Outside of that, Jada has always been rumored to be a full-blown les-be-honest prior to marrying her Fresh Prince and starting a family of misfits. Earlier this week, Jada took to Facebook to ponder why the breakdown in male-female relationships has caused several of her friends to decide to date women as a last resort to finding a fulfilling love life. Says Mrs. Smith: Before I begin…I want to make one thing clear. It’s important that you know that I believe love comes in ALL forms. I believe a person should love WHOMEVER…HOWEVER they choose. But…I do have a question. In the last month, three women, in their 40s, coming out of long term relationships with men have confided in me that they now feel that their last resort for companionship is that with a woman. These are women who have never engaged in or even desired to be in intimate relationships with other women. Now these women feel as though they have no other option. It seems as if there is a spike in same sex love all around. What is changing in which how men and women are relating to one another, that is creating same sex love as a LAST RESORT for heterosexual women? You…tell…me. Another day, another skanky teacher popped for inappropriate sexual relationship with teenage boys… Via KHOU: A Santa Fe High School teacher has been charged with three felonies following allegations that she sexually assaulted a teenage student. Jaimie Dominy Page, 25, was arrested Thursday and charged with sexual abuse of a child; having an improper relationship between an educator and a student; and online solicitation of a minor. Page was booked into the Galveston County Jail on bonds totaling $50,000, authorities said. She posted bond and was released Thursday afternoon, authorities said. Adam Poole, an assistant district attorney with the Galveston County District Attorney’s Office, said all three charges relate to Page’s relationship with a male student. Authorities allege Page sent an explicit photograph to the student, who is not being identified because of his age, and had a sexual relationship with him. Poole said there was an investigation into whether other students had been involved. He said the investigation began after Page was put on administrative leave by the school district in February. According to jail records, Page was arrested at 2:10 p.m. during a traffic stop on FM 646 near the intersection with I-45. Page was placed on administrative leave by the Santa Fe Independent School District on Feb. 20 after the school began an investigation into the abuse allegations. According to a statement released by district Wednesday night, Page resigned from the district during the course of an investigation into the allegations. The iPimps and the eHoes are increasing at a rapid rate among our children Study Shows Sexting Highest Among African-American And Hispanic Teens Via NBCNews More than 20 percent of black and Hispanic teens say they have used their cellphones to send a “sext” message showing a nekkid or semi-nekkid photo or video of themselves to another person, and more than 30 percent say they have received such sex messages, according to a new study. The research was done by University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, and funded by the Centers for Disease Control and the U.S. Department of Health Services. Why the focus on the two groups? “Although sex messages among U.S. youth has received much popular media attention, there are only limited data on its prevalence among ethnic minority youth,” say the researchers in their study, published online journal, Cyberpsychology, Behavior and Social Networking. The concern about sex messages, the researchers say, is whether it “impacts other behaviors and health outcomes among youth and adults and, if so, what is the direction of the impact.” That said, not every scientist is convinced that sexting will lead to ho-ish tendencies. Balderdash, says Deb Levine, the executive director and founder of the Internet Sexuality Information Services, based in San Francisco, which uses the Internet and mobile apps and texts to share information about sexual health, disease prevention and assault. “From a public health perspective, we have not as yet identified ‘sex messaging’ as a risky sexual behavior as regards HIV, STDs and unplanned pregnancies,” Levine told NBC News. “Therefore, the need to identify young people who sex message seems unnecessary.” In a recent editorial piece, “Sex!ng: A Terrifying Health Risk … or the New Normal for Young Adults?” for the Journal of Adolescent Health, Levine wrote that “If we are to use sex messaging to create relevant health messaging for youth, the messages could focus less on shame and more on mutual consent, communication about sexual desires, and regular testing for HIV and other STDs, especially for sexually active members of high-risk groups.” One thing that is not in question however, is which demographic of people are more likely to be prone to having a lil freaky phone fun. “The results of this study indicate that sex messaging is prevalent among ethnic minority youth,” the researchers said in the study. “ And while the authors acknowledge that more research is needed to understand the context and circumstances of that sex messaging, “the first step in any public health inquiry is to understand the scope and prevalence of a potential health problem. Some data exist on the prevalence of sex messaging among youth in general. However, prevalence data for ethnic minority youth specifically are scarce.” The researchers’ data is based on findings from 1,034 tenth-graders from a “large, urban school district in southeast Texas.” In this new age of technology it’s not only important to talk to your kids about sex, but also “digital sexual activity”. Online sex sites, social networking apps, and unlimited use of smartphones all give young children the ability to do some freaky finger fawking. What were people expecting, Rihanna’s line to be classy? While some of the British press was fawning over RihRih and comparing her to Princess Diana it seems that not everyone is a fan of her new River Island line, which made it’s debut in London over the weekend. You’ve gotta read how Daily Beast writer Tom Sykes trashed her show: There were few who anticipated a fashion triumph, but, even allowing for the limited expectations, Rihanna’s collection for River Island as brought forth in London tonight was a horror show. The clothes were hideous and without an ounce of panache or style between them. True, there were some consolations. For example, if you really, really like belly buttons, if you are totally nuts for navels, then this could be the collection for you. If you only feel capable of wearing clothes on the lower half of your body if they are slashed up to your waist, then again, you are in luck. Similarly, if you were a guy hoping for a one night stand and a girl started chatting to you in a bar wearing anything from the Rihanna for River Island collection, you could feel fair confident you’d be getting lucky. The only lingering uncertainty in your mind would be whether or not she would take a credit card. Even before Rihanna unveiled her unsurprisingly slutty and yet tiresomely predictable collection for River Island at London Fashion Week tonight, there were many who said that it was a mistake to allow the world’s most famous pop star of the moment to hijack an event which is supposed to be about celebrating creativity, passion and original thinking in fashion (as opposed to lazily co-opting celebrity endorsement to shift mediocre, mass-market product, which is what McDonalds is for). Wow… That’s harsh. But Sykes also fairly questioned Rihanna’s credentials: Rihanna’s a fantastic singer with a talent for publicity, but has she ever drawn a line of chalk on a piece of cloth? Graded a pattern? Spent a year or four at St Martin’s? But the bashing didn’t end there: Rihanna claimed in a pre-show promotional video that her collection was “casual”, “chic” and “flirty”. In the event it was like Fright Night in Kmart. But doubtless this hardly matters to Ri-Ri. She flew in today, she’ll probably be on the first flight back tomorrow, dismissing the haters like me, her million dollar cheque safely cashed, her part of the contract fulfilled. No doubt the River Island collection will sell furiously to Rihanna’s fans, who will be delighted with the new, porny additions to their wardrobes. Maybe – brace, brace – she’ll even be back for a second season. Yikes… Does this make you want to run out and buy the line or what?
