Jada Pinkett Smith Boycott Oscars Video You won’t be finding Jada Pinkett Smith on the Oscars red carpet or at home watching the ceremony either. After questioning whether or not people of color should boycott the show over the weekend, Jada doubled down on her statements with a new Facebook video detailing why it’s time for black folks “to do us, differently.” Jada says we’re too powerful and too dignified to be begging the academy for acknowledgement and that it’s time to pool our resources together and look at ourselves the way we’re asking mainstream to look at us. Do you agree with Jada’s comments? Is it time to stop laughing and actually pay attention to black-centric award shows like BET, NAACP, etc or should we continue fighting for seats at mainstream’s table?

Ellen DeGeneres Adopts Puppy Named Kid During last week’s episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show , the iconic host announced the exciting news that she adopted a dog named Kid! What else were you thinking? According to Rumor Fix Ellen is very excited about the newwest addition to her family: “I have not talked about this yet, but we have a new puppy. Portia and I got a puppy and his name is Kid so now we have a kid,” she reveals. “Yep. I mean, he is absolutely adorable.” He’s 9 weeks old and cute as can be, but I’ll tell you what’s not cute is to wake up at 11, and 1, and 3 and 5. And then 5 is when he’s up, up,” she adds. “It really makes me appreciate what it’s like to be a mother,” she said. “Because like I’m trying to hold a puppy while I’m trying to make coffee. And I can’t do anything. He doesn’t let me do anything. ” And what’s with the name Kid?! Ellen explains, “I named him Kid because ya know people, there have been rumors forever, when are you and Portia gonna have a kid? So now I can say we have a Kid. Snapchat Me That…Robber? Cali Criminal Gets Caught Via Snapchat ID

  California Criminal Get Caught After Snapchatting With His Victim Despite the fact that taking flicks doing illegal isht is incredibly stupid, people still seem to make the mistake.  Unfortunately for this guy, this stupidity might’ve cost him a hefty jail stint. Recently, NBC  reported that this man, Victor Almanza-Martinez, was one of four suspects in an armed robbery at Lovers Point Park in Northern California. Leave it to a real social media addict to exchange snapchat info with one of the female victims, after robbing them of their belongings including a 2013 Chrysler 200. Talk about thirsty! It wasn’t long after that were able to identify the robber via snapchat ID and he is now facing charges for armed robbery, kidnapping, possession of stolen property, conspiracy, violation of probation and gang enhancements. Ol’ boy’s bail is set at a whopping $170,000. What the hell is the world coming too?

California Woman Finds This Bodypart In Her Salad What would you do if you sat down for a quiet dinner with your family and next thing you know you’re munching on fingertips instead of chicken tenders? Well, unfortunately Mrs. Cathleen Martin of Atascadero , California found out the hard way. While chowing down on the ‘Chinese chicken salad’ at a local Applebee’s she found a bloody surprise in her bowl of greens. A fingertip. Yes, by fingertip we mean the tip of someone’s finger. After showing the manager, he confirmed that the fingertip was from one of the cook’s. To make matter’s worse, Martin claimed the entire family ate from the salad, which would include her unborn child. According to Fox News , Applebee’s issued a public letter offering their deepest apologies and are doing what they can to address her concerns. Despite the apology, the family lawyered up quick and are suing for unspecified damages, medical expenses, and loss of income. Applebee’s better be ready to cough up the cash!

The New York Daily News made a powerful attempt to depict the facts in Cosby’s case and the accusations held against him. Many who still cape for Bill Cosby as “America’s Dad” may feel let down but, don’t kill the messenger. There have been over 50 women that say that Mr. Cosby has committed similar crimes against them. Could they ALL be in cahoots? We don’t know. We understand that it’s “innocent until proven guilty”, but facts are facts. This is more than just a “he said, she said” case, when there are over 50 “she’s” in question.
