Yesterday, we learned that HGTV stars Tarek and Christina El Moussa are separated , following a frightening incident involving firearms and threats of suicide. The confrontation took place in May, but news of the extremely popular Flip or Flop couple’s ugly breakup only went public yesterday. At first little was known about the confrontation that escalated to the point that it necessitated legal intervention. But now, Radar Online has obtained a 911 call and police records that shed new light on the terrifying ordeal. According to those records on May 23 “at approximately 3:45 p.m., Sheriff’s personal responded to a call of a possibly suicidal male with a gun.” Authorities were so concerned that they responded with 22 deputies and a police helicopter. Christina told police that she became concerned after she “received a call from her friend at about 3:30 pm,” the records state. “The friend was in Christina’s bedroom and saw Tarek take a handgun from the safe, place it in his backpack and leave the room. She asked him what he was doing, but he did not answer.” According to the friend, Tarek “did not make any threatening statements,” and the documents state that she “denied that Tarek had ever been suicidal.” Nevertheless, the friend “called Christina and told her to leave the residence because Tarek had a gun.” Tarek left the home shortly thereafter, and was tracked down by police “on a mountainside” nearby. They communicated with him via the helicopter’s PA system, and he agreed to surrender all of his firearms, which included: – A Kahr K9 handgun – A Pietro Baretta – A Springfield EMP 9mm – A Stag Arms AR 15 – A Ruger GP 100 .357. Now that we’re getting a clearer picture of exactly what happened between Tarek and Christina , many expected HGTV to announce the cancelation of their popular house-flipping series. For now, however, it seems the network is planning to stick with two of their most popular personalities, who are still working together. Well in addition to that, “In My Own Words…My Reality” also discusses the recent fallout between Toya and Tamar Braxton. After years of friendship and Tamar defending Toya from K. According to Fox 4 reports : Tyrone Moseley says he stopped a local Sonic Drive-in with his coworker for lunch on Friday. He says they ordered on the patio where they usually take his name. But this time, they didn’t. After they finished their meal, Tyrone says he noticed his friend’s receipt that said, “Mexican.” When he checked his receipt, it said a variation of the n-word. “One of the workers, she came outside. I asked her and said, ‘Do you know anything about this? Is this how y’all put the name of your customers on your receipt?’ She was like, ‘Ugh… no.’ But then she kind of giggled and just walked off and kept going,” he explained. Moseley said the carhop responsible for the slurs is also black. “I try not to use that word, and I know where it comes from,” he said. “It kind of bothers me for your own kind to call you that. Especially at a place of business. Especially where I spend my money at.” SMH… Do you find it more or less insulting that the person responsible was black? The restaurant is doing damage control by firing the server and promising to provide training to make sure employees know this kind of behavior is unacceptable. Sonic sent the following statement to FOX 4: “We understand that a carhop wrote an offensive word on one customer’s receipt and a different offensive word on another customer’s receipt. The franchisees who own and operate this drive-in consider such behavior to be completely unacceptable. Elizabeth Gilbert, she who has been blessed by Oprah and inspired every girl in her 20’s to customize an Eat Pray Love vacation of their own, has followed her happiness and fallen in love with her best friend, Rayya Elias. Back in July, Gilbert confirmed that she and husband Jose Nunes – whom she famously met in Bali during the “Love” section of her best-selling book, Eat Pray Love – were separating. At the time, Gilbert chose not to reveal the reasons behind the couple’s split, but today the world-famous author wrote a note to her fans on Facebook, admitting that she has fallen for Elias, who was diagnosed with cancer this past spring. Dear Ones – There is something I wish to tell you today — something which I hope and trust you will receive with grace. This spring, I received news that would change my life forever. My best friend Rayya Elias was diagnosed with pancreatic and liver cancer — a disease for which there is no cure. In the moment I first learned of Rayya’s diagnosis, a trap door opened at the bottom of my heart (a trap door I didn’t even know was there) and my entire existence fell straight through that door. From that moment forward, everything became about HER. I cancelled everything in my life that could be cancelled, and I went straight to her side, where I have been ever since. Something happened to my heart and mind in the days and weeks following Rayya’s diagnosis. Death — or the prospect of death — has a way of clearing away everything that is not real, and in that space of stark and utter realness, I was faced with this truth: I do not merely love Rayya; I am in love with Rayya. Here is her mantra on truth, which I’ve heard her express so many times over the years, in so many difficult situations: “The truth has legs; it always stands. When everything else in the room has blown up or dissolved away, the only thing left standing will always be the truth. Since that’s where you’re gonna end up anyway, you might as well just start there.” So. Here is where we stand now: Rayya and I are together. I love her, and she loves me. I’m walking through this cancer journey with her, not only as her friend, but as her partner. I am exactly where I need to be — the only place I can be. Gilbert gently encouraged her fans not to send tips/stories/remedies for Elias’ cancer, because they have been overwhelmed by information in the past months. Instead, Gilbert requested that people send “whatever extra love” that’s being carried around in their hearts. “It will be felt,” she wrote. “And it will help. We will resonate with it, and we will thank you for it.”

Back in March, Teen Mom: OG cast member Catelynn Lowell checked into rehab to be treated for depression and anxiety. In a recent interview, Lowell stated she's “not cured” but is doing better emotionally following extensive in-patient treatment. Catelynn's relationship with husband Tyler Baltierra is generally considered to be one of the most stable in the Teen Mom franchise. As is to be expected, Baltierra publicly and privately supported and visited his wife during her stay in an Arizona facility. So it came as a shock to many TM fans when a clip for the show's upcoming season showed Baltierra giving Lowell a hard time. Specifically, about what she's eating for dinner. The clip shows the 24-year-old Lowell revealing to Baltierra, also 24, that she's thinking about joining Weight Watchers again. Tyler is encouraging at first, but the conversation quickly turns casually ugly, as he ridicules her for the size of the meal she's eating. “That’s a big ass quesadilla, it has a lot of chicken,” Tyler says. “It’s your body, you could do what you want.” “Obviously I don’t want no heifer for a wife!” Yes, he actually said that. Kind of unreal. The conversation gets so nasty so fast that one of the show's producers – if you watch Teen Mom: OG online , you know that unlike Teen Mom 2 , OG often stylistically puts the MTV staff members on camera in a strange interplay with the cast – intervenes on Catelynn's behalf. “You come off so harsh sometimes,” the producer says. Baltierra, apparently oblivious to the seriousness of the situation, “I’m being honest! Would you want to be married to some big heifer?” NOTE: Tyler, take the lifeline next time it's offered. Baltierra and Lowell married in August of 2015, and have been the subject of many a #RelationshipGoals hashtag in the year since. They both survived difficult childhoods and unusual circumstances – they met because they are step-siblings, as fans know. Especially following the trauma of giving their first child for adoption, they've served as pillars of strength and support for one another.
