White Supremacy: Gun-Hoarding Coast Guard Officer Wanted A Race War, Internet Searches Include “Best Ni**er Killing Gun”

Source: MARK RALSTON / Getty Gun Stockpiling Coast Gaurd Officer Wanted Race War A white supremacist/ Coast Guard officer Christopher Hasson was indicted for stockpiling automatic weapons and drafting a kill list of notable political figures and journalists like Nancy Pelosi, Obama, and MSNBC’s Ari Melber according to TalkingPointsMemo . Hasson made a request to be released last week because prosecutors have not charged him with any terrorism-related crimes. Strangely, despite the obvious circumstances surrounding Hasson’s initial arrest, a judge gave him the chance to ask for his freedom if he was not charged with the crimes the prosecution laid out in the court filings. But prosecutors say that can’t happen, noting that a Maryland grand jury brought a four-count indictment charging Hasson with illegal possession of unregistered and unmarked silencers, illegal possession of 17 firearms by an addict of controlled substances, and possession of the opioid Tramadol. The new filing provides new details about what prosecutors allege Hasson planned to do with these materials. Based on the things Hasson has been searching on the internet, it’s pretty clear why prosecutors don’t want this guy walking the streets. Those searches, between summer 2017 and his February 2019 arrest, include “white homeland,” “when are whites going to wake up,” “please god let there be a race war,” and “best ni**er killing gun.” In addition to the “hit list” he maintained of prominent Democrats and journalists, Hasson searched for the home addresses of two Supreme Court justices “within minutes before and after searching firearm sales websites.” ALL that said… BREAKING: Federal judge agrees to release Coast Guard Lt. Christopher Hasson, who was accused of plotting terror attack by federal prosecutors. Judge says govt. has not charged him with terrorism and murder and doesn’t plan to, so no grounds to hold. — justin jouvenal (@jjouvenal) April 25, 2019 SMFH. That judge shouldn’t be allowed to sit on the bench anymore.

You know it’s a new age when rapper begin making cuts about their social media life (“Down In The DM” anyone?) but while most would rap about how glorious they are in their social media conquests, Casanova decided to go the opposite route and talk about getting curved… kinda. In his new visual for “Block Me” the Brooklyn rapper uses his big boy mansion as the backdrop for his story about a woman who got all in her emotions after scrolling through his IG page and eventually hit the “Block” button. Happens to the best of us, b. From the east to the west and present to the past, YG takes things back to the slavery days and makes a break for his freedom in his provocative clip for “Stop Snitchin.” Kinda surprised there wasn’t a rainbow haired snitchin’ ass villain in this joint. The gentleman who was also hit in the shooting has been given his freedom back. As reported by  Page Six Kerry Lathan has been released from a detention center in California on Saturday, April 20. The Los Angle native witnessed the assassination of the “Racks In The Middle” rapper on March 31 where he too took a bullet to his back. Upon his release from the hospital, he was promptly put into police custody. As a felon who served 25 years for murder being with a known gang member was in direct violation of his parole terms. Luckily the legal system was able to apply common sense to his situation. His lawyer Lauren Noriega claimed that the 56-year-old was at the scene by chance. “He wasn’t there to propose any business to Nipsey . He had no idea that Nipsey would be there” Noriega explained. Previous reports alleged Nipsey was meeting him to give him free clothes. Lathan suffered a stroke while in custody and still has the bullet lodged in his back. His representative said he started crying when was told he would be let go. — Photo: Getty

Beyoncé’s ‘Homecoming’ Is A Stunning Celebration Of Black Culture & Black Bodies

Read this article:

