Looks like the broken glass and bruises aren’t from fist fights and flying martini glasses this time… According to TMZ reports : “Basketball Wives” star Tami Roman just fell victim to the brutal Los Angeles streets — TMZ has learned a car she was traveling in just got banged up in a 3-car pileup! Sources close to Tami tell us — the reality star had just been picked up from the airport by a car service … when a driver slammed into the car BEHIND Tami’s car … causing a chain reaction collision. Tami was in the front car — which sustained massive rear-end damage. We’re told Tami was not injured in the crash — but she has since tweeted, “I have a major headache!” We sincerely hope that Tami is ok and she makes a speedy recovery from whatever injuries she might have. Besides, we need her to keep these “Basketball Wives” episodes interesting in the future!
There’s something about a black and white picture that just screams “class”. Maybe it’s the old-fashioned feel or the fact that there’s minimal photoshop and CGI booty meat implants, but every woman worth her salt should have a classy B&W photoshoot. Here are some of the best black and white photos of celebrities we’ve laid our eyes on.
After seeing Alicia “Bad Knees” Keys get her cottage cheese blasted last week we can’t say we blame BeyBey for going to great lengths to hide her “Flaws And All”. In a recent interview Bey revealed that she’s prone to blowing snot bubbles onstage, uses fans during her performances to help stop her from sweating up a storm and has some beat up feet… amongst other issues! The 29-year-old singer told ITV: “My nose runs a lot and when I’m singing I can’t blow it, so there have been occasions when I’ve ended up with a ‘bubble’ coming out my nose.” She went on: “Everyone thinks I have the fans (wind machines) because I’m being fashionable, but I work so hard on stage if I didn’t have them I’d be dripping.” The former Destiny’s Child singer also confessed to not liking parts of her body, saying: “If I could change one part it would be my feet. After all the years dancing they’re a little beat up. And I wear big earrings because I don’t like my ears.” She also admitted wearing four pairs of stockings to prevent “unflattering” pictures and “keep me secure on stage” in the interview for a show which is expected to be screened in December. Ewwww @ snot bubbles… But we’re sure her true stans wouldn’t mind being sweated and snotted on!
Good job ladies. We’re all proud of you regardless! Nobody likes to lose. It makes your cereal taste soggy and your bed feel lumpy. Depending on the circumstances and what’s at stake, losing can remain in your system like a parasite. There is no known cure, other than to go out and win the next time around. But I have to issue the U.S. women’s soccer team a special waiver, to be used just this once. It’s not because losing is acceptable. It’s just that, considering everything, it’s not as stomach-churning as it could have been. The U.S. women deserve a few gentle noogies today for squandering a raft of opportunities in their World Cup final Sunday against Japan. In another sporting context, you might be tempted to give them even more of a scolding. In the first half alone, they probably could have been ahead, 5-0, or so, if shots had gone a foot or two this way or that. They had leads of 1-0, and 2-1 in this 2011 final, and each time allowed a determined team of Japanese women to tie the game. After extra time, it came down to penalty kicks, like it did in 1999. There likely were lots of sports bras on the field Sunday in Frankfurt, but none were bared for the U.S. in a moment of sports exultation and marketing bliss. The U.S. women failed to come through. They lost. Here are the three provisos from the aforementioned waiver that apply: They played hard and they played well; they just didn’t capitalize on several chances, and they couldn’t fend off Japan. They lost to Japan, a nation reeling from the devastation of an earthquake, tsunami and a nuclear disaster. The crushing disappointment that ordinarily accompanies such a defeat is diluted somewhat by the satisfaction that Americans — and the rest of the world, for that matter — feel toward Japan’s spirit-lifting triumph. And, it was an exciting game full of plot twists that kept onlookers riveted. It was definitely an exciting game and although we didn’t get a win, the level of competition and spirit seemed to invigorate American’s interest in the sport. Holy paranormal orgasms Batman! During an interview with the New York Times Boardwalk Empire actress Paz De La Huerta shared an eye-brow raising story about her visit to Graceland… You said once that Elvis’s ghost gave you an orgasm in his recording studio at Graceland. That’s unbelievable. I was with my ex-boyfriend and had to beg him to go to Graceland. I felt like he was jealous of Elvis because I’ve always been