Rescue Dog Dies After Repeatedly Being Punched According to Mail Online A rescue dog saved from being put down was punched to death by its new owners just four days after being given a new chance at life. Gipper, a four year old Rottweiler from south Florida, died after being repeatedly punched in the face by its 47-year-old new owner, Brian Perry. The dog had run over to a neighbor’s home in New Port Richey, near Tampa, and started barking at other dogs. Police in New Port Richey said 47-year-old Brian Perry beat the dog with his fists. He later buried the body but has so far refused to tell police where he put it. Police said the rescue dog was not attacking anyone and was not a threat. Gipper’s death has stunned the President of the animal rescue organization that placed Gipper with the Perry family. Grace Acosta, who runs the Gulfstream Guardian Angels Rottweiler Rescue said the Perrys had passed all the necessary background checks. ‘These people that adopted this dog from us went through the whole thing. We had excellent vet reports, we had someone visit their home, checking the home. It was approved. And they came with their own dog to meet with us,’ Acosta said. This breaks our heart. High School Security Guard Threatens To Shoot Up School According to Raw Story A man was arrested earlier this week for a terrorist threat against Nyack High School in New York, where he was employed as a security officer. Kenneth A. Carter, 51, was arrested May 22 without incident after a co-worker told police he made threats against the school. Carter allegedly threatened to “go home, get his guns and blow the place up” after facing disciplinary action from school officials. He was charged with making terroristic threats, a felony, and later released on $1,000 bail. Nyack Superintendent of Schools Dr. James Montesano said “at no point did we believe that our students were placed in harm’s way or there was an imminent threat of danger to them” in a statement on the school’s website. He alleged news reports of the incident did “not present an accurate representation of facts.” Montesano told Patch.com that Carter had always been “courteous and caring toward students.” He added that the media had sensationalized the incident. Fridays after the singer’s concert in Florida and he took her back to his room at the Gansevoort South hotel, the mag claims. After the alleged one-night stand, the woman gave birth in late October 2010 to a baby girl, a “source” said in the report. “She gave birth to a baby girl later that year, and Justin didn’t know anything about it. She just wanted to protect her baby. She wanted to keep her and her family away from any spotlight,” the source said. “In my opinion, she does look a lot like Justin did at that same age.” To take it a step further, the tabloid printed alleged texts between Bieber and the woman after their supposed hook-up where he says “thanks 4 last night” and calls it “Our little secret?” A rep for Bieber has claimed that the story is completely false. Jacksonville, North Carolina, police say 21-year-old Rubi Estefania Smith, of Bakersfield, California, was found dead Sunday afternoon in a motel room near Camp Lejeune. She is the wife of Lance Cpl. Esteban J. Smith, a 23-year-old Marine who died Sunday in a gunfight with Texas authorities. Marine Corps spokeswoman Capt. Maureen Krebs says Smith served two combat tours in Afghanistan, returning most recently in November 2012. Esteban Smith is suspected of going on a two-hour West Texas shooting rampage that left one woman dead and five others wounded. An assault rifle, handgun and hundreds of rounds of ammunition were recovered from Smith’s vehicle. Master Sgt. Jonathan Cress, spokesman for Camp Lejeune, said investigators have determined the firearms used in the shootings were not issued by the military. The body of the Marine’s wife, Rubi Estefania Smith was discovered at around 2pm Sunday at the Sunset Inn – a motel advertising low rates and Jacuzzi tubs near the gates of the sprawling Marine base on the North Carolina coast. Mrs Smith was discovered after Navy investigators working on the scene in Texas found evidence on the Marine’s body and contacted police in North Carolina. There are more than 1,500 miles – more than a 22-hour drive – separating the sites of the two incidents. An autopsy is underway to determine when she died but that evidence collected as part of the ongoing investigation ‘establishes that Esteban Smith appears to be responsible for his wife’s death.’ Esteban Smith, 23, died in a shootout with police early Sunday morning after he randomly fired on five vehicles from his truck as he ran amok through Concho County, Texas, according to Tom Vinger, spokesman for the Texas Department of Public Safety. For two hours on Sunday, the man – armed with an assault rifle, a handgun and hundreds of rounds of ammunition – opened fire on unsuspecting motorists from his pickup truck as he drove around the remote central Texas county. The Texas Department of Public Safety said Alicia Torres, 41, was shot dead in her car. The Texas Rangers and other law enforcement authorities reported multiple shooting scenes in Concho County, a rural community with a population of 4,000 about 250 miles southwest of Dallas. Authorities have not commented yet on a motive for the shootings, but they believe the gunman chose his targets at random. The first shooting took place about 4.30am on Sunday when the suspect opened fire on vehicle near Eden, wounding a woman, who was later hospitalized in San Angelo, authorities said. The suspect wounded two more people a short time later as they sat in their truck outside a convenience store in Brady, and then returned to Eden, where heed fired on another vehicle and wounded another person. Those three were treated and released. About 6am, Torres was found shot to death in her car in Eola. Some 15 minutes later, Concho County Sheriff Richard Doane encountered the suspect on a highway north of Eden. The man opened fire on the squad car, wounding the sheriff. Doane was taken to a San Angelo hospital with non-life threatening injuries, authorities said. Moments later, a Highway Patrol trooper and a game warden, who responded to the sheriff’s calls for backup, arrived and engaged the gunman. He was killed in the ensuing shootout. What a tragedy.

