Ellen DeGeneres has become the latest female celebrity to have a comic book published about her life. The 51-year-old comedian follows in the footsteps of Princess Diana, JK Rowling, Oprah Winfrey and Michelle Obama to have a Female Force comic book written about her. Darren Davis, president of Bluewater, the company behind the comic-book series, said: “People forget what a groundbreaking talent she is and that fame did not come overnight.

No James Bond For Gerard Butler

Sorry ladies, Gerard Butler won’t be following in the footsteps of his Scottish countryman Sean Connery to play James Bond any time soon. Speaking with British magazine ShortList , the Ugly Truth actor thinks playing the suave secret agent would prevent him from getting other acting jobs.  “I enjoy doing an array of films. If I was to play Bond, that would quickly stop.

Nintendo DS pirate gets jail time

A Japanese Nintendo DS game pirate has been sentenced to 2.5 years in prison and given a nearly $100,000 USD fine, after being convicted of making 1000 ROMs of DS games available for download. The man, Yoshiaki Asagiri, was arrested in late 2008 and was charged with “distributing games online without permission” and the “breaking of Japanese copyright law,” says Kotaku