Source: Kevin Winter / Getty “To me, we are the most beautiful creatures in the world, Black people.”—Nina Simone.  When Beyoncé dropped “Formation” back in 2016 , I knew that something about her had changed. Or maybe it didn’t. Perhaps that “newly perceived” pro-Blackness had always been there, she just wasn’t “allowed” to show it to the world. There’s a moment in the new Netflix documentary ‘Homecoming’ that may reference that time, when she may have not felt free or empowered to speak her truth as an artist. “As a Black woman, I used to feel like the world wanted me to stay in my little box. And Black women often feel underestimated,” she says. Well, if anything is clear, it’s that Queen Bey is emancipated from the restraints that were once placed on her. Gone are the days of her being safe and appeasing her white fans, the same fans that could easily consume her R&B music in one breath and deny her Blackness in another. Because regardless of Coachella’s overwhelming whiteness and Bey being the first Black woman to headline the concert series, her Blackety Blackness and the aesthetic and power associated with HBCUs were front and center. And like everything she does at this stage of her career, that too was intentional. “Instead of me pulling out my flower crown. It was important that I brought our culture to Coachella,” Beyoncé stressed, adding, “Creating something that will live beyond me, that will make people feel open and like they’re watching magic.” See, on that stage, Beyoncé was home, reliving the old days when her young “country ass” would watch the “battle of the bands” and how she once yearned to graduate from an HBCU like her father. You know, before her other passions took her in a different direction. However now, at the age of 37, it feels as if she’s come back home to herself, all while paving a new path, crafting a different narrative and meaning. Not just in her music, but  in the world. I’d say that if “Formation” was the inciting incident and “Lemonade” was the rising action, #Beychella is the beautiful and unapologetic climax of this amazing story. And for those wondering why revisiting “Homecoming” is so necessary, the answer is simple. Beyoncé didn’t just do this for herself or for Blue. She did this for the culture. She did this for us. The two-hour and seventeen minute “Homecoming” digs deeper than what we giddily streamed on YouTube in the wee hours of the morning last year. It gives us behind the scene footage of the tireless work and intense planning that went into this cultural masterpiece. Who knew that one performance translated into eight grueling months of planning and rehearsals. Not to mention, all the precious time Bey took away from mothering, bonding and breastfeeding her baby twins, Rumi and Sir . But that was the sacrifice she was willing to make in order to give Black folks some much-needed joy. When you see just how persistent Bey was in “building things from the ground up,” we see how this joyful perfection was constructed. Not only did she handpick every dancer herself, she “picked every light, the fabric of the steps, the height of the pyramid, the shape of the pyramid,” reminding us that every “tiny detail had an intention.” No wonder she described herself as “super specific,” but you have to be when you have a vision this grand. While we see Bey be the creative beast we’ve always known her to be, we also get glimpses of her being a mere mortal like the rest of us. In one scene, which I’m glad didn’t get edited out; she’s expressing her frustration to a room of lot of men about how her notes for the show were not being applied, repeatedly. Remember: Bey may be a bawse and the one signing the checks, but she’s also a #BlackWomanAtWork, which can also mean being overlooked and ignored. In addition, throughout the film she speaks openly and freely about the toll her “unexpected” pregnancy took on her body and the journey it took for her to get to a place where she could perform, and perform to her expected incredibly high standard. “My body went through more than I knew it could. I was 218 pounds the day I gave birth,” she confides, adding, “I had an extremely difficult pregnancy. I had high blood pressure. I developed toxemia, preeclampsia.” Fearing for the life of one of her twins she had an emergency C-section, only months later finding herself on that soundstage, pushing herself further than she’d ever done. In one scene, we see her like we’ve never seen the seasoned performer before: Curled up on the floor, clutching at some spasming muscles in her belly, looking defeated. Yet, somehow, she dug deep and persisted. But the most transformative takeaways from “Homecoming” aren’t just Beyoncé’s physical journey, her incredible work ethic or her overall greatness. It’s that her show was a celebration of every last Black body on stage and every last Black body that consumed the performance. An act I would argue is overtly political, especially when you think about how often our bodies are overpolicied and scrutinized by the state and beyond. To be great, and see that greatness reflected in you and the institutions and the legacies you hold dear is powerful and affirming. Not to mention, liberating. “It was important for me that everyone that had never seen themselves represented felt like they were on that stage with us,” Bey explained. Adding, “Rejoice in the imperfections and the wrongs that are so damn right. I wanted everyone to feel thankful for their curves, their sass, their honesty – thankful for their freedom.” See, for her, the stage was this utopia, a space with “no rules,” where “none of us were marginalized.” A place where Black folks, our rich history and our divine excellence weren’t perceived as a threat or a problem. Instead, that glorious shine was welcomed with open arms. And that right there is what home is supposed to feel like, an unconditional love, a profound sense of safety and utter familiarity. And if it doesn’t feel that way, Beyoncé’s “Homecoming” reminds us that we have the agency and the will to create our own homes, wherever we damn well choose and in our own flawless Black image. Jeremy Vuolo: I Love Jinger Duggar But I Still Wanna Bang Other Chicks!

