Russell Wilson Founds Charity Clothing Line To Help Aid Inner-City Education Russell Wilson is butt of many a joke these days, from his “cornball brotha” personality to his refusal to smash Ciara’s supple cakes to smithereens, but one thing you can’t knock him for is his community service. The HuffingtonPost is reporting that Russell has started a clothing line that aims to helping kids learn. Gotta respect that, right? Be good. The words are easy to say, but harder to heed. So the 27-year-old NFL star, guided by his strong faith and devotion to inner-city communities, decided it was time to prove that he, too, was living by the motto. That’s where the Good Man Brand came in. With the coolly confident goal of inspiring an entire generation, Russell Wilson is teaming up his Good Man Brand with his Why Not You Foundation to launch something they hope will better lives. Using a business model similar to that of TOMS — a company known for its policy of “buy-one, give-one” — Good Man Brand opens its doors with the promise that for every item sold, it will share its profits with a charity of choice. The “Good Man Brand” is promising that $3 from every purchase will go to charity — and he’s committing now to assisting inner-city education, a cause personally selected by Wilson and his team for the tangible, immediate impact it can have on inner-city children all over the nation. There are no details as to where you’ll be able to purchase Russell’s clothes at this time, but if you happen to see it while you’re shopping for Jordan’s, pick up a shirt or something and help a child in need. Judge Calls Out Beyonce’s Dad For Being A Deadbeat To Daughter Koi, 5 Deadbeat dad Mathew Knowles tried to buy his baby mama’s silence with $225,000 after she told him she was pregnant with their now five-year-old daughter. That’s according to a Houston family court judge, who ripped Knowles for giving baby mama Taqoya Branscomb the $225,000 “hush money” payment to persuade her from hauling him into court for child support. “ Mr. Knowles knew of his paternity in September 2009 and clearly sought to avoid the establishment of a support obligation based primarily on the tolling agreement and the payment of monies pursuant to said agreement, which the court can only reasonably conclude was hush money,” Judge David D. Farr wrote as part of his ruling in Harris County District Court. Koi was born in 2010, while Knowles was still married to Beyonce’s mother, Tina. Branscomb sued Knowles in 2014 over the paternity of the little girl, and the pair had been duking it out in court ever since. In a ruling last month, the judge sided with Branscomb, ordering Knowles’ wages garnished to pay her $70,822 in back child support plus interest, along with $1,496 a month in regular child support. Knowles is also now responsible for the child’s health insurance as well as $50,000 in Branscomb’s attorney fees.

Mattel Features First Boy In Barbie Commercial For the first time ever, a major corporation has marketed their doll for both boys and girls. Even though the ad is more of a tongue-in-cheek throwback to the 90’s Barbie commercials, a lot of parents are noting that the little boy in the ad is a little too…um…whimsical for their taste, and calling it inappropriate and pushing some “gay agenda.” Others are noting that it plays into gay stereotypes, since the little boy was extra effeminate and used the word “fierce.” Meanwhile, we’re just wondering who is really giving their kids a $150 (reselling on Ebay for $400-$800) limited edition designer collector’s item Barbie to unbox and play with? What do you think?? YouTube
