As it turns out, the dismissive quip was much more than a flashy ni**a braggin’ on a song. Turns out he was right. The shield needs Hov. According to Bleacher Report via NYTimes , Jay-Z will be forming a partnership with the NFL to create a social justice initiative and bring a much need boost the sleepy Super Bowl halftime show. Here’s what NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell had to say about the new allegiance: “We don’t want people to come in and necessarily agree with us; we want people to come in and tell us what we can do better,” Goodell said. “I think that’s a core element of our relationship between the two organizations, and with Jay and I personally.” The Roc Nation jefe grande also spoke on his new business venture: “The NFL has a great big platform, and it has to be all-inclusive,” Jay-Z said, per Belson and Sisario. “They were willing to do some things, to make some changes, that we can do some good.” What do you think of Jay’s involvement with the league? The IRS accused the “No More Drama” singer of owing it big time for back federal taxes – to the tune of more than $1 million, BOSSIP has learned. Blige’s tax lien, filed late last month, accuses the newly single Blige of owing a total of $1,198,161. The feds said MJB failed to pay taxes on income from 2016 and 2017, according to the lien, which was obtained by BOSSIP. Despite being one of the biggest selling and best-loved hip hop soul artists of her generation, Blige has struggled with financial issues over the years. Blige still has outstanding federal tax liens totaling millions from when she was still married to her nex husband and former manager Kendu Isaacs. Blige’s new lien suggests that despite her split from Isaacs, she is still experiencing trouble handling her tax bills. We exclusively revealed that Blige narrowly escaped foreclosure on two New Jersey mansions, but is still on the hook for a suit accusing her of skipping out on about $60,000 in back rent on a luxe Southern California estate. Blige had not responded to the lien as of Aug. 12.

According to THR , Prince Akeem’s love interest in the OG flick has now signed on to return for the sequel! Shari Headley will be reprising her role as the beautiful Lisa McDowell. There’s no word on exactly how she will be incorporated into the storyline, but as long as she’s in the building we are HERE for it! Coming 2 America is currently set for a December 18, 2020 release, but prior to that you can see Shari in a comedy series called On Becoming a God in Central Florida starring Kirsten Dunst. Meanwhile, The Hills: New Beginnings star Brody Jenner also split from his wife Kaitlynn Carter after a year of tying the knot, according to PEOPLE . Now the juicy part is, Miley and Kaitlynn recently took a little boat trip with some friends near Lake Como in Italy, and photos caught the pair sneaking some kisses . It’s possible these weren’t some buddy-buddy pecks either, considering Miley has said before that she’s “very sexually attracted to women.” Photos on Kaitlynn’s Instagram definitely show that the two are pretty tight. According to reports, correctional officers at the New York City prison that was housing the financier and convicted sex offender didn’t check in on him for hours leading up to his apparent suicide on Saturday. Making things even more confusing, this also came after his cellmate was transferred for reasons that were not immediately made clear. The 66-year-old was found unconscious in his cell at the Metropolitan Correctional Center, and later pronounced dead. Following reports from weeks before that the billionaire was on suicide watch, people immediately began asking questions about how Epstein could have been able to kill himself while in such a high-security facility. Then, it was reported that f or “several hours” leading up to his death, correctional officers hadn’t checked in with Epstein at all — despite being required to visit him every 30 minutes, according to The Washington Post . Epstein was placed on suicide watch in July and was been given psychiatric evaluations after he was found with bruising on his neck, but was taken off suicide watch by the end of the month. New York City’s chief medical examiner, Barbara Sampson, said on Sunday that an autopsy was performed but more information was needed before a cause of death could be determined. Among those skeptical about the financier’s apparent suicide are *surprise surprise* Donald Trump. The Cheeto-In-Chief retweeted a conspiracy theory on Saturday, alleging (without any evidence, of course) that former President Bill Clinton was somehow connected to the death of the accused sex trafficker.
