Some people dream of covering People magazine their whole lives. Drew Barrymore’s daughter Frankie accomplished that goal before she even learned to roll over. Barrymore gave birth to her second child back in April and posed for a photo shoot with People when little Frankie was just 2 1/2 weeks old. Inside the issue, Drew opens up about her recovery process after giving birth. She says that with two kids under two in the house, a slow healing process was a luxury she just couldn’t afford. “I knew that I have two kids to take care of now and just kicked my own butt to get back into the swing of things,” says Drew. Barrymore and Will Kopelman married in 2012, and the actress gave birth to daughter Olive shortly thereafter. The actress has since spoken openly about her views on family and motherhood, and Barrymore’s claim that women cannot have it all with regard to career and family landed her in hot water with feminist critics last year. Asked about the most difficult part of raising two very young children at the same time, Drew told People that she struggles with her daughters’ differing schedules. “They’re awake and asleep at different times,” says the actress. “Or awake at the same time, and it’s a juggling act a little bit.” Somehow, Drew found time to shoot the film Blended with Adam Sandler, which hits theaters May 23. My name is Frankie and the fact that I’m sitting down to write My Bieber Experience… the fact that I have one, is absolutely surreal. I guess my journey started back when tickets went on sale for the My World Tour. At the time, I couldn’t afford even the nose bleed seats and was completely crushed that I wasn’t going to be able to see Justin in concert. But a few days before the Cleveland show, my dad told me that he might be able to get us some meet and greet passes and tickets through a guy he knew. I was so excited until the deal fell through. For the longest time I just never believed that I’d get to see Justin perform especially when the Believe Tour didn’t make any stops near Ohio during its first leg. Well once I saw that he was coming back to Cleveland on July 13, I waited 9 anxiety ridden days to do pre-sale and by the grace of God, pulled up the VIP Meet & Greet Experience seats on the first try! After I bought them, I just stared at my computer screen and cried for a bit trying to comprehend what was going to happen. Not only was I going to see Justin 5th row in concert, but I was going to meet him! It’s still insane to think about. Flash forward 206 days later and I was literally up at 3 AM the day of the show. I was so excited, I couldn’t sleep. I got to the venue around 4 PM and became friends with some amazing girls who I spent the majority of the evening with. We all sat together at the pre-show party just eating and gossiping about Justin. Then our VIP host Ryan came out and began to tell us some of the rules for the meet and greet and explained that he was finally able to convince the staff to let us all take individuals photos with Justin. I instantly started hyperventilating at the table unable to wrap my mind around the fact that I didn’t have to share my time with him. It would be just me and Justin. Justin was running super behind schedule so once we made it down to the meet and greet area we ended up waiting there for an hour or so and we all started singing One Time, Baby, and Boyfriend. A few minutes later Justin pulls back the curtain, rides up on his segway and screams, “Stop that!” then disappears with that little smirk on his face. Oh my God, it was soooo cute! The meet and greet itself was so short and quick but seriously some of the most amazing seconds of my life. I walked inside and just starred at him for a moment. He seriously looks like a doll. I don’t think pictures do him justice. He’s just so attractive and flawless. Ugh. Perfection in its finest form. We exchanged hello’s and took our photo. There are no words to describe how incredible it feels to be in Justin’s arms. It was honestly like the world stopped. No matter how many times I stare at our photo together, I don’t think it’ll ever sink in completely. The show itself was absolutely mind blowingly phenomenal. My friend and I originally had 5th row seats but the father of one of our new friends graciously gave us his two extra front row seats just as the 10 minute countdown started. Even though I was in a sold out arena full of screaming people, being that close felt so intimate and so special. I got sprayed by foam that shot from the blasters, felt heat from the flames, and even almost burned my eye when sparks fell from the ceiling. Again, it was perfect and magical and I still cannot believe that it all actually happened. I have been a Belieber since the very beginning and if Justin has taught me anything, it truly is to believe in yourself. Believe in your dreams and never say never. Don’t let anyone tell you you can’t do something or that you can’t get what you want, because you can! Thank you Justin for the most magical night of my life. I love you so much and can’t wait to see you again real soon. Go here to see the original: My name is Frankie and the fact that I’m sitting down to…
