The veteran rapper allegedly has another mouth to feed, and the mother of that child used to be on his management team. According to The Blast , a woman by the name of Kate Gammel is claiming that Flav knocked her up over the summer and he’s the father of her 2-month-old baby boy. A paternity case has been filed in LA County Courts naming Flav as the father and the mom just wants him to pay up! The mother who filed it knows Flav pretty well since she was working for him for a number of years but recently he’s been MIA. Gammell worked with Flavor Flav on the management of several parts of his career, including his merchandise store and appearances. Source: Westend61 / Getty Black High School Student Exposes White Peers Racist Online Group Chat 14-year-old Cenayia Edwards is a freshman at East Wake High School in Wendell, N.C. and she is not here for white people ‘s clandestine bigotry. According to ABC11 , Cenayia actually posed as a white student in order to gain access to a violently racist group chat that her peers were participating in online. One of the freshman’s white friends put her on to the chat and Cenayia quickly devised a plan to expose all of them for their cowardly and dangerous behavior. When 14-year old Cannaya found out about the racist group chat some of her Wake County classmates were using, she infiltrated it, then she exposed it. When she was allowed access to the group chat, she says she was horrified. The chat was full of messages like “Pullin triggers and shootin n——,”and “Kill n—– babies.” One person wrote, “#bring slavery back.” Another person debated whether their screen name should be “Black slayer.” And when Cenayia called out her classmates for the racist talk, one person replied with a cartoon meme of a penguin with a gun along with the words, “Shut up n—–.” The parents notified the school of the activity but thus far they are very unsatisfied with the “investigation” that has taken place. So far, very little, if any, consequences have been doled out and if there have been, the school will not say what those consequences are. The last time he was on the field, he was playing quarterback for the 49ers, before his kneeling activism lead to him being blackballed by the NFL. Yesterday, Kap’s agent Jeff Nalley released a fact-checker in an effort to clear up any the of rumors or misleading information people have about the activist. In the letter, he points out that during his last season on the field, the 49ers landed 4th in dropped passes with 29th in pass-blocking efficiency, all while having the worst-ranked defense in the entire NFL. This letter seems to be another attempt for his agent to blast NFL teams on record, as TMZ reports Nalley has reached out to every NFL team and reportedly gotten little-to-no response. “Not a single team has offered Colin a job since the 2016 season, in which he began his peaceful protest. Not a single team has brought Colin in for a workout. Seattle brought Colin in for a visit but did not work him out. Afterward, Pete Carroll said Colin is a ‘starter in this league’. No other NFL team has interviewed or worked out Colin in the past 3 seasons, despite other false statements in the media to the contrary.” One of the rumors Nalley addressed in this letter were those circulating that Colin was demanding a specific salary, along with the longstanding rumor that he doesn’t even want to play again. His team made sure to make it clear that those allegations specifically are “completely false” and the notion Colin doesn’t want to play is just plain wrong. In fact, he says Colin has been working out 5 days a week for over three years now, and at this point, he’s just hoping to play again. He also goes on to address why Colin opted out of his 49er deal in the first place, if he’s even eligible to play again, and more. Nalley closes the letter out in a college essay fashion, pretty much laying out how he doesn’t understand the issue. “In summary, it is difficult to think of another young player in NFL history with statistics and character as impressive as Colin’s not being given an opportunity to earn a spot on an NFL roster after what he has accomplished.” At this point, it may be time to try a different approach, or for Colin, a different agent. No matter how pissed off people may be about his kneeling or his NFL settlement check, any agent with respect on their name would get a callback and a conversation, even if it’s not what they want to hear. Something has got to give because these same old tricks from 2016 clearly aren’t getting the job done and there are more than enough quarterback positions open for someone of Kaepernick’s caliber. The kicker here is that this insane amount is only for two albums upon his release. This deal is sure to further conspiracy theories that he was an informant all along. Earlier this week, we reported that prosecutors requested 6ix9ine’s sentencing be moved up from 2020, and the request was swiftly approved. If he wasn’t going to be released, why would the court move up his sentencing? Last month, Tekashi and his team also issued a press release explaining that he WOULDN’T be accepting witness protection, either. So it really looks like whatever crazy plan he had seems to be working out. As for now, he is definitely one of the wealthiest people behind bars. On Tuesday, the multinational corporation was ordered to pay 8 billion dollars in punitive damages after a man reportedly developed female breast tissue from taking one of their antipsychotic drugs. A Philadelphia jury awarded 26-year old Nicholas Murray after his lawyer argued that J&J put “profits over patients” in marketing the drug Risperdal. The Guardian reports: “Johnson & Johnson immediately denounced the award after the jury’s decision in the court of common pleas, saying it was “excessive and unfounded” and vowing immediate action to overturn it.” Johnson & Johnson said in a statement on its website it was confident that the award would be overturned, calling it “grossly disproportionate” with the initial compensatory damage award and “a clear violation of due process”. This isn’t the first time this year that J&J had to pay up. You may recall that back in August, Johnson & Johnson was ordered to pay $572m after a judge in Oklahoma ruled that the company contributed to an opioid epidemic in the state by running a “false and dangerous” sales campaign
A LOT of positivity… Steven Reed Becomes Montgomery’s First Black Mayor A brotha just made history in Alabama in a major way! Steven Reed, a Probate Judge, is Montgomery, Alabama’s first Black Mayor. Reed is replacing current Mayor Todd Strange and won with 67 percent of the votes. He will be sworn into office on Nov. 12. “If there was any doubt about what we can do when we come together, when we unify this city, let the record show tonight, above all, show what we can do when we come together in this city and we build around positivity, around opportunity and all the things that tie us together,” said Reed about his victory according to WSFA. When asked why he thought his campaign resonated with voters, Reed said it was the vision for a united Montgomery. “I think our vision for a better Montgomery. Our vision for a united Montgomery, and our vision to create better opportunities for everyone and I believe our concise vision that was very consistent from the day one is something a lot of people listened to,” Reed said. “I believe people really were attracted to that. They really were interested in some of our ideas and that energy and that enthusiasm that we felt so many days in the community is going to churches, going to community centers, going to neighborhood programs, we felt the energy there and we felt that energy in some unlikely corners for some. So we knew the message was resonating, and we knew that somewhere along the line, we knew that we were making a difference and that we were connecting, and I think that’s why we had the results that we had tonight.” Reed’s win marks the first time in Montgomery’s 200 years that a black Mayor has been elected. The reality actress and rapper-podcaster have been making headlines for months over their separation and now Cyn is hinting that there’s no chance she’s going back to that distressing relationship. Cyn Santana also confirms in an interview with Tiffany Pollard that it was she who pulled the plug on their relationship. “ We didn’t decide on anything. I did what was best for my mental health, for my peace, and for me and my son. Basically, let’s just sat that I’m probably the happiest that I’ve ever been. And that was probably the best decision I’ve made in my entire life in the 26-years I’ve been living on this earth . The best decision I made was leaving that relationship. And my son and I are amazing.” It sounds like Joe Budden was being a THORN in her side and she couldn’t take it. Previously, Budden showed a lack of empathy on “Love and Hip Hop” as Cyn Santana experienced postpartum depression . Cyn removed herself from the turmoil and now she’s easing into dating.