infatuated by him, which is hysterical because he’s passed away. Your ex-boyfriend, the singer Scott Weiland? Yeah. So I went to his recording studio because sometimes the sensitive people feel him in this room, and I stood in this corner and I felt him. What can I say? I felt him touch me. When you say he touched you, you mean in a Hitachi Magic Wand kind of way? I mean, come on, he’s a ghost. I felt his spirit go through me and give me pleasure. I experienced that when my cat died. She waited until I got home from Sundance, and she passed away the second she was in my arms, and I felt her spirit go through my body. But this was different. It was like Elvis was tickling me with a feather. This broad is so dizzy. Wonder how many she had before she did this interview? SMH Source
Good news ladies — a recent sex study of long-term relationships found that men who get lots of cuddle action and affectionate touching are happier! Time to get your spoon on! But here’s the irony, while the men in the study valued cuddling, the women put more value on their sexual satisfaction! Researchers from the Kinsey Institute in Bloomington, Ind. surveyed 1,009 heterosexual middle-aged and older couples in long-term relationships from five different countries, and found some surprising results, reports TIME. Men who reported frequently kissing or cuddling with their partners were on average three times as happy with their relationships as men who reported limited interaction. Perhaps more surprising, the study found it was sexual satisfaction that was more important to women in long-term relationships. And it also found that for women, sex got better over time — they reported significantly more sexual satisfaction after being with their partner for 15 years. “This study makes it clear our assumptions aren’t always borne out by research,” Jennifer Bass, director of communications at The Kinsey Institute told ABC News. Psychologists who were not involved in the research were intrigued by the study’s findings that men need touch and affection to be happy in relationships. Aline Zoldbrod, a psychologist in Lexington, Mass., told ABC News that touch in general is very important and, “touch from a person you love and trust is a major emotional resource and a way that people can regulate their emotions when they are upset. Couples who use touch to comfort, to compliment, and yes, to seduce and arouse, are bound to be happier.” In a press release, the study’s lead author and Director of the Kinsey Institute for Research In Sex, Gender and Reproduction, Julia Heinman noted that while we constantly hear about studies on divorce, research on lasting relationships is also important. We already know from other research that being happy in a long-term relationship has some health benefit. “Perhaps we can learn more about what makes relationships both sustainable and happy,” she said. Women in long-term relationships may become more satisfied over time because expectations change once the children are grown, said Heinman. And “those who weren’t so happy sexually might not be married so long.” The study also found that both Japanese men and women were significantly happier in their relationships than Americans, but Brazilians and the Spanish were less happy than American couples. This makes sense considering that, according to Heinman, while more than 50 percent of couples in the U.S. don’t stay in their first marriage, that number increases to about 90 percent in Spain. This study is important, co-author Michael Sand, a clinical sexologist at Boehringer-Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, told MSNBC, because it shows that people can be in long-term relationships and still enjoy “healthy, vibrant sexuality.” This is promising news… Now go love up on your boos y’all! We wonder if Chrissy’s wife knows that she is in a same-sex marriage? Miami Heat star Chris Bosh and his fiancée, Adrienne Williams, will take a romantic honeymoon in Europe, hitting St. Tropez and various glam locations in Italy after their wedding later this week. The couple, who will wed in Miami, will jet-set on a lavish Mediterranean tour. Sources tell us their close friend, designer Domenico Vacca, has agreed to show them the sights on part of the trip. One source tells us the honeymoon includes “chic parties in St. Tropez, romantic dinners in Capri, sunbathing in Positano, sightseeing in Rome and Naples and yachting in Sardinia and Capri.” The big wedding bash is expected to be attended by a host of stars including Bosh’s Miami teammates and team staff, who have all been given permission to attend. But a rep for Bosh said, “Nothing has been decided as yet.” “Given permission”?? Damn, that doesn’t seem like team camaraderie to us, what ever happened to inviting your boys? Sounds like they asked if it was ok to attend and Chrissy said “I’ll think about it”…SMH Source