Josie Canseco in Miami. That#39;s Jose Canseco#39;s daughter Josie Canseco in Miami yesterday. You can probably already tell by the fact that she#39;s holding a teddy bear, but she#39;s just a smidgen underage (16). But these pics totally aren#39;t creepy because she#39;s a legit bikini model and is in town to promote Frankie#39;s Bikinis. And Frankie#39;s Bikinis totally sounds like a legit company and not one started last week by a dude in his mom#39;s basement . *nervous laughter*
Bill O’Reilly ripped both Chris Matthews and MSNBC on Thursday after Matthews dubiously remarked that Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) has a “black Irish look.” Matthews used the term, which refers to Irish people with dark features, while railing against Cruz … and Pat Buchanan, Joseph McCarthy and O’Reilly. He said they all look alike. O’Reilly was not happy. Bill O’Reilly Slams Chris Matthews “In addition to being misguided politically, Mr. Matthews also apparently needs glasses, badly,” O’Reilly said, calling it a “desperate attempt to get attention.” The reason, O’Reilly said, is MSNBC’s ratings. “In the last six months, it’s all fallen apart for MSNBC,” he alleged. “They’re in a desperate situation right now.” O’Reilly said that the network was previously a “campaign headquarters for the president,” but “that’s vanishing now” due to Obama administration scandals . Revelations about NSA surveillance programs , DOJ investigations of journalists and IRS’ targeting of conservative groups have roiled the White House. MSNBC is “covering anything other than that, because they don’t know what to say,” O’Reilly claimed on Thursday, with no small measure of glee. MSNBC delivered woeful ratings in May, landing in fourth place behind Fox News, CNN and HLN, which saw a spike from the Jodi Arias murder trial. The network saw its lowest primetime numbers since 2009.
Former baseball star turned millionaire investor turned white-collar criminal Lenny Dykstra is reportedly being released from a California prison Sunday. He will walk just 15 months into his three-year term. Dykstra was nailed for grand theft auto and 23 counts of filing false financial reports in 2011. He was also charged with soliciting sex on Craigslist . He pleaded no contest and was imprisoned. “Nails,” who played 12 seasons with the Mets and Phillies before retiring in 1996 at age 33, has attended a drug and alcohol rehabilitation program. Christopher Frankie, who wrote “Nailed: The Improbable Rise and Spectacular Fall of Lenny Dykstra,” was surprised with the decision to let him out early. Why? “Because he blatantly disobeyed the court, and a lot of the stuff was very brazen. He was doing it in the full view of law enforcement,” he wrote. Nevertheless, he’s wishing him well: “I hope, for his sake, his family’s sake, and the public’s sake, that he doesn’t return to his criminal past,” Frankie said. “I think people in this country love a comeback story, so he certainly has that opportunity,” he added. “But I’m not convinced that’s the path he’s going to take.” Here’s hoping it somehow is his chosen path … but we don’t recommend taking any stock tips or investing in any car washes with the guy going forward. The more you know.
Where’s the beef? You may remember about two years ago Keyshia released a statement revealing that she’d had to kind of take a break from her family members, specifically her Mom Frankie and sisters Elite and Neffe . In recent interviews while promoting her upcoming “Family First” reality show along with hubby Daniel Gibson, Keyshia says she’s mended fences with her mom, who is making a go at sobriety, but that while Frankie will appear on some episodes of her new show — Neffe, won’t be on the program because they’re still not on the best of terms. We spoke to Neffe exclusively about how reality tv helped hurt her relationship with her sister, what life has been like since her BET show ended and why she decided to take a break from Reality TV for two years.
