Teen heartthrob Justin Bieber , 16,  and Ozzy Osbourne , 62, will be appearing in a Best Buy ad at the Super Bowl.  What a brilliant move on the part Best Buy.   Justin Bieber is every teen girl’s fantasy so with him appearing on an ad for Best Buy on the Super Bowl you know they are all going to be tuning in too see it. According to Drew Panayiotu, Best Buy’s senior vice president of U.S. marketing, the Osbourne-Bieber commercial will “showcase creativity and humour,” and that the two will go beyond viewer expectations by adding “a whole new dimension of fun” to the ad. The Biebs tweeted to his followers: “Can’t really say what I’m up to today but when u guys find out its gonna be funny as heck,” later adding, “#todaywasepic.” Then on Wednesday, he spilled the beans a bit, admitting to filming a “pretty funny commercial” with Osbourne, 62. Selena Gomez Twitter, Facebook Hacked: Video Evidence!

To the countless young women out there who wish to date Justin Bieber , be warned: it isn’t all fun and bangs. Selena Gomez, who has already faced a number of death threats from obsessed fans, had her social networking accounts hacked into today. Some moron known as “Pkinj0r-aka-Prokill” went in and launched attacks on Bieber and his followers. To wit: The incident took place around 10:30 a.m. EST, as the hacker actually posted a YouTube video (below) that cataloged his use of Selena’s Facebook page. After a half hour, Gomez regained control of her Twitter and wrote: “Obviously, my Facebook has been hacked. My twitter has been fixed and everyone is working on Facbook [sic]. Gabi Gregg, who goes by @gabifresh on Twitter, was crowned MTV’s first-ever Twitter Jockey at the live finale of “Follow Me: The Search for the First MTV TJ” on Sunday night (August 8). The 24-year-old Detroit native and plus-size-fashion blogger was one of 20 contestants chosen by MTV, in partnership with ZYNC from American Express, to compete for a $100,000 contract to be the social-media face of MTV. Throughout the first round of challenges, Gabi’s eye for style and gregarious charm catapulted her to more than 5,000 Twitter followers and nabbed her the highest number of votes on the ZYNC by American Express Facebook hub. Only five of the original contestants made it to the live finale in New York City, and Gabi, rocking a little black dress on the sparkly stage at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, continued her winning streak to top the popular vote during every elimination round. Moments after it was revealed that Gabi nabbed the throne, the @MTVTJ account was transferred to her possession, and she tweeted her first official message: “Ommmmmgggggg thAnk you to everyone.” Gabi spoke to MTV News only moments after sending off her first dispatch, and she told us all about why she’s excited about the position — including the fact that it’s her first job since she graduated from college two years ago. Real Madrid to sign £21m Angel Di María – reports

• Winger’s move from Benfica to be confirmed next week • Argentina international had interested Premier League clubs Real Madrid are poised to sign Argentina’s Angel Di María for about €25m (£21m), according to reports in the Spanish press. The deal to bring the winger from the Portuguese champions, Benfica, was agreed in a meeting between the two club presidents yesterday and is expected to be confirmed early next week. Benfica had initially insisted on the €40m fee specified in the player’s buyout clause but after Di María lobbied hard for a move to the Spanish club, Benfica’s president, Luis Felipe Vieira, agreed to settle for a lower amount. The Argentina international will sign a five-year contract worth about €2m a year, making him one of Madrid’s more modestly rewarded first-team players. Di María is currently with the Argentina squad in South Africa and played in their opening World Cup victory over Nigeria on Saturday. Di María had attracted interest from a number of Premier League clubs including Manchester City. Radio 2 presenter outrages Twitter followers by retweeting joke about African football fans at World Cup Radio 2 presenter Chris Evans has apologised for posting a joke about poverty in Africa and the World Cup on Twitter. Evans retweeted a joke about African football fans and the noisy horns known as vuvuzelas that had been circulating on the micro-blogging site. The 44-year-old Evans, who has more than 84,000 followers on Twitter, said “You give an African £2 a month and what do they do? Buy a bloody trumpet.” The comment sparked criticism from some of his followers, with one calling it a “bit Bernard Manning”. Another wrote: “Chris Evans is a backward racist. I used to like this fool. Lets make jokes about gingers and see how he likes it!” Evans soon removed the tweet and apologised, claiming that he had not read the joke properly before retweeting it to his followers. “Apologies for last retweet didn’t read it properly,” he said. “Never meant to offend. Not funny at all.” Less than 10 minutes later he tweeted again, saying: “Sticking with my not funny verdict”. Evans, who replaced Sir Terry Wogan on Radio 2’s breakfast show in January, will return to TV to host the One Show on Fridays. The BBC is looking at the possibility of broadcasting an alternative “vuvuzela free” version of its World Cup coverage . •

Killers Singer Brandon Flowers Preps Solo Debut

Leave it to Killers singer Brandon Flowers to find a way to pay homage to his sucker’s-paradise hometown in the announcement of his debut solo album. After a week of Web teases, Flowers announced that he’d be stepping out on the band with a disc called Flamingo, which the band’s official Web site says is “coming soon.” The announcement, in the form of a broken-down neon sign that has the singer’s name and a playing-card club lit up in red, is accompanied by a spare electronic track made up of pinging synth notes and some wordless falsetto vocals. The singer has also set up a parallel site that contains the same synth loop and glowing sign and that will presumably be a source of information about the disc. The Killers teased the news of the Flowers album on Twitter earlier this week, telling their followers to check their official site for “big updates.” While on tour in Australia earlier this year, the band canceled a number of dates following the death of Flowers’ mother and said they would be taking an indefinite break from touring. A spokesperson for the group could not be reached for further details about the album’s release. It appears Flowers isn’t the only Killer taking a break, as drummer Ronnie Vannucci has signed up to perform in a supergroup called Mt.
