will co-host The X Factor when it goes live next month. And how does the less annoying version of Kim Kardashian feel about this gig? Anxious. “What if I get kicked off the show because I say something so bad?” Khloe asked during an appearance on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show Friday. “That is what I’m nervous about, but listen, I can’t be anyone else but myself. I just have to control the language a little bit.” Kardashian will share the stage with Mario Lopez, who she refers to as “the nicest guy” and someone who will “take the pressure off.” And what about judges Demi Lovato or Britney Spears? Khloe is a big fan of each, telling Capital FM in the UK of Britney: “I think she is so funny and amazing. I am actually surprised at how honest she is on the show. Radcliffe Haughton, a troubled Wisconsin man, barged into a Wisconsin spa and allegedly shot seven women, killing three, before taking his own life. His estranged wife, Zina Haughton, was among those fatally wounded. Zina Haughton died after husband Radcliffe Haughton opened fire at the Azana Salon & Spa in Brookfield, Wis., Sunday, a source close to the investigation said. Police have yet to confirm the identities of the other women killed. This was not the first sign of trouble. Officials were called to the spa several weeks before the shooting because Haughton allegedly slashed the tires of his wife’s car. He was arrested and charged for the incident and ordered to surrender all guns. Zina Haughton also sought a restraining order on her husband October 8 and a judge issued a four-year restraining order just last Thursday, according to reports. Investigators say they are still unclear why Radcliffe Haughton allegedly snapped, although they say he and his wife had been estranged for some time. Witnesses say Zina’s daughter, Yasmeen Daniel, 20, also witnessed the shooting. Zina and Radcliffe Haughton have a 13-year-old daughter together, who was living with her father until the shooting occurred, a source close to the family said. Radcliffe Haughton’s father, Radcliffe Haughton Sr., apologized to the victims and their families for his son’s apparent actions shortly after the incident. “All I can say is, I want to apologize to the people of Milwaukee who have been hurt. He did not give me any hint of what he would do,” Haughton told ABC News. The shooting erupted 11:09 a.m. local time in Brookfield, and shortly after SWAT teams surrounded the spa with their guns drawn, preparing for a gun battle. Witnesses described screaming women, at least one bleeding, fleeing the spa, with one rolling down a slight hill before police scooped her up and got her out of the area. Customers – some still in robes, others barefoot – ran out of the spa in a panic. Police found Haughton in a locked section of the building where he had apparently shot himself, the chief said. The four injured women ranged in age from 22-40. The hospital was briefly placed on lockdown and only patients with a police escort were being accepted.
