What The Hell??? Innocent Business Owner And Attempted Rapist Have The Same Name, Age, Marital Status, And Are From The Same Town!!

Wow…this is actually pretty f*cked up, no jokes here. Robert L. Viggiano, 47, is a happily married man with two kids and a successful plumbing business in Cold Spring, a quaint village of 2,000 in upstate Putnam County. Robert S. Viggiano, 47, is a married father of two, who owns a contracting business in Cold Spring — and was busted this week on a lurid attempted-rape charge of trying to arrange sex with a 10-year-old girl. The unfortunate coincidence has turned Robert L.’s life into a living hell. “It’s been devastating,” Robert L. told The Post. “There were reporters knocking on our neighbors’ doors, asking if they knew that I had been soliciting sex from 10-year-old girls. When you hear it on the radio, everyone thinks it is me. My cousins called my aunts, who called my sisters. It’s been absolute hell.” Yonkers cops said the real suspect, from Fishkill in Dutchess County, showed up Tuesday with candy and $400 to meet with what he thought was a mom willing to sell her daughter for sex. But “Mom” turned out to be an undercover Yonkers cop posing as a depraved junkie willing to sell her little girl to a pervert, and Robert S. was busted. Being a small business owner that bears his name, Viggiano has had to do a lot to get his name clear of the heinous charges. Good Robert now has his work cut out for him to repair his unfairly tarnished reputation. “Some people don’t believe me. My friend says his mother-in-law said, ‘It must be him, they have the same name!’ and on paper, we are the same. Same age, married, two kids. What are the odds?” The publicity has hurt his business, he added. “I was on a job, and it comes over the radio, and people just stared at me,” he said. “I says: ‘But it’s not me! That guy’s in jail, and I’m here.’ “ The horrific nature of the allegations makes everything worse. Good luck sir, you probably haven’t seen the last of this strange coincidence. Source

“Dude, Can I Let Me Get A Do-Over?: Minor League Ball Club Asks Aguilera To Sing Anthem For Redemption

Maybe this time she’ll do a little practice or research or something… Christina Aguilera has been invited to sing a do-over. The Brooklyn Cyclones are offering the Staten Island native a chance to perform “The Star-Spangled Banner” before one of the minor league baseball team’s home games this summer. Aguilera botched one of the lines of the national anthem before Sunday’s Super Bowl in Arlington, Texas. The New York Mets’ Class A farm team extended the invitation Tuesday. Cyclones general manager Steve Cohen said in a statement that “when a player makes a mistake, they usually don’t get a shot at redemption, but with a singer, that’s a different story.” Regardless of how well she sings it the 2nd time, there’s no living down screwing up the anthem on the nations biggest stage. But if she likes it, we love it… Source

Director Says She’s Glad Rih Rih’s “S&M” Video Is Banned In 11 Countries

Immediately after Rihanna dropped her “S&M” video on Tuesday, people started talking about how controversial it was … like the song isn’t called “S&M”. By Wednesday, it had been banned in 11 countries and the U.K.’s BBC 1 Radio said listeners won’t hear the song before 7pm. Which, to the video’s director Melina Moustakas, means she and Rihanna did their job. “When I go out to make something, I kind of go out with the intention to get it banned — [well] not to get it banned, I always want my stuff played — but to make something provocative,” Matsoukas told MTV News. “So when you do something that’s provocative, that’s usually a repercussion. It’s gonna be talked about or banned or slandered in some way. But it’s making an effect and people are having a dialogue about it, so, to me, that’s successful.” For Matsoukas, it’s the video’s harshest critics who are the most amusing. “I mean, the song is called ‘S&M’!” she laughed. “So I think that the imagery follows suit with what the song is. I wouldn’t play down the imagery for a song that’s so strong. It makes sense to develop it further and really take it there. So if they don’t want to play it, [fans] can watch it somewhere else.” One of those places airing the video uncensored is MTV. Matsoukas, who previously directed Rihanna’s “Rude Boy” and “Rockstar 101″ clips and Beyoncé’s “Why Don’t You Love Me,” said it’s the first time MTV hasn’t requested changes to one of her videos. “I haven’t talked to Rihanna about the controversy,” Matsoukas said. “But she was happy that MTV had no changes, and she was definitely like, ‘See? We made it through!’ Because the whole time we were like, ‘If we use ball gags and we show this, are they gonna play it?’And we just went for it and didn’t care, and people seem to be embracing that.” Again, we applaud Rihanna for owning her “metaphorical” ho sh*t. “The Royal Families” aka The Camels Carters And The Smiths Partner To Form Film Company

That’s a LOT of money in that picture. Sweet black love in the building ya’ll… Will Smith, Jada Pinkett-Smith and their partners at Overbrook Entertainment have formed a joint-venture with Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter to develop and produce major motion pictures. First up? A remake of the Broadway musical “Annie,” in which Will and Jada’s daughter, Willow — who recently signed to Jay-Z’s Roc Nation label — will star in. Although the project is in its preliminary stages, it will be developed with Sony Pictures Entertainment and produced by Overbrook and Jay. The partnership between Will and Jada and Jay-Z began when the three decided to invest in the beauty line Carol’s Daughter. Their next venture together was when they joined forces again to co-produce the Broadway play “Fela!” Since then, Willow, who is managed by Overbrook’s Miguel Melendez, has signed to Roc Nation and released first single “Whip My Hair.” “The Overbrook Entertainment family and I have a unified vision. We’ve already produced a Tony Award-winning play and we’re developing a true superstar in Willow,” said Jay-Z in a statement. “This venture into film development and production is a perfect next step with teams that are accomplished, creative and innovative.” Is there ANYTHING that these couples can’t do?? It’s f*cking awesome to see black couples and their children building empires and achieving new levels of success and empowerment. Clap for ‘em. Source
