Khloe Kardashian is running out of time to divorce estranged husband Lamar Odom or a judge will dismiss the filing, according to a surprising new report. As you know if you watch Keeping Up with the Kardashians online and its assorted spinoffs, Khloe has been apart from Lamar for a year and a half. At the same time, she remains technically married, perpetually in a state of flux and emotionally sandbagged by how things ended, yet won’t legally end. Khloe filed in December 2013, in the wake of cheating rumors, a confrontation with one of his various hoes and that bizarre Lamar Odom crack video . The basketball star never responded, however, and has been dragging his feet – while largely AWOL and MIA in life – in pretty much the entire time since. Fast forward to this week, and TMZ confirms that a document was just filed by the court in Khloe’s divorce, telling the reality star to move it or lose it. Unless she files the papers to seal the deal and make the split official, the whole case will be tossed and she’ll still be Mrs. Odom. Sorry, French Montana. View Slideshow: Khloe and Lamar in Happier Times It’s not like Odom can put the brakes on this simply by sitting on his ass (though he’s doing all he can in that regard). Khloe can seek a default judgment. In other words, she can ask a judge to finalize it, arguing that Lamar has had ample time to respond but has not done so. But Khloe has yet to do so. Despite rumors of Khloe and Lamar getting back together , family sources say she simply shelved the divorce because she got sick of thinking about it. She may need to rethink that non-strategy, though. It’s become major baggage, and not just mentally. Khloe and Lamar’s house sold for $5.5 million in 2014. That money, like the legality of their once-treasured union and the state of Khloe’s personal life, is in limbo. No one knows what do make of any of the above. Student Suspended From University Of South Carolina Over Racist Snapchat Her parents must be so proud. Via WISTV reports: A student at the University of South Carolina has been suspended after a photo of the student who appeared to be writing a racial slur went viral Friday. The photo, which appears to be taken from Snapchat and posted on several social media sites, shows a list of reasons why “USC’s WiFi blows.” On the top of that list is the N-word. The University of South Carolina said it actually took place inside a study room. President Harris Pastides said the student was suspended Friday and a code of conduct investigation has begun. The course of action endorsed was also endorsed by the Board of Trustees, Pastides said. “The unfortunate and disappointing act of a student in a study room has challenged the Carolina community to reflect on our values and tell the world what we believe,” Pastides said in a statement. “Respect for all is at the heart of the Carolinian Creed, the code by which we agree to abide. Racist and uncivil rhetoric have no place at the University of South Carolina.” The student, who was not named, could also face expulsion. Following the incident the NAACP released the following statement: “A recent tweet that shows a student at the University of South Carolina listing the N-word as one of her grievances against the institution brings to mind a famous quote attributed to the French writer Alfonse Karr, “the more things change, the more they remain the same”. Such negative attitudes have existed since the first European explorers visited the land we now call America. It is disappointing but no longer shocking to see a college student following what appears to be a growing trend in our state and nation. Scenes such as this while captured in still shots from time to time through social media, sadly reflect what people of color often experience in many communities. In the midst of the positive portrayal of University of South Carolina students over the past several weeks, we once again face a stark reality: even at our highest points as a society there are those among us – including the young – who wish they were still in Dixie. This is why the NAACP cannot compromise, must not relent in its pursuit of dignity, justice and equality for all people in America.” The student shown in the photo has yet to say anything publicly about the incident. Maybe Kim Kardashian dyed her hair in hopes that there’s some truth to the theory that blondes have more fun. Because we honestly can’t think of any other way the 34-year-old wife and mom could cram more enjoyment into her life of luxury. For the past week, Kim’s been flaunting her huge boobs and blonde locks in Paris for the semi-annual Fashion Week festivities, and while the French have been going nuts for Mrs. West (as they always do, for some reason) at least one member of her family is unimpressed: A source close to the Kardashians tells Radar Online that eldest sister Kourtney thinks Kim should be spending more time at home with her 20-month-old daughter North, and less time globetrotting with Kanye West. “If you notice, Kourtney and Kim are never together anymore,” says the insider. “Ever since Kim married Kanye, she doesn’t even recognize her sister. Kourtney cannot handle being around Kim.” At previous Fashion Weeks, Kim has been accused of using her daughter as an accessory by dragging North to runway shows and other age-inappropriate activities. Sources have claimed that Kim only brings Nori along in her travels, if she knows there will be photo-ops involved. Kourtney is reportedly wise to the routine and thinks that Kim has her priorities reversed. “Kourtney is a hands-on mom,” says the insider. “Unlike Kim she is actually present in her kids’ lives. Being a good mom comes from what you do when the cameras aren’t rolling.” Hmm…not an issue for most families, but good advice, we suppose.