Parents Put Girl In Cage According to The NY Post Two parents face charges after authorities say motorists spied a 10-year-old girl riding in a dog cage in the back of a pickup truck in western Pennsylvania. The Pittsburgh Tribune Review reports police say it happened around 7 p.m. Monday on the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Millvale, just outside Pittsburgh. Authorities say they responded after getting reports from motorists who saw the girl riding in the back of the truck in the cage. Her mother, 29-year-old Abbey Carlson, and stepfather, 30-year-old Thomas Fishinger, are now facing charges of endangering the welfare of a child. Police say they told them the girl had said she wanted to be with the dog. Reliable telephone listings for the couple could not immediately be located and it wasn’t clear if they had an attorney. A 31-year-old prostitute who said she turned tricks for Vincent George Sr., 55, and Jr., 33, insisted in court Tuesday that her pimps treated her right for 14 years. “I love him … He’s a good father,” said Danielle Geissler of Allentown, Pa., who has an 8-year-old girl with George Jr. “We slapped each other around sometimes but never over work or staying in the life,” she added, referring to the hooker lifestyle. The violence only occurred during their “low” moments, Geissler said, which came when she wasn’t sexually satisfied. “If I didn’t get it, I’d hate the world,” she said. The quintet of fawning women appeared in Manhattan criminal court and were expected to testify in the men’s defense. When George Jr. entered the courtroom he looked over at the row of his beaming girls, raised his eyebrows in acknowledgment and gave a sleazy slight smile. Geissler said she started working for George Jr. on her 18th birthday and that he made sure she always had enough money to pay her mortgage and other bills. She had a house, two cars, vacations, clothes and, according to her, “a full fridge.” But when pressed by prosecutors, Geissler revealed the brutality of the pimp-prostitute arrangement. She admitted she paid her mortgage to a man who actually owned her house. He promised to give her the house as soon as she paid off the mortgage. She also admitted she had no bank account and failed to pay her credit cards. Nevertheless, her devotion to George Jr. — who, with his father, faces charges of sex trafficking, money laundering and other crimes — was complete. She said she pleaded with George Jr. for permission to get a tattoo of “Daddy Ko” on her shoulder when she was 19 — a reference to her pimp’s nickname, King Kobe. “I begged him for it. [But] he didn’t want anyone walking around with his name,” Geissler said. The Georges were busted last year for allegedly using a music recording company and their livery car service to launder millions of dollars for their bordello on wheels. But defense attorney Howard Greenberg said his clients’ line of work was harmless. “The women, simply put, worked as ‘hos’ because they wanted to,” he said. “Of course they’re promoting prostitutes .. . what’s the big deal?” It’s hard to turn a bottom beyotch. Maurice Jones-Drew Charged With Battery After Fighting Security Guard Via TMZ reports: Jacksonville Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew has been charged with battery after allegedly KO’ing a security guard at the Conch House in St. Augustine, FL … TMZ has learned. According to the police report obtained by TMZ, MJD is accused of striking the security guard with a closed fist on the guard’s left cheek, knocking him out. According to cops, the punch was intentional. The incident went down during “Reggae Sundays” at the the Conch House restaurant on May 26. According to the police report, witnesses say … MJD’s buddy was told by security to stop touching a young female. The buddy allegedly “slapped” a security guard on his chest … and a melee ensued. One the security guards reportedly put MJD’s friend in a headlock to stop the fight … and that’s when MJD stepped in and clocked the guard. After the incident, the security guard spoke with police — and cops noted that the guy’s jaw was “swollen a great deal and had a large lump on his jaw bone.” The security guard was hospitalized after the incident — and doctors found contusions and a bone bruise, but no broken bones. Further reports claim attorney Sue M. Hall, lead counsel for Duncan, countered by requesting that the date for discovery be amended from June 13 until 30 days after the Spurs playoff run ends. San Antonio now leads Memphis 2-0 in the Western Conference Finals. In the request to have the discovery gate delayed, T.T.D. (Duncan’s middle name is Theodore) was identified as a member of the Spurs team whose “employment is currently making extraordinary demands on him and hopefully will continue to make those demands for the next 30 days or so,” TMZ reported. Duncan’s attorney also indicate his client plans to enforce a prenuptial agreement the couple signed at the time of the union, which came some four years after he was selected as the first pick in the 1997 NBA draft, according to TMZ. Just last year, Duncan inked a 3-year, $36 million extension with the team. The couple has two small children, and seems Duncan has indicated he and his soon to be ex will come to an agreement over financial support.
