Drama of course ensues, the house full of women, mostly due to the presence of this wildcard Priscilla Rainey. After a few episodes, Priscilla went from the show star to Houdini — literally. She was never eliminated from the show, yet she suddenly never appeared on film again. Recently we found out why, she’s claiming that Game touched her against her will. Key And Peele Create A New Comedy Show For Fox Starring King Bach Don’t let anyone tell you that “internet fame” isn’t a real thing! Via Deadline : Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele have set up a followup TV series project to their hit Comedy Central sketch show Key & Peele — a single-bachelor copycamera undercover cop comedy starring top Vine personality Andrew Bachelor aka King Bach. Key and Peele are executive producing the project as well. Written by Key & Peele writer-producer Alex Rubens, the untitled comedy is loosely based on a King Bach Vine and stars Bachelor as an undercover cop who grew up on the streets and goes back to his old neighborhood to take down the bad guys who bullied him when they were kids. Rubens, Key and Peele executive produce. As his exuberant alter ego King Bach, Bachelor has become Vine’s biggest star, boasting 14 million followers and 5.1 billion loops. The Groundlings alum has parlayed his Vine success into a rising acting career with recurring roles on The Mindy Project, House Of Lies and Black Jesus. He also appeared on Key & Peele. Randy Pullen Says Take Guns Away From Blacks Because They’re Killers Ever wonder why the Republican Party has trouble attracting Black and minority voters?? Maybe Arizona Republican Party Chairman Randy Pullen has the answer… Via Phoenix New Times : While watching Tuesday night’s Democratic presidential candidate debate, Pullen tweeted that black people are the “main killers” in society and suggested taking away their guns: “Yes black lives matter. The best way to end the slaughter of young black men is to take guns away from blacks as they are the main killers,” Pullen wrote. Pullen’s correct that most young black men are killed by other black people — but then again, most white people are killed by other white people. Statistics also don’t bear out the idea that black people do most of the killing in the United States, either. FBI crime stats show that white people committed 4,849 murders in 2010 while black people committed 5,770 — but the stats also show that 4,224 murders were committed by someone whose race was unknown. Deiondre Porter Arrested For Shooting At Pregnant Girlfriend Florida freshman star Deiondre Porter was suspended indefinitely after police arrested him on four felony charges after he allegedly held a gun to his pregnant girlfriend’s head. Via ESPN : Porter, one of the team’s top special teams players, was arrested Wednesday on aggravated assault charges. According to the Alachua County police report, Porter faces one charge of aggravated battery (second-degree felony), one charge of firing a weapon into a vehicle or building (third-degree felony) and two charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill (third-degree felony). He also was charged with property damage of less than $200, a second-degree misdemeanor. Florida Gators staff announced his suspension on Twitter, and coach Jim McElwain addressed it on the Southeastern Conference coaches call. “He’s no longer with the football team,” McElwain said. “He’s suspended indefinitely for obviously a choice. It’s his choice not to be with us. I’m sure you’ll read about it soon enough. It’s one of those things that we don’t obviously condone. Black Engineers Makinde Adeagbo Creates Non-Profit To Help Blacks In Tech How important are Black people in STEM careers ? Makinde Adeagbo knows how isolating it can be to live and work in Silicon Valley as Black man . The techie says it’s even more isolating to be a software engineer in the sea of white faces… Via Good Black News : Adeagbo, who is an engineer at the San Francisco company Pinterest, says he can go weeks without spotting another black engineer in America’s tech hub. “It’s not only that you are the only black person in the room or in the company, often times you are the only black person you see in Palo Alto or Menlo Park,” says Adeagbo, 30. About 1% of engineers at Facebook and Google are African American. The population of Palo Alto, Calif. is 2% African American, Menlo Park, Calif., is under 5%. Adeagbo says he hit on the idea while volunteering as a mentor to a couple of computer science students. “These students knew they had someone who had their backs, whom they could look up to and reach out to when they needed help. I thought to myself: Every black software engineer could accomplish a lot if they had someone like this,” says Adeagbo. . The name /dev/color is a reference to a common directory on computer systems “as well as our efforts to strengthen the community of Black software engineers, engineers of color,” he says. Adeagbo’s /dev/color is joining Black Girls Code, Code 2040 and the Hidden Genius Project, a new and growing wave of enterprising organizations founded by African Americans aimed at addressing the scarcity of African Americans in the tech industry. “Other black software engineers need to provide this for the black engineers coming behind them,” says Adeagbo, who is splitting his time between /dev/color and Pinterest. “We all need to work together to pull ourselves up and make sure we are accomplishing all that we can.” #BlackSTEMLivesMatter

A woman wrote to me tonight and said she couldn’t support my book because of the words of my daughter. What she fails to realize is that my book is about teaching your child to believe and achieve. I certainly don’t agree with what she said….but she is damn near thirty years old. She’s a grown a** woman making grown a** mistakes. We all have been guilty of this. Aside from this inexcusable gaffe, her 29 years in the entertainment industry has been quite successful, for there have been only an Elite Few Child Stars to last this long and have little to no controversy. Nene Leakes Says She’s Happier Since Leaving RHOA Former RHOA star Nene Leakes recently opened up about her reality TV past and says she feels much ‘happier’ since departying from the Bravo series. Leakes said this to CBS News : I feel like I’m happier. When you work in a lot of negativity, it becomes a part of who you are and I feel like I’m getting back to me, myself and I. It’s happy and free. It’s been a refreshing time away from the girls. I’ve done [the show] every season for eight years so I really needed to have a break. I’m not saying I would never ever go back, but it was good to step away. I’m a part of the Bravo family. I love Bravo, they love me — I have a great relationship with Andy Cohen. Everybody over there loves me. We all have a good relationship. I started the show and I’d go back whenever I felt like going back. I just don’t ever want to say never. When was the breaking point ? The whole time I was doing season 7, I was just dying. I was like, “Oh my God. I can’t take it anymore.” To me, when I really, really was like “This is it” was when I walked into scenes and the girls would just focus on me as if they wanted to argue with me. One parent who doesn’t give a damn is a Paul Henson, a Virginia dad who adhered to his three-year-old son’s Princess Elsa costume request and then posted the final result on Facebook. Per Us Weekly : In the adorable snapshot, young Caiden makes a face at his dad, Paul, while wearing a blue Frozen-inspired ball gown and tiny green sneakers. (Paul can be seen snapping the photo with his phone through the reflection in a mirror behind Caiden.) “Anyone that knows us, knows we generally let Caiden make his own choices, to an extent,” Paul captioned the photo. “Well, he has decided on a Halloween costume. He wants to be Elsa. He also wants me to be Anna.