Recently, Jinger Duggar has been flaunting more Duggar rules than ever . She can do that — because she’s a Vuolo, now. In a new interview, Jinger and Jeremy sat down to speak openly and honestly about their marriage. Jeremy says that he tells Jinger every impure thought that crosses his mind so that his wife can help him fight “temptation.” Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo sat down with Jeremy and Audrey Roloff for their  Behind The Scenes  podcast. Jeremy and Jinger have, of course, been married since 2016. They met through Jessa and Ben Seewald, though Jinger at first worried that Jeremy wouldn’t be interested in her. “I knew Jeremy for some months before we started a relationship,” Jinger reminds listeners. “So,” Jinger reasons. “I knew he was an awesome, awesome guy.” Jinger says that it was on a mission trip when she noticed that Jeremy had the qualities that she had prayed to see in a spouse. To her delight, he ended up returning her interest. Jeremy shares his side, how he had also thought deeply about what sort of spouse he would one day hope to see. “I wrote down a list of what I wanted in a wife,” Jeremy reveals. He makes it clear that he wasn’t talking about his future wife’s appearance, but about her character. But even after they had developed feelings for each other, there were still some hangups to work out. Jeremy says that at first he was afraid, even “petrified,” at the idea of becoming a reality TV star. He got over his misgivings when Jinger made it clear that her heart was “not being driven by the red carpet.” Because Jinger is a Duggar, there was no dating — there was a courtship, an engagement, and a wedding. It was when they prepared for that that Jinger brought up “the issue of purity and communication.” Jeremy explains that he and his wife discuss various temptations that he may experience. “Very early on, from the moment we were married,” Jeremy says. “I wanted Jinger to be in with me on the battle for purity.” That line alone is a great reminder that the Duggars and those in their world have very different everyday concerns than most of us. “And so,” Jeremy admits. “It’s a difficult conversation at times to have.” “But,” he says, it’s helpful “to be able to say, ‘hey I’m getting hit with some temptation or I’m just struggling this morning with this or that.'” He admits that he had some uncertainty about being directly honest about “impure” thoughts. “We naturally think, ‘if I show her that I’m struggling with this thought or that thought, it’s going to hurt her,’” Jeremy explains. “Well,” he reveals. “Actually the opposite is true.” “It actually builds her trust,” Jeremy says. He says that it works this way “because she begins to think ‘oh, if he’s struggling, he’s going to let me know and I can fight with him.'” Honesty often builds trust. So, if we’re understanding this carefully phrased explanation correctly … Jeremy tells Jinger his naughty thoughts. Most people just check out a stranger’s butt or neck or whatever floats their boat and then think nothing of it. But there are two types of marriages where one spouse will lay it all bare before the other and share every thirst trap they saw that day. One is people in a polyamorous or open relationship where the couple shares their stories. The other is fundamentalists who turn their married life into a ritual of confession. Gypsy Rose Blanchard to Fans: PLEASE Help Me Get Out of Prison!

The strange saga of Gypsy Rose Blanchard has been back in the news in a big way lately. In 2015, Gypsy was arrested for the murder of her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard. Dee Dee suffered from Munchausen syndrome by proxy, and during the first decades of Gypsy’s life, her mother subjected her to painful and unnecessary medical treatments. Dee Dee convinced the world that Gypsy suffered from leukemia, asthma, muscular dystrophy and brain damage so severe that as an adult, she had the mental capacity of a 7-year-old. Gypsy was not actually afflicted with any of these ailments, but at her mother’s insistence, she was confined to a wheelchair, fed through a feeding tube. and forbidden to leave the house without Dee Dee. When the abuse became too much for Gypsy to bear, she recruited her then-boyfriend, Nicholas Godejohn, to murder Dee Dee. These days, Godejohn is serving a life sentence, and Gypsy is locked up until at least 2024. There’s been renewed interest in Gypsy’s case in recent months thanks to a number of film and television projects focusing on the case. Most recently, the HBO documentary Mommy Dead and Dearest , and the scripted Hulu series The Act  made millions aware of Dee Dee’s murder and Gypsy’s abuse. Last week, the world learned that Gypsy had gotten engaged through a prison pen pal program. And now, the long-suffering 27-year-old is asking for the public’s support in getting out of prison so that she can truly begin her life. In a newly-released email sent to her father and addressed to her many supporters, Gypsy asked the public to contact Missouri governor Michael L. Parson on her behalf. “Hello friends and supporters,” she begins . “I appreciate the continued encouragement throughout my prison sentence. Many of y’all have signed the Free Gypsy Blanchard Petition created by my father, Rod Blanchard, Blanchard continues. “Now, I must ask a favor.” “I am respectfully asking all who wish me an early release to please aid my father in his efforts for my freedom, and write a letter expressing support for my early release to either the Missouri State Governor, Michael L. Parson, and/or the Division of the Missouri State Board of Probation and Parole,” she adds. “I am scheduled for a parole hearing in December of 2021. However, any and all letters of support are helpful. Please remember to add my first and last name and DOC# in the letter. Thank you,” If you wish to join the campaign to help free Gypsy Rose, you can reach out to probation.parole@doc.mo.gov using the subject line, “P&P Inquiry,” or write to Governor Michael L. Parson at P.O. Box 720, Jefferson City, MO 65102. Be sure to include Gypsy’s full name, as well as her inmate number, #1302048. No doubt this is a morally complex situation — but there’s certainly a case to be made that Gypsy has suffered enough. View Slideshow: 21 Stars Who Very Likely Killed Someone

