Fair Or Foul? Soap Star Sues Mental Hospital For Son’s Suicide Soap actor Kristoff St. John is suing a mental facility for his son’s suicide and he may have some merit to his claim. TMZ explains: Kristoff St. John is suing the hospital where his son committed suicide — blasting the mental facility for giving him access to the plastic bag he used to kill himself. The “Young and the Restless” star’s 24-year-old son Julian St. John killed himself in November while getting treatment at La Casa Mental Health Hospital in Long Beach. He was found dead in a bathroom with a plastic bag over his head. The reason for Kristoff’s wrongful death lawsuit — he says his son did the same thing less than 3 weeks before his death … attempting to asphyxiate himself with a trash bag from his room. In the wrongful death suit, Kristoff says after that failed attempt … the hospital never removed the trash bags from his room. In his lawsuit, Kristoff says there’s evidence the nurses were falsifying records. He says staffers were supposed to check on Julian every 15 minutes because he was a high suicide risk — but records show they were logging welfare checks before they even happened. For instance, Julian was pronounced dead at 1:44 PM, but nurses had already logged 6 welfare checks between 2 PM and 3:15 PM. Kristoff feels the facility was negligent in its supervision of his son — and if the staff had “acted with even the slighted regard for Julian’s safety, he would still be alive today.” Does his claim sound strong enough to be rewarded?

The music mogul was slapped with two federal tax liens – – one in December 2014, the other in February 2015 — for refusing to pay a total of $1,942,400.58 in back taxes. Birdman quickly learned no one’s more gangsta than Uncle Sam — the feds threatened to snatch up his property and assets if he didn’t pay ASAP … and within a few months, Birdman paid off the debt. I am not listening to the naysayers who keep trying to say he doesn’t love me and encourage me to leave. I will admit, I am in a lot of pain every day, physically. I am on several different pain medications which keep me up. I am not able to get more than three hours of sleep. I’m attending counseling three times per week and I know in my heart that God will help me get through this. I’m blessed to be alive and still have the love and support of my family I am finding it easier each day to shun the haters that leave me text messages and voicemails,” says Marrika. Norman also said this about taking responsibility for his actions… “Fellas, we as men have a problem with our apologies. If you make a mistake, own up to it and man up! That’s what I had to do to get my queen back. I apologize to my brothers of Jagged Edge, to my family, my wife and my fans and anyone I let down. New Jersey Amusement Park In Trouble For Raunchy Charity Event A charity event held last Saturday at a New Jersey amusement park was shut down early as the adults-only event got a little raunchy. The Grio reports: Family-friendly Clementon Park and Splashworld has since come under fire for hosting the event, as many videos of women twerking, grinding and some fight videos have surfaced online. The event was called ‘Summer Splash’ and was billed as an “adults-only” fundraiser for Sickle Cell Anemia. Some residents have even said they will not be returning to the park with their kids for fear of what they might see. “I would like to reiterate that Clementon Park and Splash World is a family-oriented park, and is an important part of this community,” a spokeswoman for the park told NBC10. “This type of event will never occur on our property again.” Jeremy Featherson was in attendance at the “event.” A video he shared of three women explicitly dancing on top of a car has been viewed nearly 400,000 times as of Friday morning. Featherson referred to the woman as “strippers” brought in specifically for the occasion. Some have defended the event, saying there were no children in attendance and it was a private function. Really!?!?
Police Destroyed Molestation Report Against Josh Duggar TLC’s ’19 Kids And Counting’ star Josh Duggar recently confessed to molesting his sister and young girls in his community. According to new reports, local law enforcement knew of his disgusting crimes! Via Mediaite : Arkansas police destroyed the 2006 offense report against Josh Duggar that included molestation accusations against him. In Touch magazine published the report earlier this week, which led to Duggar publicly confessing he molested multiple young girls when he was a teenager. But Scott Lewis, a spokesman for the Springdale police, said that they were ordered to destroy the report. Judge Stacey Zimmerman ordered the record expunged from the record on Thursday (the day the scandal broke wide, as Lewis explained. He said, “As far as the Springdale Police Department is concerned this report doesn’t exist.” The confession was such a big deal, TLC pulled its Duggar family-centered show 19 Kids and Counting from its lineup entirely. Black Family Receives Hateful Note From Racist White Neighbors Police on Long Island say their hate crimes unit is investigating an anonymous note sent to a black resident asking her and her family to leave the town, which the letter said is “84 percent white.” Via NBC New York : “ATTN: AFRICAN-AMERICAN FAMILY,” the all-caps note read. “THIS IS COMING FROM LINDENHURST COMMUNITY.” “YOU DON’T BELONG HERE,” the letter continued. “PLEASE LEAVE LINDENHURST AS SOON AS YOU CAN. IT WILL BE BETTER FOR ALL OF US.” The letter urged the woman to find a town “WHERE THERE ARE MORE PEOPLE LIKE YOU,” and ended with, “SORRY IF THIS IS RUDE, BUT IT’S THE TRUTH.” Darcell Copes lives in the home with her three grown children and five young grandchildren. “I went from being fearful, protecting my family, to being totally confused, and wanted to know who and why,” she told NBC 4 New York Friday. “Today, it becomes even deeper: is it someone in the school district, is it the guy at the corner store, is it my neighbor down the street? Where?” Daughter Ronica Copes uploaded a photo of the menacing, hateful letter to Facebook, and the image has since been shared more than 1,500 times. Dozens of Facebook commenters expressed outrage about the letter, postmarked May 19. “Sooooo, I’m checking my mail and when I come across this I can’t help but laugh… wait, it’s not funny though,” Ronica Copes wrote on her Facebook page. “Where they do that at? Oh yeah Lindenhurst. Unbelievable but then it’s not … our daily reality, I’ve just never seen it in this form.” The Copes said they’ve been receiving support from the community. The family has lived in the home for two years and say they hadn’t experienced overt racism in the past since moving there — but the letter is proof that alive and well in 2015, and they’re not shocked. Babylon Town and Lindenhurst Village condemned the letter for its “racist hateful views” in a joint statement obtained by Lindenhurst Patch Friday. You can’t be serious!