Vicki Gunvalson: SUING Brooks Ayers for "Malicious" Fraud!

For four long years, Vicki Gunvalson dated the now disgraced Brooks Ayers. Most Real Housewives fans remember him best for having faked cancer , chemo, and chemo symptoms. But apparently he also “borrowed” a tremendous amount of money from Vicki. And she’s now suing him to force him to pay it back. E! News obtained court documents that reveal that Vicki Gunvalson is taking her ex, Brooks Ayers, to court. “Commencing in or about 2011,” documents read. “Plaintiff Gunvalson and Defendant Ayers entered into a series of loans.” These were loans “wherein Ayers borrowed various amounts of money from Gunvalson.” She allegedly loaned him a whopping $184,899 in 2011. Later, she says that she loaned him $81,652 for legal fees that he paid over a number of years. “And,” documents affirm. “Gunvalson agreed to loan such amounts to Ayers.” Apparently, they were both in total agreement … back when the loans were first made. “Ayers acknowledged the balance due on the loans,” the documents read. “In the amount of $184,899 to Gunvalson.” The court papers continue: “Ayers agreed to provide an accounting of all sums paid to him in various income streams.” In other words, she wanted him to prove to her that he was making enough money to pay her back. And, of course, to show her that he was paying her back as soon as he could — and not squirreling away cash for himself. We know that you will be simply shocked to read that Ayers allegedly failed to repay Vicki. The documents also accuse him of having failed to provide her with any accounting of his various revenue streams. (To be fair, that’s probably tricky to produce when you’re an alleged con artist) As far back as 2013, the two of them were joined in litigation in Clark County, Nevada. The involved litigation meant legal fees and expenses, which ran through 2015.  You’ll never guess who got left with the check. “Ayers was unable to pay his portion of the attorneys’ fees and costs incurred on his behalf in the litigation,” the documents assert. “The Parties entered into a verbal agreement,” the papers reveal. This was a pact wherein Ayers borrowed $81,652,97 from Gunvalson.” This was all “to pay for the legal services, attorneys’ fees, and costs incurred in the Las Vegas litigation.” It sounds like she has yet to see dime one from that loan. The documents accuse that Brooks “failed and continued to fail to remedy or make good on the said account to Gunvalson.” Vicki suggests that he “had no intention of ever repaying either of the loans.” “Defendant committed the acts alleged knowingly, willingly, intentionally, maliciously,” the documents read. “And,” the papes add. “With the conscious disregard of the rights of Plaintiff.” “Defendant was in the superior position in relationship to his records,” Vicki accused. The documents continue: “Plaintiff reasonably expected trust and confidence in the integrity and fidelity of Defendant’s accounting and records.” Vicki accuses Brooks of “concealing and continuing to conceal accounting of his records.” “Defendant’s continued concealment of any accounting,” documents read. “Is an attempt to intentionally defraud and oppress Plaintiff.” Vicki has asked that the sum that she’s seeking, which is (obviously) in excess of $15,000, be determined at trial. She’s looking for compensation for attorneys’ fees, legal costs incurred both in the past and during this process, plus interest — and more. Honestly? Best of luck to her. We’re just glad that, these days, Vicki’s boyfriend saves her job instead of milking her for cash. View Slideshow: Vicki Gunvalson: DEMOTED to “Friend” of the Real Housewives in Stunning Shakeup!

Lori Loughlin Pleads Not Guilty, Thinks She Can Actually Beat College Bribery Charge

Lori Loughlin is ready to fight, people. The polarizing actress is apparently willing to risk her freedom and whatever is left of her reputation by denying she did anything illegal when helping her kids apply for college. That’s right: Loughlin just pleaded not guilty in the admissions bribery scandal that has captivated a nation. Lori and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, entered not guilty pleas to all charges in court this morning: conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud and honest services mail and wire fraud, along with conspiracy to commit money laundering. They entered said pleas via documents submitted by their lawyers. The charges, as you must know by now, stem from the allegation that Loughlin and Giannulli engineered their two daughters’ way into college through very unethical and illegal means. They were indicted in mid-March for supposedly paying a middle man $500,000 . This middle man then bribed an official at the University of Southern California to pretend that Loughlin’s kids were athletic recruits, thereby lowering their admission standards and allowing them to be accepted into the semi-prestigious school. Over the past several days, numerous outlets have reported that Loughlin didn’t take the federal charges seriously at first. Hence why she chose NOT to sign a plea deal similar to the one signed by Felicity Huffman. Huffman, the other famous name associated with this scandal, did plead guilty last week, did issue an apology and did take responsibility for her actions. As a result, she likely will not end up in prison for more than a few months… if she gets sentenced to jail at all. But Loughlin has thus far bristled at any notion of any sort of deal. Previously, the U.S. Attorney out of Boston gave all of the parents charged in this scheme an ultimatum: Either accept a plea or the case would go to the Grand Jury and additional charges would be filed — and this is exactly what happened to Loughlin and her husband. They now could be sentenced to 40 years behind bars . Does this seem likely? No. But if there really are recordings of Loughlin arranging to make her bribe, and if she is eventually found guilty, it seems very easy to believe that she’ll face real prison time in the end. How great would that be?!? “At this point, [Loughlin] is getting complete clarity and she’s scared and in terrible shape,” a source recently told Entertainment Tonight, adding: “She has been in complete denial and thought maybe she could skate by. She refused to accept any jail time and thought the DA was bluffing. She was adamant she wouldn’t do any jail time.” Conversely, after Huffman agreed to plead guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services mail fraud, she said the following: “I am in full acceptance of my guilt, and with deep regret and shame over what I have done, I accept full responsibility for my actions and will accept the consequences that stem from those actions.” Loughlin is playing a very different legal game here. And a very dangeorus one as well.

Don’t Sleep: B. Simone Is Proof That Funny Is The New Fine

Source: Paul Archuleta / Getty We’re certainly living in a time where the last thing you should do is judge a book by it’s cover. Social media has definitely changed the way we view people and what societal label we should place on them— especially when it comes to women. Since the dawn of time, women have been told that they have to act, dress, look, speak and behave in a certain way to be accepted by the rest of society. But one thing that the rise of the Internet has afforded us is the freedom to be who tf we want, how tf we want, when tf we want. Cardi B was also a huge talisman of the movement by changing the stigma the use to  come along with being a stripper. At one point in time, exotic dancers were exiled in the community and treated as if they were less than human. “People say, ‘Why do you always got to say that you used to be a stripper?’ We get it. Because y’all don’t respect me because of it, and y’all going to respect these strippers from now on… Just because somebody was a stripper don’t mean they don’t have no brain. Everybody gets bothered about everything. Everybody got a f—ing opinion about you. If I change myself, then I’m going to lose myself, and I won’t be who makes me happy.” – Cardi B Bardi is one of many women who’ve used their platform to breath new life into the way our society views women. Comedians like B. Simone are rising stars who can inspire young women to worry less about fitting into glass slippers and more about shattering glass ceilings. In a world where people think that beautiful women can’t be funny, B. Simone is proof that funny is actually the new fine. View this post on Instagram Omg its lil Fizz we love you B2K ! #millenniumtour ITS MY BIRTHDAY Brought back so many memories #BSimoneBday A post shared by B. In a 2018 intro with AFRO.com, Simone shared: “So I encourage young Black women to use [social media] to your advantage. I don’t care if you’re a doctor, and you need more people in your doctor’s office, or if you’re an actress… That platform is needed for whatever occupation you’re in.” With all the beauty she possesses, it’s easy for B. Simone to get on the ‘gram and just post of how on fleek she is — but it takes courage to get on a Wild N’ Out stage and be just as funny (if not, funnier) than half of the men around. So for that, we applaud the birthday girl for being authentically hersel, and making funny the new fine. Hit the flip to check out some of the comedians fine and funny moments.
